Key advisor/spokesman to Zelensky, Oleksiy Arestovich, resigns after announcing to the world that the missile that hit a building in Dnipro and killed some 40 people was a Russian missile which had been shot down by Ukraine, revealing that the building was not targeted by Russia. Arestovich tried to withdraw his statement, but the damage to Ukrainian propaganda had been done, and the king’s jester must go. Following the collection of a number of signatures from the Ukrainian parlaiment and demands by others, Arestovich tendered his resignation.
Russian claiming Soledar has fallen, threatening the supply lines in Bahkmut. Ukrainians have fallen back to take up the final line of defense along Sloviansk and Kramatorsk in the Dombas. Once this falls, presuming it will fall – which I do presume will occur – Ukraine will have lost the whole of Dombas.
