  1. Time and again, as the Iranian people have moved against their govt over the years, their efforts have been left to wither and fade under their own support without the access to even a fraction of a fraction of the international support which was applied against Afghanistan or Iraq. The efforts of the Persian people to throw off their yoke of tyranny should have been supported by the West, as the Iranian Mullahs have set their regime on a path of destruction over the West. The absolute conviction expressed by these women who are targeted, collected, beaten and murdered for the simplest of transgressions is intimidating. I only hope to see their desires of a better life come to fruition as the West sits idly by watching in silent support of their domination by the Mullahs, even as they call for investigations into the death of a single reporter caught in a combat zone in Jenin. The distinction with which this selective interest of feminist interests by the West is most revealing. As the recent reports of targeted shooting of women in the head and genitals by this barbaric regime has recently emerged, the international silence continues and their guilt by association and political malfeasance grows. The Persian people are an ancient people, rich in history and accomplishment. I look forward to see them throw off the control of the tyrants overseeing them, even as the West remains quiescent, distracted and complicit in subjugation of the Iranians who seem to not be relenting in their quest for a return of their freedoms.
