We soon will be over run in babies. The rabbits will have bunnies. The deer fawns. The birds nestlings. The hawks have nest for a month. A lovely time of year.
I cannot read my own post. This is strange.
I figure the coyotes would be singing when spring is in the air because as you said: They want sex. How romanticos.
mar55 Said:
They sing when they are packing, or when they make a large kill and invite the family for a share. This time of year it’s just sex !! They are denning. I kind of enjoy it. One night they were loud and I yelled out the window, ” SHUT-UP”, and they did. /so I yelled, “THAK YOU”.
mar55 Said:
Up above.
Coyotes? Wow! They kept you up all night. Why do they serenade? Is it always or just in spring? Perhaps to impress the females?
Strawberries are in season now. The market is full of them 4 for $5.00 packages of a pound. Humm…Delicious.
I wrote a description about my immediate neighborhood but, it never went through. Where did you read it?
@ mar55:
Thank for the lovely description of Jewish life in NYC, but how do stand the crowds? I envy you. your restaurants. I am setting bisquets for Strawberry Shortcake. Last night a whole, entire mispachah of coyotes sang for us. Unfortunately it was at 3:00 am.

I’m sorry about the loss of your father. I was very closed to mine. A good father is very dear to a daughter. I still think of mine.

PM Netanyahu Accepts Recommendation to Transfer Tax Revenues to the Palestinian Authority
(Communicated by the Prime Minister’s Media Adviser)
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Friday, 27 March 2015), approved the recommendation of Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, the IDF and the ISA, totransfer to the Palestinian Authority tax revenuesthat have accrued in recent months.
Accordingly, the tax revenues that accrued up until February will be transferred, offset by payments for services rendered to the Palestinian population, such as electricity, water and hospitalization.
The decision was made – inter alia – based on humanitarian concerns and in
overall consideration of Israel’s interests at this time.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said, “Given the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, one must act responsibly and with due consideration alongside a determined struggle against extremist elements.”

BB the stinking slime groveling and caving again!!!
He doesn’t even have a coalition yet and he is reverting to the real BB. I hope he fails to put together a coalition. Actually it might be best for Israel if there is no government in Jerusalem.
No one should be surprised, after all, was he not long ago acclaimed internationally as someone who has a problem with “the truth” ?

Lucky you 🙂

@ honeybee:
What does “Rotlaust tre fell” Have o do with Abba?
@ yamit82:
I don’t think it’s possible al pi halacha.
If you have to do such a thing, you have to do it from Rosh Chodesh Nissan’s eve. And even though, you have to clean up (less thoroughly) before closing everything.
Nah I will be a slave next week. And then I will be freed by G-d 😀
Plus I detest to travel aboard, especially during chagim
@ honeybee:
Oh, I’d like to, but in Israel before Pessah, it is IMPOSSIBLE to find someone for help. They are all busy.

One of the reasons so many Israelis travel abroad for the holiday week. I hate passover cleaning. Thought about closing up half the house for a week, no big sacrifice. 🙂

Precisely I don’t sleep much either, but I just worked 24 hrs straight and I need some rest because next week… nikayon! (I haven’t done ONE thing re. Pessah – I shudder when I think of it).

Oh thanks Yamit :). I’m grateful he didn’t suffer more than he already did. But I miss him a lot.
I’m so lucky to be Jewish: we will all see them again, what a wonderful comfort it is for the soul. G-d bless, brother. <3
Btw are we losing an hour of sleep tonight? I've just moved the clock forward, hope I didn't screw up lol

Economist Said:
Then BB must be more flexible and cave in as he does with everyone who puts pressure on him…30 mandates does not make a majority and each party in his potential coalition can block it’s formation therefore 8 mandates in the power equilibrium is equal to 30.. BB gave the store away pre-election to get the support of voters for kahloun and the Haredim along with Shas. He is out to squeeze Lieberman and Bennett along with Likud wannabees. I can see these negotiations lasting the entire 40 days and if Bennett and Lieberman hold strong BB will cave. Love to see that slime sweat.
@ yamit82:
What does it meaan? (I don’t know what message you’re replying to so I can’t even guess lol)

Coalition negotiations are not a suicide pact. Flexibility is required.
@ ArnoldHarris:
Jews and Greeks never got along. Safe to say Jews were non contributors to Western civiliztion until the Enlightenment.
Our philosophy was “In the beginning G-d created or “In the beginning of G-d’s creation….” In Jewish thought nothing is abstract. Trying to curry favor with rest of the world, assimilated Jews brag about Jewish achievements that benefited others. That is nonsense. Classical Roman authors disparaged Jews for being useless citizens of the world. Despite the idea that “Plato is nothing but Moses speaking Greek,” realistically Jewish input toward the ancient world’s knowledge is next to nil.
In the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, only baptized Jews exerted appreciable influence on gentile thought. In our times, the scores of scientists and artists of Jewish origin are not Jews to practical purposes: they do not lead Jewish lives and their grandchildren are usually not Jewish. The wave of Jewish participation in science and art declines as the developing nations increase their share.
Most nations have proved intellectually futile on a grand scale. Latin Americans, Ukrainians, and Swedes have introduced very little knowledge to the world’s pool. Germany, the model of intellectual activity, seethed with it for only about a century. Ancient Rome and modern Britain were intellectually active for two or three centuries, and Ancient Greece for just a bit longer.
Jews enjoyed their religion and themselves while the ancient authors derided them for intellectual emptiness, as having given nothing to the world. And why should we? We owe the world nothing. Our fiduciary obligation is to G-d, rather than to other nations. We lead the way of life he prescribed. Incidentally, that’s also the most ethical and politically sensible mode of living, and it offers a fine example to the rest of the world. But we’re equally proud of what they see as barbarisms: exterminating the Amalek, the mass murder of Jew-haters in the Persian Empire after Purim, conquering Canaan, bringing the foul-smelling sacrifices in the Temple, and meticulously observing Sabbath.
We need not prove ourselves before the world, but before its maker.
@ dove:
It would be inconvenient on my part to ask any question about that, but I’m truly horrified.
I thank G-d for having given me wonderful parents, zichronam livrakha
@ Avigail:
NO! I would not joke about something so serious. It is no exaggeration either!
@ dove:
Are you joking?! O_o
@ Avigail:
Of course! My sincere condolences. When the man who raised me died I could! He was my Haman – not Jewish – an anti-semite! He tried to have me put to death many times! It is all documented and will be available to the public.

“Don’t worry, be happy” 🙂
@Arnold: LOL!
@ Avigail:
This is soooooooo true! I have been under an incredible amount of stress and pressure that I became concerned for my health. I went to the doctor and also had bloodwork done. I was hand wringing until the results came in. ‘The doctor said….This is amazing. Your blood work is fantastic! Your blood sugars are perfect!’ Then she took my blood pressure – and it was normal. Again she commented…and said ‘I can’t believe this! No prescriptions required! Your done!”
I was very surprised. People who are close to me that have a better understand of my ‘load’ were getting quite concerned that it must be taking a toll. I guess this is what I am cut out for?
@ Bear Klein:
@ Avigail:
Both of you are right on target, as usual. There will be a coalition government. It will appoint ministers. The coalition thus selected and ministers thus appointed may have qualms about dashing rightward, but probably will at least lurch in that direction. In any case, I too pay little attention to hand-wringing and gevalt crap. (Well phrased, Avi.)

Here is the headline of a new news story.
French prosecutor: Co-pilot wanted to ‘destroy’ plane
Canadian Press
Canadian Press
By LORI HINNANT and DAVE McHUGH 3 hrs ago
What a dumb headline. If the co-pilot deliberately crashed into the mountains I think he was more intent on wanting to destroy the 150 people on board – one Israeli. Always sugar coating the headlines. 🙁
Folks the newspeople need stories. The coalition talks are fakes left right and center. People will use tricks and bullshit to try and get what they want out of the negotiations.
Likud will play tough. Bennett will say it will be a leftist coalition and only a miracle worker will know Lieberman will say next.
Unless you like your blood pressure high, just watch the ride and see to who is sitting in which chair at the of “coalition musical chairs”.
Many of us helped the Likud at the last moment even with deep reservations. Netanyahu cannot do a Sharonazo and get away with it. He is nowhere near that caliber.
Lets hope for the best but keep a stern eye focused on the scene.
What do you mean – “what’s with Bibi”? Same Bibi – what did you expect? Just because he got a right wing mandate doesn’t change the strips on the Zebra. This is after all the same Bibi who was previously elected on “NO TSS”, who promptly pronounced the “TSS”, who froze construction in J&S as well as Jerusalem, commissioned and then shelved the Levi Report and destroyed settlement communities. What’s with Ted?
I have learned never to trust any statement or report of sundry surprise intentions until they actualize; especially so when regarding Israeli Knesset factions jockeying for post-election coalition-based ministerial appointments.
Nor am I even interested in reading or listening to unsubstantiated whispers or rumors of the above.
Yes, I know; I probably would have been a lousy intelligence agent, what with my Artistotelian-based linear mentality.
