Who Will Vet the Vetters?

CHERIE ZASLAWSKY

Now that Donald Trump has won the presidency in a landslide victory in both the Electoral College and the popular vote, including a sweep of all the swing states and majorities in both the House and Senate, he’s in an ideal position to carry out his program to undo the damage of the Biden/Harris nightmare, and to Make America Great Again.

But for him to do that, as America’s top executive, he needs to have the right team in place.

Shortly after the election, while patriots rejoiced, some podcasters in the alternative media space began predicting horrific scenarios that would throw the country into chaos and upend Trump’s victory: cyber attacks that would shut down our grid for months; catastrophic false flags; onset of WWIII, etc. But the powers-that-be have no pressing need for such dramatic displays.

Instead, all they need to do now is what they did after Trump won in 2016: fill his administration with quislings and saboteurs.

ANY SNAKES IN THE GRASS?

As attorney Tom Renz pointed out in an interview with Alex Jones, another on the JD Rucker Show, and also on his own Substack, the best way to do that would be to place an unlikely saboteur in a position of ultimate power over who has access to Trump—the gatekeeper role—and who, as his trusted advisor, can readily persuade him regarding whom to appoint to various Cabinet positions.

According to Renz, that wily saboteur is none other than the grandmotherly Susie Wiles, who keeps such a low profile that most people may have no idea who she is or how much power she quietly wields.

THE TRANSITION TEAM’S BLUNDERS

Ultimately, it may hardly matter whether the spate of questionable appointments President-Elect Trump has recently announced is due to Wiles and/or other members of Trump’s retinue attempting to undermine the MAGA agenda, or is largely the result of putting a number of well-meaning novices in the position of suggesting candidates they are ill-equipped to properly vet.

Yet some choices wreak of intentional trickery.

Case in point: Olivia Murray, writing for American Thinker, posted an eye-opening blog with this title: Trump reportedly eyeing a George Soros ally as Treasury Secretary.

She writes that Scott Bessent: was (maybe still is?) a very close and trusted colleague of George Soros, having served as a partner at Soros Fund Management, eventually becoming the head of the firm’s London outfit.

Why would Trump, the anti-globalist nationalist par excellence, so much as consider a Soros-backed banker for America’s Secretary of the Treasury?

Asks Murray:

Who put Bessent on Trump’s shortlist?

Is Trump’s new chief of staff, Susie Wiles, gatekeeping candidates that would better serve the interests of the American people?

How many more of Trump’s considerations have very unsavory ties to open enemies of America?

MATT GAETZ: A LIABILITY RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE

Another worrisome choice is that of Congressman Matt Gaetz for Attorney General, arguably one of the most important roles in the administration.

As reported by Business Insider, “Gaetz [was] the focus of a federal criminal investigation into whether he had a sexual relationship with a minor and broke sex-trafficking laws.”

Not a great look for the would-be head of the Department of Justice, who’s also been under a lengthy investigation for illegal and sordid activities by the House Ethics Committee.

In fact, the House Ethics Committee’s ongoing investigation into Gaetz’s alleged misconduct recently wrapped up with the release of their report scheduled for November 15th. Could that be why Matt abruptly resigned from Congress, as an escape hatch from the Committee’s findings, since they only have jurisdiction over members of Congress?

Either way it’s a win-win for Gaetz: He evades the possible humiliation of being censured or forced to resign by the House Ethics Committee, and may even get the prize of the AG position.

Senator Dick Durbin, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, sent a letter making this observation to the House Ethics Committee:

We cannot allow this critical information from a bipartisan investigation into longstanding public allegations to be hidden from the American people, given that it is directly relevant to the question of whether Mr. Gaetz is qualified and fit to be the next Attorney General of the United States.

Interestingly, House Speaker Mike Johnson recently broke with protocol to say: “I’m going to strongly request that the Ethics Committee not issue the report because that is not the way we do things in the House.”  But if Gaetz is innocent, why not release the report vindicating him? And if he’s guilty of ethics violations, shielding him by hiding the House’s own report is a slap in the face to the Trump administration and the American people who deserve a reputable and highly qualified Attorney General under President Trump.

As cited in WND, Liberty Counsel doesn’t mince words:

It [Liberty Counsel] issued a statement describing Gaetz as “neither morally nor professionally qualified” for the position.

It pointed out he has three years or less experience in the practice of law, “hardly enough to serve as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer.”

In fact, he resigned from Congress as soon as his nomination was announced, “ending the Ethics probe into his sex parties that includes allegations of paying an underage girl for sex.”

If Mr. Gaetz were a man of good character, one would expect he’d either request that the bipartisan House Ethics Committee release its report in the interest of transparency, or decline the nomination for Attorney General. He’s already an embarrassment to the President, and even if innocent, there is something to be said about the need for the appearance of virtue as well as the fact of it.

As a sidenote: Gaetz was instrumental in helping to torpedo the Save Our Gas Stoves Act, which would have protected our rights to use gas appliances in opposition to the Green New Deal’s push to limit us to electricity for energy. In other words, he supported the radical Leftists’/globalists’ agenda, using a sneaky rationalization to do so.

Fortunately, there is a formidable Attorney General that Trump could tap who’s been valiantly fighting the good fight in Texas. An outstanding man for the job, Texas’ AG Ken Paxton is tough, he’s in the trenches, he’s MAGA, he‘s Trump’s kind of guy! And he’d be a major upgrade from Mr. Gaetz by any standards.

LIL’ MARCO AS SECRETARY OF STATE?

Before we get to some of the good choices, here’s another troubling pick: Marco Rubio as Secretary of State.

Rubio was part of the Gang of Eight proposing amnesty for illegal aliens. This is the opposite of what the MAGA millions voted for in electing Trump.

And what experience does Rubio have regarding China, Iran, Russia, NATO or the Middle East? We deserve a far more experienced Secretary of State with a proven record of America First patriotism and understanding of the international chessboard, as well as the gravitas to represent the United States before leaders of other nations.

Furthermore, Rubio betrayed President Trump on January 6th, 2021, when some brave Senators challenged the certification of electors from Arizona and Pennsylvania. Instead, Rubio voted to certify the obviously questionable results from those states. Team Trump can certainly find a better pick for this crucial position.

TULSI GABBARD

The MAGA movement welcomes newcomers with open arms, and Conservative Republicans gladly embrace former Democrats who’ve finally seen the light of day.

But is it wise to put a lifelong Democrat who only recently switched to Republican and whose allegiance has yet to be tested, into the top level role in our Intelligence apparatus?

Did the Trump Transition Team carefully vet Tulsi? Did they miss that fact that she was a WEF “Global Young Leader,” or that she endorsed and toured with Bernie Sanders in 2016, and perhaps most importantly, that she’s a member of the America last/Globalism first Council on Foreign Relations?

If Team Trump wants to give the middle finger to the out-of-control and utterly corrupt Deep State, there’s one surefire way to do it.

Whom did the Swamp make sure to immediately boot out of Trump’s Cabinet during his first term? That’s right: General Michael Flynn!

Mike Flynn paid the price for being a true patriot and is loyal to Trump. Put him back in the same position they tricked him out of last time, and watch the rats scramble to leave the ship! He’s a perfect fit for this role, all bona fides in place.

UNDER CONSIDERATION: MIKE ROGERS FOR FBI DIRECTOR

One has merely to listen to a 6-minute video by former State Department Head of Cyber Portfolio Mike Benz to know why Rogers should never have been under consideration.  Benz drops another of his truth-telling bombshells as he exposes Mike Rogers, who, like James Comey and Christopher Wray, would be a Deep State plant brought in to preserve the status quo.

Whoever on the President’s team suggested Rogers—and/or approved the suggestion—is either incapable of proper vetting, or is playing for the opposing team.

WHEN HASTE MAKES WASTE

It seems as if Trump’s transition team counts it a virtue to make speedy and highly unexpected picks. But why keep up such a frantic pace? That was necessary during the campaign, but not now—we’ve already won. And why seek to catapult so many quasi neophytes into positions of power before they’ve earned their stripes? We need well-chosen men and women with proven track records in the area of their relevant expertise, regardless of their age or following.

This is the time for careful vetting and measured consideration as to which trusted patriot would be best for each position. Experienced researcher and journalist Kelleigh Nelson addresses the vetting issue in her recent illuminating article here. And ideally, none of Trump’s nominees should be current members of the House or Senate, since we need all the votes we can get in both Houses.

According to the Washington Times:

In most of his Cabinet-level announcements, Mr. Trump has sought out moderately distinguished officials whose chief qualification appears to be fealty to the Trump political movement.

That’s part of the problem. Yes, you want fealty, but that’s only half the equation. You need the best of the best, people who have the skills, the expert qualifications, and the successful professional experience for the position they’re nominated for.

And by the way, not all who appear to be loyal to Trump’s America First agenda are sincere. Therein lies the rub.

SOME OF TRUMP’S EXCELLENT PICKS:

  • Stephen Miller

We may never know which of the nominees were proposed by others on his team, and which were Trump’s own original choices, but my guess is that Stephen Miller was Trump’s pick from the get-go. The brilliant Miller has been a loyal America-firster since Trump’s first term, and one couldn’t wish for a better advisor. In addition, he can keep close watch on Susie Wiles! Score one for Trump.

  • Tom Homan

Tom Homan as ICE Director and Border Czar is another brilliant choice. I can just imagine the difference between the no-nonsense Homan and the vacuous Kackler Kamala, who, when Lester Holt of NBC pointed out she’d never been to the border, countered with “And I haven’t been to Europe.”

Tom Homan is the perfect man for the job, and dealing with the hordes of illegal aliens that invade our country is a big part of why We the People gave Trump his mandate.

  • Lee Zeldin

Lee Zeldin has had a distinguished career in the military as well as in politics, serving in New York State’s Senate and staunchly supporting Conservative values. He’s MAGA all the way, loyal to Trump, a skilled attorney, and raring to go as the head of the EPA—one of the most out-of-control agencies in Washington. Zeldin will reverse the Left’s war on fossil fuels and bring our energy sector roaring back, in keeping with President Trump’s promise to “Drill, baby, drill!”

  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Trump has honored his promise to give Bobby Kennedy a significant role in his administration regarding health issues. As head of HHS, Kennedy will have oversight over the FDA, CDC, and NIH among others. Has the statute of limitations passed on Fauci’s corrupt, illegal shenanigans? If not, the Fauch must be shaking in his boots.

While Kennedy has been a lifelong Democrat whom some consider a radical environmentalist, he’s uber-qualified to take on the corrupt three-letter health-related agencies that caused so much suffering for so many during Covid. There’s much good he can do in this role, provided, as Trump has remarked, that he stays in his lane, which shouldn’t be difficult, since his lane is now wider than a country mile.

AN AMERICA-FIRST FUTURE

Let’s not forget that we are at war with enemies foreign and domestic seeking to overturn our Constitutional Republic and lead us down the slippery slope to a Marxist/globalist dystopia. This is why accurate vetting of potential members of President Trump’s team is absolutely vital.

Without doubt, globalist-aligned dissemblers will seek to burrow into his Cabinet and beyond, pretending to be MAGA supporters. And since we can’t see into the human heart, rigorous vetting is the best tool we have to keep such quislings from gaining a foothold in Trump’s administration. Remember, this may be our last chance. We can ill afford mistakes.

As Eric Lendrum pointed out writing for American Greatness, during the campaign, Trump created, “…a true ‘big tent’ approach that did not sacrifice any of the core tenets of his America First agenda.”

His challenge now is to do likewise as he assembles his team. The MAGA millions who elected him deserve no less.

Though if any of Trump’s picks should disappoint in their new roles, the President knows very well how to say those two beautiful Trumpian words: “You’re fired!”

  1. Re: the Marco Rubio for Sec’y of State: Sundance has pointed out the following advantages of this pick:

“President Trump constrains Rubio in the mid-east by putting Steven C. Witkoff as Special Envoy to the Middle East. Essentially, neutering any intervention that might be launched by the IC agenda supported by the neocon wing of Rubio. Trump does this directly from the White House.

“That puts Rubio’s role as Secretary of State focused on Europe and Asia, both regions where President Trump has already outlined the benefits of the Trump Doctrine in creating a peace deal in Ukraine and economically neutering Chinese aggression (like he did in North Korea).

“While many of us do not like the thought of Rubio as Secretary of State, the value in removing Rubio from the SSCI is quite significant.

“With Rubio removed from the equation of the IC problem, the issue becomes mitigating (think neutering) the Secretary of State from undermining the Trump Doctrine; which, as you know, is the key Trump foreign policy approach using economic power combined with diplomacy”

Matt Gaetz has been investigated for years but not a single accusation has led to charges that could stick. Thus he was never charged with a single ethics violation or crime, by people who had every reason to want to find something on him. All the hullabaloo and pearl clutching about his prior investigations are simply more of the same smear tactics continuously being used against Trump since 2015. This is nothing new. If they can’t find something on you, they smear you with something you never did. The only people who have made the allegations against Gaetz have ended up in prison.

Those who stand to lose if Matt Gaetz is attorney general are leading the charges against him. These are people afraid that THEIR crimes will no longer be hidden.

There is nothing to be gained by allowing these criminals to dictate the process by which Matt Gaetz should be chosen. They will find a way to derail him no matter what is done to meet their needs for exposing investigations that went nowhere.

I agree with the author that no MAGA people want Mike Rogers or Bessent to be appointed to any position.

I understand Tom Renz’s concerns about Susie Wiles. And there are concerns that Dr. Oz being appointed to Medicare and Medicaid Services is problematic for his being pro-COVID “vaccine” and friendly with Dr. Peter Hotez, who has a totalitarian outlook, i.e. that those who refuse vaccines should have serious consequences.

Evidence of Susie Wiles being a plant to betray Donald Trump is still lacking. It may be revealed eventually, but so far this is a concern without actual evidence that it’s a reality.

I think what is of concern is that Donald Trump, himself, doesn’t seem to have understood the role of all vaccines in the chronic disease epidemic. RFK Jr. does understand this, but he has chosen to focus only on our ultraprocessed food supply as the cause of chronic illness. This is a shift for him, and many who have supported his work find this worrisome.

It may be that to focus directly on vaccines and drugs which harm Americans would alienate a significant portion of Americans. The entire US medical community is wedded to these agents, as is the entire Big Pharma.

Does anyone here have any idea as to how one would accomplish an awakening in these institutions, all of which are dead set against changing anything they do?

There are maybe a few hundred doctors in the US who are fully awakened, it is difficult to know because doctors who make this public have lost their hospital admitting privileges, and had to close their practices. The majority of doctors cannot afford to even think about the idea that their education may have sent them down the wrong path when it comes to drugs and vaccines. Their financial survival is dependent upon asserting how many lives the “vaccine” and masks saved. And their patients repeat the same mantra.

This might seem to some to be an easy problem to solve, but I do not know if it is that easy. Medicine as a “science” has been arm in arm with Big Pharma since early in the 20th century. It is going to take something massive to change it.

If during Trump’s administration, the whole country were to learn the truth about the “vaccines,” that could potentially start the ball rolling.

On the positive side, with X being an open source for news, it has only taken 2 years to mobilize the MAGA movement to Trump’s stunning victory. Who knows what other miracles might be possible in the near future?
