WHAT A DISGRACE: Pence Disagreed with Louie Gohmert on Electoral College Vote Before Lawsuit

T. Belman. I don’t get it.  If Pence doesn’t want to pick Trump electors over those for Biden, what IS Jan 6/21 all about?  Does anyone know?

Before Vice President Mike Pence was sued by Representative Louie Gohmert their lawyers met and the two sides disagreed about how the Electoral College is formally accepted.

After the meeting, Rep. Gohmert sued VP Pence and argued that Mike Pence should pick competing slates from the swing states Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigann, Wisconsin due to the mass amount of fraud in the 2020 stolen election.

Evidently, Mike Pence is no longer interested in politics.

Before Vice President Mike Pence was sued by a Republican congressman from Texas in a Hail Mary attempt to reverse the November election, their lawyers held a private meeting in which they disagreed about how the Electoral College vote is formally accepted.

Rep. Louie Gohmert, who claims Pence has the power to hand President Donald Trump a second term by rejecting Democratic electors from swing states, described the failed talks in a Tuesday filing in federal court in Tyler, Texas. Gohmert is seeking a court order requiring the Office of the Counsel for the Vice President and the U.S. Justice Department to respond to the lawsuit by Wednesday evening.

The Senate and House meet jointly on Jan. 6 to open and count certificates of electoral votes. The vice president has the constitutional role of presiding over the Senate, which has traditionally included overseeing the formal acceptance of the Electoral College vote.

Gohmert’s filing Tuesday also asked U.S. District Judge Jeremy Kernodle, a Trump appointee, to expedite the case and rule by Jan. 4, to allow time for a fast appeal.

  1. If Pence willfully ignores/rejects all the evidences of corruption and does not exclude corrupt states, can he be fired by his boss for dereliction of duty?
    Trump should know in advance what is VP intends on doing.

  2. I was watching the Georgia Legislature hearing for a couple of hours today and was delighted to see that super-expert Pulitzer, give testimony a few times. He was all over the frauds, and fake ballots….. VERY convincing. So they are getting down to business, the courts will HAVE to render just decisions.

    Although I didn’t like the chairman’s closing comments very much, sounded as if he was talking about making everything “right” for the NEXT election, and not doing anything about THIS one. Just my impression, and could be wrong. It was the phrasing and tenor of his comments I went by.

    BTW, I saw nothing in the cited Newsmax article, to support Hoft’s allegations. Pence still seems to be on the right side.

    Disclose.TV is reporting 15 min. ago that the Jan. 7 departure date for Pence’s trip to Israel has been officially cancelled undermining part of the basis for the original speculation that Pence was not going to fight for Trump.

    Yes, if Mike Pence is the latest, hidden never-Trumper plant in the Trump administration, then January 6 is just betrayal to undermine Trump and put Biden in the presidency. On Jan. 6 the VP and only the VP will make the decision to throughout the illegal delegates, or disqualify the entire slate of electors from contested states. I know that Lin Wood and Emerald Robinson are both sold on this canard, but I read that the ultimate source for this story stems back to Bloomberg news source. If that proves to be true, I have no concerns about it at all. Mike Pence has been a solid source of support for Trump over the years he has been in the White House. He was in the congress during the Bush years and he was a party-guy at the time. But he left Washington to run his state and stated he did not like Washington at the time he did so. Also, on Dec. 22, Pence stated at a rally in GA that “we are going to count every legal vote and not count every illegal vote”. Many are conjecturing this was reference to the Senate races, but really I find that very unconvincing. Pence may be compromised and if so, Trump will be badly compromised on Jan. 6. But Mike Pence is about as anti-China and anti-left as it gets. He has espoused these values since he was a talk show host early in his life. I might find myself to be in the minority, but if I am correct about the source being Bloomberg, odds are Jan. 6 will be a very interesting day. Otherwise, the Gohmert lawsuit is quite meaningless as Pence’s decision will not be able to be amended by the congress or the President and then we are left with only Jan. 20 to decide the presidency.
