I appreciate your response to Michael’s chiding comment. I can understand that people don’t believe that Nazi’s exist in Ukraine or that they don’t believe that Nazi’s are recollected with pride or held in veneration, but when it is shown that these are not mythical musings, they all too often still refuse to respond in a manner which acknowledges these facts as being relevant or true.

In any event, the links still work, but only on my PC. When I use my phone the links are gone.

I am reposting them with an archived link, so perhaps that will help:

memorial plaque in honor of the Nazi war criminal Oleksa Babiy «Arien» – member of SS Einsatzkommando 4a which on September 29-30, 1941 have murdered 34 thousand Jews in Babiy Yar in Kiev. In 1943 he joined the Nazi SS Galizia division where died in 1944.

monument to Nazi war criminal Martin Mizerniy in his native village in Ukraine, participated in the murder of 10, 000 Jews of Sanok and many Poles while in UPA.

Monument to war criminal Oleksa Demsky from Nachtigal and 201st Shutzmannshaft, took part in mass murders of Jews. Chief of OUN SB in Rohatyn district, perpetrator of mass killings of Poles. Arrested in 1954, revealed location of money and gold robbed from killed Jews and Poles.

Monument to the Nazi war criminal and Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Lynnik, the mass murdered of Jews during Holocaust in Volyn area and perpetrator of Volyn massacre – mass murders of Poles in 1943-44 while he was serving in OUN-UPA.

Update: The archived links seem to work on my phone. Let me know if you have any problem opening the links.

  2. @Michael So, the New York Times, the Economist, the BBC, the U.N. and Human Rights Watch before last year were all Russian propaganda outfits? Seriously? 😀

You may recall, I changed my position when I saw the BBC live coverage from 2014 thanks to Felix, I believe.

But, the things you have been posting are like what you said about your grandchildren to Peloni. Cartoons, simulations or just somebody, who I don’t know, talking, speculating or making unsupported assertions.

However, Peloni, the links to the articles on Twitter you just cited have been erased so if you could find and post them again, that would be good.

  3. Hi, Peloni. Good morning to you. I see you’ve cut/pasted several articles about Nazi war criminals. I have no idea who these people are, nor why you want to make some sort of memorial to them here.

What can I say? Sometimes my grandchildren would show me a picture of something they’ve made, and I say something like,

“Oh, how beautiful! What is it?”

Then they would very carefully speak some childish words of “explanation”, none of which I imagine had any real meaning; but we would have a wonderful time, just talking with one another. I imagine something like that is happening here. So,

“Thank you, Peloni. That was a very pretty Nazi. Now Grandpa has to go do something”.

BTW, you DO know what that picture was about that I posted, don’t you? It was a little girl laying yellow flowers, tied with blue ribbons (Ukrainian national colors) at an impromptu memorial in Moscow, in honor of the dozens of innocent people the Russians had killed in a recent bombing. Every time the Russian police see the flowers getting to be too much, they clear them away.

Do you understand what that’s all about?

  4. @Michael

there is a new spontaneous memorial after the strikes of the Russian army

When you mention memorials and Ukraine in the same sentence, it reminded me of other war memorials in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian ?? Foreign Ministry has created an operational headquarters to help Ukrainians in Israel

There are no Ukrainian citizens among those injured as a result of the fighting. The Ukrainian embassy is in constant contact with the Israeli authorities and major hospitals. Diplomats have the situation under control.

  6. Peloni,

Amuse yourself any way you want. I’m not interested in trying to figure you ouit at the moment.

Attendees at an outdoor party near Kibbutz Urim in the South of Israel recounted terrifying moments of gunshots, prompting immediate evacuation: “We heard gunshots and began fleeing instantly. We are still in hiding.”

Earlier on Saturday, dozens of terrorists unexpectedly crossed from the Gaza Strip into Israel. It appears some reached the outdoor gathering and unleashed gunfire on the unsuspecting party-goers near Urim, a kibbutz situated in the north-western Negev, roughly 9 kilometers from the city of Ofakim.

Eyewitness accounts and emerging videos from the scene depict attendees scrambling to safety, with security forces subsequently escorting some to a southern base. There is growing apprehension about the possibility of numerous casualties.

One of the attendees, Daniel, relayed his harrowing experience to Walla!: “We were alerted by a ‘red siren’ [rocket warning]. Chaos ensued, especially with vehicles trying to exit. Then the gunshots started, and we began to run. We’re still hiding and awaiting rescue.”

I take that as an ad hominem attack,

It was not meant as such, so accept my apology if you took it this way. You have however repeatedly displayed imagery of dead Russians with not greater context than you have here. If it is not amusement that causes you to post these images, and I accept your word that it is not, please explain why you are posting them.

Then you say what I posted is not true. Then I provide graphic, direct, irrefutable photographic evidence, and you accuse me of being “distasteful”

Again this explains nothing. Your “graphic direct irrefutable photographic evidence” is of Ukrainians slaughtering Russians. What do you believe this actually proves. I would seriously like to understand you purpose in sharing these photos.

If you have no explanation for sharing such photos, perhaps you will not do so again without explaining why.

Also, you failed to explain why you hate the Russians as much as you do, which is no slander, but just a question.

  8. Sebastien,

@Michael That’s all Ukrainian Propaganda. You need to provide verifiable objective sources to be taken seriously.

See my latest post to Peloni, which is precisely about comments like yours. You two repeatedly cite Russian propaganda, to which I respond. Then you say what I posted is not true. Then I provide graphic, direct, irrefutable photographic evidence, and you accuse me of being “distasteful”

I don’t know what you see yourselves as, but you come across as “distasteful, visceral, lying scum”. What am I to say to that?

  9. Peloni,

with what comes across as something of a delight to do. I find your inclination to do so quite distasteful. Why do you hate the Russians with such a visceral regard?

I take that as an ad hominem attack, and plead with Ted to deal with such outrageous remarks.

I see repeated posts by you, Ted and Sebastien, which implicitly or explicitly state that they have never seen evidence of Russian atrocities in Ukraine; and I have made an effort to provide this. In return, you conltinually slander me.

  10. @Sebastien

Is there any published research on who in the Congress and administration, not to mention the conglomerates who own the legacy media are getting kickbacks?

Sadly no. This is because the Congress, being such deceptive stewards of the public’s money, have refused to allow any oversight of the money being sent to Ukraine, and hope to evade the detectin of the funds being sent sideways back to their own pockets, and those of their children/politcal and media allies.

There being said, however, DOD Inspector General Storch has the authority to pursue whatever investigations he cares to investigate., even without Congress instructing him to do so, as this is his duty in that role. Consequently, we will have to see if this dog will hunt or if he will simply roll over. Til he acts, there will be no accountability and no documentation of the crimes which are clearly ongoing.

  11. @Michael That’s all Ukrainian Propaganda. You need to provide verifiable objective sources to be taken seriously.

  12. @Michael
I don’t see the Russians as the enemy which you see them to be, but even if I did consider them as such, I would not relish in sharing images of their war wracked bodies or their tortured battlefield executions as you have repeated done with what comes across as something of a delight to do. I find your inclination to do so quite distasteful. Why do you hate the Russians with such a visceral regard?

  13. Inside Ukraine’s assassination programme
Its agents have become expert in dark revenge. But some worry a clear strategy is absent

“The operation was a month in the making. Yevhen Yunakov, the mayor of Velykyi Burluk, in the Kharkiv region, had been identified as a collaborator with the Russians. “Caucasus”, a special-forces commander, and a group of local officers were given the job. His men watched their target meticulously for days: when he shopped; when and where he moved; the extent of his security. Once they detonated their bomb, from a distance, they disappeared to safe-houses inside occupied territory. The group would return to Ukrainian-controlled territory only weeks later, after the town had been liberated. Yunakov’s body has never been found.”

  14. @Adam (and later, Peloni) Uh huh. That’s what they said would happen if we left Vietnam. As for Taiwan, we couldn’t defend Taiwan now because we’ve depleted our own weapons stores funding still another pointless war (except for military contractors.

@Peloni, Is there any published research on who in the Congress and administration, not to mention the conglomerates who own the legacy media are getting kickbacks?)

    Putin’s ultimate aim: Forever War

Really? Is that why you think Russia wanted to join NATO?

Russia’s ultimate aim is, luckily enough, not Forever War, but rather geopolitical security. Failing this, war will do. Unfortuantely his opponents in NATO and the US leadership are the experts on Forever Wars, having successfully lost several of them now.

  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjTR6aLtWFY&t=237s. This post by someone who call himself Mr, Z explains, better than I could, why if the U.S. cuts and runs out of the Ukraine, the U.S. will lose its status as a great power. A country that keeps deserting its allies and allowing them to be defeated by their enemies will not be respected in the world and will have little or no influence outside its borders The American people, who may support a U.S. withdrawal. at first, when they see the terrible suffering of the Ukrainian people as the Russians complete their conquest. They will blame the party that decided to abandon Ukraine. Also the. loss of influence and credibility abroad will severely damage the U.S. economy, and that it turn will increase the likelihood of a civil war within the United States,
