T. Belman. Wouldn’t that be nice. Who better than Bolton to take on Iran and North Korea?
John Bolton Blasts Trump’s New North Korea Sanctions as Worthless
On Tuesday, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton met with President Trump.
Rumors have been swirling that national security advisor H.R. McMaster may leave his post, and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is rumored to be on tenuous ground. Bolton tweeted on Tuesday:
Bolton is considered a true hawk on foreign policy; he has served as Assistant Secretary for International Organization Affairs at the State Department from 1989-1993, where he coordinated the effort to rescind the United Nations resolution from the 1970s that equated Zionism with racism, and also was key in the efforts of the U.S. Mission to obtain U.N. resolutions endorsing the use of force to fight Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait. Between 1985-1989 he served as Assistant Attorney General at the Department of Justice.
Absolutely! This man should have been US Sec of State, but anywhere would be a terrific appointment.
@ Roberto Edery:
Assistant Attorney General? Gosh, he would be perfect as Special Counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton. Wherever Trump puts him – hopefuly yesterday – will be great, to replace the Islam-lover McMaster or the useless Tillerson. Let’s hope it will be one of the first two.
