The Attempt to Overthrow America

by Guy Millière, GATESTONE INSTITUTE

The wave of riots that has followed the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25 appears to have nothing to do with Floyd’s death and everything to do with groups seeking to overthrow America. Mayors of many cities and other local officials have deliberately protected criminals over law-abiding citizens and allowed the destruction to take place. • The situation had become “worrying,” in fact, even before the results of the 2016 presidential election were known. As we now can read in the Department of Justice report by Michael Horowitz, the senior levels of government during the Obama Administration were colluding to prevent President Trump from winning the election, and then, after it, to frame him in an attempted coup d’état.
  • Mayors of many cities and other local officials have deliberately protected criminals over law-abiding citizens and allowed the destruction to take place.

  • “I thought things were partisan and tough 30 years ago — nothing compared to today. Things have fundamentally changed… [the left] represents a revolutionary Rousseauian party that believes in tearing down the system… They’re interested in complete political victory. They’re not interested in compromise. They’re not interested in dialectic, exchange of views… It’s a substitute religion. They view their political opponents… as evil because we stand in the way of their progressive utopia that they’re trying to reach…” — US Attorney General William Barr, Fox News, August 9, 2020.
  • “Today our nation is facing the most serious threat to establish such a tyranny in our entire history.” — David Horowitz, Frontpage Mag, August 10, 2020.

The death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25, 2020 might appear, looking back, as a pretext for mayhem. His reported killing by a white police officer was immediately followed by a wave of riots during which neighborhoods in several major cities were devastated. Stores were looted, buildings were burned and people were murdered as mayors and other local public officials chose to let the rioters run wild, whip up racial conflict and protect the criminals rather than the citizens being brutalized. The riots quickly appeared to have nothing to do with Floyd’s death and everything to do with groups seeking to overthrow America.

In the past, members of the radical organization Antifa had committed acts of violence, but never before had been able to sow terror throughout major cities. This time, they could and they did.

In addition, the Marxist movement Black Lives Matter (BLM), which seemed to have disappeared since the election of President Donald J. Trump — who, incidentally, did more for the black and Hispanic minority communities in three years than anyone had done for decades — suddenly reappeared, well-funded and well-organized, at the heart of the riots. BLM received further support from the mayors of several major cities and gained even more popularity while attacking first the statues of former slave-owners, such as George Washington, and then those of the escaped slave and abolitionist Frederick Douglass. In Washington, DC and New York City, “Black Lives Matter” was painted on avenues in huge yellow letters – in New York by the mayor himself.

This may have been the first time in US history that a Marxist movement received corporate support: Amazon, Microsoft, Nabisco, Gatorade, Deckers and other large American firms donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, now a major beneficiary of US corporate largesse. Many colleges and universities also joined in backing the movement. The trustees of Princeton University decided to remove Woodrow Wilson’s name from the university’s school of public policy. They said that they had examined the “long and damaging history of racism in America” and that Wilson’s “racist thinking and policies make him an inappropriate namesake for a school or college”. Calls to “#CancelYale” surged across social media, alleging that Yale’s namesake, Elihu Yale, was a slave-owner and slave-trader, and that the university must change its name, as well. Yale University President, Peter Salovey, however, said that would not be done, explaining that Yale was “relatively unexceptional in his own time.”

Also for the first time, mayors of many cities and other local officials have deliberately protected criminals over law-abiding citizens and allowed the destruction to take place. Seattle’s Mayor Jenny Durkan abandoned an entire area of ??the city, dubbed CHAZ (and later CHOP) to rioters and suggested that the police-free zone would create a “summer of love“, then did nothing while rapesvandalism and murders took place. Portland’s Mayor Ted Wheeler has allowed for nearly three months an entire district fall prey to rioters. The city councils of New York and Los Angeles, America’s two largest cities, voted to cut the budgets of their police forces drastically. The Minneapolis City Council went even further and voted to disband the city’s police force altogether.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, in a seeming surrender to the mob, began referring to the pandemonium in Portland as the “immense power of peaceful protests” and compared federal law enforcement officers trying to defend a federal building against marauding arsonists to Nazi-era “stormtroopers.”

Former President Barack Obama, speaking at the funeral of a civil rights leader, Congressman John Lewis, compared President Trump to the segregationist governor of Alabama in the 1960s, George Wallace — who happened to be a Democrat. He spoke of “police officers kneeling on the necks of Black Americans,” distorting the facts. In Minneapolis, a single policeman had knelt on the neck of a single black American, once. The police officer is in jail, awaiting trial, and his abuse has been severely and universally condemned.

The idea that the American police are “racist” has been used to justify riots and destruction. Some police officers may well be racist, but accusing all American police officers of racism does not align with the facts. Statistics show that the vast majority of black people killed by police officers are armed and dangerous. Moreover, the police officers involved are sometimes black. Statistics also show that, on average, 94% of the black people killed each year in the US are killed by other black people. But many people who talk about racism do not seem even slightly concerned about those black lives that have been taken. During the riots — in which people were killed by rioters or by looters who used the riots as cover — the main victims were black people, sometimes children.

  1. @ Michael S:

Michael, thank you for taking the trouble. You may have misread my comment. I already HAVE a source close by. I think I mentioned it in my original post.. Walmart Online has a wide variety of Oxymeters at from about $12 to 25, with free delivery. I know their results are not absolutely accurate, but close enough withing 1-2%. 95-100% is the expected normal for a healthy person, and below 95 is a cause to enquire further.

    Again, thank you.

  2. @ Reader:

That’s a very good observation-under normal circumstances and with a normal person. But the particular lunatic that’s “possessed” of de spirrut uv de lawd, doesn’t need to howl at the moon, -although if he had a dog, they may do a duet. . He does his howling-really spewing- all over this site in a frenzy of religious mania. I’ve met people like him before ..and eventually they would be certified, and, in the old days would be locked away, but with modern meds, guys like our “servint” are allowed to mix with the population, get married and have kids. I suspect that when his religious spasms come over him, he’s gone off his meds. Just a guess, but sounds likely to me.

Did you have any thoughts on what I wrote about blood (or pulse) oxymeters, measuring the oxygen content of blood cells, and that the virus attacks these cells much before any symptoms would show, perhaps even before a test would show, although I haven’t found anything on this. I’m very poor at internet research. The cursed system picks up on a couple of words in my heading, and tells me lots about what I DON’T want to know, and very little of what I wish…

I think it’s worth while getting an oxymeter, (as I am) and check yourself every day. they’re very cheap, less than $25. Walmart online has a big selection.

  3. The full moon.
The next time everyone here gets into a religious fight let’s check whether the moon is full again.
    I suspect it will be.

  4. @ Reader:
    Hi, Reader. You said,

“you’ve been trying to live a contradiction by actually trying to think when you are not supposed to and thus making your life miserable (at least every now and then).”

It’s not as miserable as you think. I even got to see an old friend last fall, whom I hadn’t seen for nearly 30 years. I found out he’s thought the way I do all that time. Of course, he’d spent most of his life being treated like a “heretic”, He had just found out he had terminal cancer, and died a few months later. I wouldn’t trade having seen his face, for all the gold in Fort Knox.

BTW the moon was practically full again tonight, rising just an hour or two after a very bright Jupiter.

  5. @ Michael S:

This is all crap. I suppose that in your “fervour” you don’t realise that the “proofs” you rely so heavily on, are from the spurious Gospels account of the Crucifixion, involving High Priests, “Trials”, and the other rubbish. You’re like a canine returning to its vomitus.

You vomit over israpundit. And I’m not even sure you can stop….when the
“spirit” comes over you. You just go on and on endlessly.-like a river of rubbish.

  6. @ Michael S:

I certainly am NOT G-D Forbid. We have enough religious mashuggenas already. I merely pointed out that with your obsessive, “avowed” adherence to the Torah, that’s what you should have done and your conscience would be clear, instead of squeezing vicarious soothing down, by pouring out your crap; at every opportunity comparing an ancient event or saying with a present or coming happening….which is too ridiculous for mere words to express. And what impels your quotes from the equally fictitious gospels..? Torah…? No in any way…..!!!

You just have a bucket full of screws loose on religion. Believing in the Torah, does NOT bring you adoration to a mythical Jesus. Not in ANY way. Quite in the opposite direction.

    So…are you schitzophrenic…?

  7. @ Bear Klein:

Yes. True, but I don’t tell him how to operate his site, not should you. He’ll step in when he thinks the posts have become totally irrelevant to the topic. My contributions are very minor by comparison with rivers of Ezekiel, and NT garbage from De Servint uv de lawd which I abhor more than you can understand, having grown up in a heavily Jew-Hating country with experiences you wouldn’t believe. .. .De guy always seems to segue into his crappy pseudo Holy Roller, end of the world rubbish.
If he wants to know how his kind of “prophesy” works, he should read a biography on Nostradamus, and the 400 year cycle.

I can find Yamit 82’s responding and debunking only profound and enjoyable.
And de saviour posts it on here, so if I want to respond, there’s no point in my going to chit chat because of the lack of continuity.

  8. @ Michael S:
Michael, I hope you realize that aside from Nestorians (an East Assyrian Church) and maybe another group or two, your views are considered heretical by mainstream Christianity.
Christian views are such an incredible illogical mess that you can be a heretic no matter what you think, so it is better not to think and just repeat what you’ve been told.
A thinking Christian is a contradiction in terms.
Sorry for saying that but you’ve been trying to live a contradiction by actually trying to think when you are not supposed to and thus making your life miserable (at least every now and then).

  9. @ Michael S:
“an elite “upper echelon” against the rest” you are correct except it is not just any upper echelon but the richest few (VERY FEW) who honestly believe that they are gods who have the right to treat mankind the same way a computer programmer treats his database:
by deleting, adding, changing, manipulating the data at will any way that suits his purposes (or the purposes of his employer).
I don’t care about the spiritual source of it, I just want them to stop playing God.

  10. @ yamit82:
Yamit, I see you’re back to bore me and the others with your commentary. Let’s get into it:

“‘I and the Father are One.’” (John 10:30); and
“‘… the Father is in me, and I [am in] in the Father.’” (John 10:38); and
“‘Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me …’” (John 14:11); and

    Read also,

    John.17
[11] And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Are you “one” with me on this? Or do you yet disagree?

“you can’t believe Jesus is Son of God and also Jesus is God, choose one…”

I choose “Jesus is the son”, as per Psalms:

    Pss.2
[7] I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

It is impossible for Messiah (of whom David was prophesying) to be the Messiah and NOT be God’s adoptive son. That is why the JEWS identified Messiah as “the Son of God”

“…and God (not Jesus, and not “God the Father”, but God, the one and only) is Messiah’s father (and therefore Jesus’)

    Mark 14
[61] But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

Can you get that? or is it too hard for you? Go ask your rabbi, if you’re having trouble.

“if you believe that Jesus is God (Trinity)…”

Stop there. I don’t, and I’ve told you this many times.

“On or whether Jesus is also God Himself, i1s evidenced by the following passages:
“… the one and only Son, who is Himself God …” (John 1:18)”

You have a faulty translation. Mine (KJV) says,

“[18] No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

There’s a vast difference between being “in the bosom of God” and being God.

““‘Very truly I tell you,’ Jesus answered, ‘before [the Hebrew Patriarch] Abraham was born, I am!’” (John 8:58)”

I haven’t found Christian who can tell me with a straight face that he understands that verse. I certainly don’t understand it, and neither do you. At any rate, it says nothing about Jesus being God.

“[The apostle] Thomas said to him [the resurrected Jesus], ‘My Lord and my God!’” (John 20:28).

Both “lord” and “god” are titles of great respect, for humans as well as the One Deity.

“the notion that any human being (including Jesus) is — or could be — God Incarnate was long ago repudiated by God Himself, Who demonstrated and emphasized to the Jewish people that He is Incorporeal, to wit: (OT ref.)”
“Moreover, the Hebrew Bible explicitly declares that God is not a person (OT ref.)”

No kidding. Did you think I didn’t know this?

“The Hebrew Bible makes it clear that the Jewish people do not require any supernatural intermediary between themselves and God.”

You need a great deal more than you think you (Yamit) do. Jesus is not “super-” natural. He is and was VERY natural, and you’d better believe it or you are antichrist:

    2John.1
[7] For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

    and,

    Rom.1
[1] Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
[2] (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
    [3] Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
[4] And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

I think that answers you well enough. By the way, your doctrine is essentially the same as people I know of the Plymouth Brethren background (Edgar knows this sort well — he married one). I can talk to them until the cows come home, citing scripture after scripture. They invariably ignore my answer, and demand another answer of me. Eventually, they run out of scriptures, and start the list all over again, as though I had never said anything. Nevertheless, a final scripture — for you, the Plymouth Brethren, and all others of their ilk:

    John 3
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

GOD (not “God the Father”) gave (as in, “allowed him to be killed”. Gods are not killed; humans are)

    his unique

(for that is what the Greek actually means, for Jesus was unique in that there is no other Messiah/Christ)

“SON” (therefore Jesus is NOT God, and cannot be)

“that whosoever believeth in (trusts in) him…” which certainly doesn’t include you; you don’t seem to trust anyone.

God bless and keep you and yours 🙂

  11. @ Edgar G.:
Edgar, you’re the one that was telling me to get circumcized and convert to Judaism. On the other hand, I certainly don’t want to proselytize you — you might end up going to heaven, and boring everyone for eternity (God forbid!).

  12. @ Bear Klein:

Boring..I thoroughly agree…boring…like woodworm. But what can you do when you have a religious maniac who keeps pouring it out. I resent it deeply, this insidious attempt to “proselytize”.

  13. Michael S Said:

Before you go on spouting off lies and nonesense, at least take the time to find out to whom you’re talking and about what.

“I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30)

you can’t believe Jesus is Son of God and also Jesus is God, choose one… if you believe that Jesus is God (Trinity) then you indirectly denying Jesus is Son of God, you are deceived without realizing it..

On or whether Jesus is also God Himself, i1s evidenced by the following passages:

“… the one and only Son, who is Himself God …” (John 1:18); and

“‘Very truly I tell you,’ Jesus answered, ‘before [the Hebrew Patriarch] Abraham was born, I am!’” (John 8:58); and

“‘I and the Father are One.’” (John 10:30); and

“‘… the Father is in me, and I [am in] in the Father.’” (John 10:38); and

“‘Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me …’” (John 14:11); and

“[The apostle] Thomas said to him [the resurrected Jesus], ‘My Lord and my God!’” (John 20:28).

the notion that any human being (including Jesus) is — or could be — God Incarnate was long ago repudiated by God Himself, Who demonstrated and emphasized to the Jewish people that He is Incorporeal, to wit:

“‘And HaShem spoke unto you out of the midst of the Fire; a Voice of Words you heard, but you saw no Form — only a Voice. … And you should beware greatly for your souls — for, you saw no manner of Form on the Day that HaShem spoke unto you at [Mount] Horeb out of the midst of the Fire — lest you will act corruptly by making for yourselves a graven image, even the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female.’” (Deuteronomy 4:12 & 4:15-16)

Moreover, the Hebrew Bible explicitly declares that God is not a person, to wit:

“‘God is not a human being …’” (Numbers 23:19); and

    “‘… He [God] is not a human being …’” (I Samuel 15:29)

The Hebrew Bible makes it clear that the Jewish people do not require any supernatural intermediary between themselves and God. As declared by the Gentile prophet Balaam concerning the Children of Israel:

“‘It is God [Himself] Who brought them [the tribal descendants of Jacob who are called the Children of Israel] out of Egypt according to the Power of His Loftiness. For, there is no [need to use] Divination in Jacob and no [need to use] Sorcery in Israel [in order to achieve Communion with God]; now it is said [directly] to Jacob and Israel what God has wrought [for them].’” (Numbers 23:22-23)

And as the Hebrew Bible later imparts to the Jewish people:

“Close is HaShem to all who call upon Him; to all that will truly call upon Him.” (Psalms 145:18); and

“Say unto them [the Jewish people]: ‘Thus said HaShem, Master of Legions: “Return unto Me — the Oration of Hashem, Master of Legions — and I will return unto you” said HaShem, Master of Legions.’” (Zechariah 1:3)

It is axiomatic that Christianity seeks to know God, not only through an intentionally-flawed translation of the Hebrew Bible, but also through the “New Testament”; and, in cases of conflict between the Hebrew Bible and the “New Testament”, the latter prevails in the eyes of Christians simply because that Scripture is deemed by Christianity to be the corrective and final Word of God. Accordingly, to the extent that the Christian Bible distorts the Attributes, Message and Expectations of the God of Israel, it does not describe our God at all but another deity entirely — and it is this latter deity that Christianity recognizes and to which Christians pray.

Consequently, we Jews cannot possibly accept the postulate that the deity depicted in the “New Testament” and the God of Israel are one and the same — or that, after so thorough a baptism in the falsehoods of the “New Testament”, Christians (even those who do not worship Jesus as a god) nevertheless pray to the God of Israel.

Ironically, Christianity unintentionally declares this very Truth about itself: “For the time will come when people will no longer accept sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they [the people] will gather around them a great number of teachers who will say what their [the people’s] itching ears want to hear. They [the people] will turn their ears away from the Truth and turn aside to Myths.” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

  14. @ Reader:
    Concerning your addendum,

“Has it occurred to you that if the economy keeps deteriorating, the military (and I don’t mean the upper echelons) might join the masses?”

Of course it has occurred to me! I was in a top secret branch of the US Army, when I cavorted with ultra-radical revolutionaries. Those was the final years of our involvement in Vietnam; and the miltary was plagued with insubordination, demonstrations and murders of NCOs and officers. Be careful, though, when you use the word “masses”. Humanity is indeed an immense mass of tethered together, easily manipulated individuals, but it can be swayed one way as well as another by clever and powerful manipulators. In 1972, America voted overwhelmingly in support of Richard Nixon. Two years later, they hated and opposed him.

  15. @ Reader:
    Hi, Reader. You said,

” – and who knows where they come from”

Unfortunately, I have a good hunch where they came from. My daughter in China despises President Trump; my son is extremely radical in his worldview. Our closest friend over the years (who nevertheless has a religious tiff with me concerning my Jewish theology) has a son and daughter the same age as ours, and they are both in a similar political place. Another couple close to us is sharply divided politically, with the mom and children very radical, and the husband and his mother very conservative.

What I’m saying, is that in some odd way, this new nihilist, globalist, new world order mania somehow points to ME! If I could end this madness, I would offer myself up to be crucified; but this has been done already by someone much more worthy.

I’m not joking — this is downright spooky. Consider the places I’ve lived most of my life: Wisconsin, California and Oregon — all of them epicenters of this violent plague. In my twenties, in fact, I was myself a radical; but my spiritual and religious conversion led to a political one. In 1972, I voted for the Communist Party USA candidate, seeing him as not the ideal candidate because he was not radical enough.

Bearing all this in mind, yes, I view this problem in terms of “Dems/Reps, Communists/Capitalists, government/rioters, spiritual/non-spiritual false dichotomies”. My family includes a daughter and grandchildren living in Communist China, so of course I see a “Communist/Capitalist” dichotomy. This is not theoretical; it is deeply personal. In the states where I live and have lived, there is no “government/rioters” dichotomy: the two are one and the same, and they are active in my own neighborhood. The “Dems/Reps” dichotomy cleanly and sharply divides family and close friends along the lines of this conflict.

As for the “spiritual/non-spiritual fase (doctrine) dichotomy”, of course this is very important to me (bear in mind my profound spritual conversion as a young man); but it may not fall along lines you are familiar with. Just couching it in denominational terms, for which you can get statistics, you might be surprized that most of our dear friends who are sharply divided on these matters are Evangelical Christians with a “Pentecostal” mindset. This group contains the most pro-Zionist, pro-Israel and frankly, pro-Jewish part of Christianity. We also seem to have spawned some of the most virulent anarchists.

I personally don’t see any contradiction in this; but you and others might find it strange. If you do, notice that the Jewish people are likewise divided. In both cases, we are under severe attack — not by any “1%” or “deep state”; but by one who wishes to destroy both groups AND the Bible AND, in the end, humanity itself. Of course, this is HaSatan himself.

With that in mind, here is how I view your worldview — which, pardon me if I’m wrong, seems to be an elite “upper echelon” against the rest. Certainly this is a division, a deep division in society; but division itself, whether fueled by greed, envy, hatred or fear, is merely a tool of the Wicked One. Ultimately, he does not want us divided; he wants us joining him in a death of eternal torment.

  16. @ Michael S:
Has it occurred to you that if the economy keeps deteriorating, the military (and I don’t mean the upper echelons) might join the masses?
What else are they going to do? Shoot their own starving relatives on their commanders’ say so?
As far as the Chinese, the Russians, and “other enemies” – they don’t have either the desire or capacity to do what you think they are dying to do. REALLY.
I hope the PTB are not planning to come out of this with another “quick and victorious” world war (just like the last time) but I think that my hope is wearing thin.

  17. @ Michael S:
You and I are talking about the same thing (a civil war results not only in neighbors attacking neighbors but in brothers attacking (and even killing) each other) but you keep pounding on these Dems/Reps, Communists/Capitalists, government/rioters, spiritual/non-spiritual false dichotomies.
My thesis is that the richest couple of % who own the government are riling up the people (by, among other things, financing the BLM rioters – who, it seems, are mostly white – and who knows where they come from) so that different factions, driven by fear and loathing, turn on each other instead of “petitioning the Government for a redress of grievances” (or worse) as they are entitled to by the Constitution, or even creating militias to secure for themselves a free State, God forbid.

  18. @ Reader:
“Things are going great for the powers-that-be: the people are splitting in different camps who hate each other and are getting ready to kill their neighbors.”

Many people and groups (such as Antifa and BLM) profit, or rather think they profit, from hatred, fear and violence. Though many seem to struggle with this idea, it’s a no-brainer for me. What I AM concerned about, is the spiritual aspect of this that some on Israpundit not only don’t see, but scoff at. To the power that actually orchestrates these things, profit is not a motive: power over people’s souls is: Hatred kills the hater, and Fear kills the dreader; and in these end times, hatred and fear are inflaming one another. They’re like two mountains that repeatedly crash into each other; and each time they crash, souls fall into the grave and the devils rejoice.

Things in the US have the potential to get MUCH worse than merely “neighbors killing neighbors”. Unless God forbid it, the US can be torn apart by a civil war that will utterly destroy it.

I had a dream the other day, in which I saw a US ship, a destroyer or frigate (the latter exist only in dreams), broken in two yet still afloat. The bow was in what seemed like Newport News, VA, and was under US government control. The stern was around New York, and was in rebel hands. I didn’t even see the West Coast (or “Left Coast”, as many call it).

You might imagine what will happen to the naval bases on the Pacific Coast: In Seattle-Bremerton, the SF Bay, Long Beach and San Diego: all Democrat-controlled cities in Democrat-controlled states. A good part of the crews are from Blue states, and many probably have relationships with the radical locals. Those bases would become useless, through mutiny, sabotage and attack from the locals. All of this will become an invitation for the Chinese, Russians and other enemies, to come as “peacekeepers”. This would be playing with nuclear fire; but our enemies are up to it.

So much for dreams and nightmares — nightmares that seem to be getting closer to reality with every passing day; but my wife and I are steadfast in prayer against such.

  19. @ Michael S:
I am pretty sure that if not for the lockdowns, social distancings, and muzzlings this would never have happened, Floyd or not.
Things are going great for the powers-that-be: the people are splitting in different caps who hate each other and are getting ready to kill their neighbors.

  20. In Green Bay, Wisconsin today,

“An Antifa leader known as Commander Red was busted carrying a flamethrower to a Wisconsin Black Lives Matter rally — and “dropped into the fetal position and began crying” when stopped by cops, officials said.

    https://nypost.com/2020/09/02/antifa-commander-with-flamethrower-cried-when-he-was-arrested/

“Commander Red”, 23, is a white guy with complexion problems.

Does anyone see what’s going on? Most of this movement seems to consist of White GenXers and Millenials, who have gone through a school system that has kicked out God, teaches abortion and homosexuality to grade schoolers, and teaches America-, Jew- and Christ- hatred instead of history. Some of their number have grown up and learned about taking responsibility; but these others are “lost at sea”. When cornered, those that aren’t complete psychopaths curl up and whimper.

This stuff started LONG before Donald Trump even ran for President.

  21. @ Reader:

Beautiful shot of the Corn Moon, Reader. My wife and I sat on our balcony last night to watch it, while sipping tea and eating popcorn. One object not in the photo, because it was too small to be seen was Asteroid 2011 ES4. It passed somewhere between the airplane and the moon.

  22. Odd, how I seem to have to go to the overseas press to get coverage of events in my home state. This is from the UK:

Here’s something that might tie things together:

Seattle protester arrested in DC had traveled from riots in Portland, Kenosha

    https://nypost.com/2020/09/02/protester-arrested-in-dc-had-traveled-from-riots-in-portland-kenosha/

These rioters are definitely not locals. IMO, they have crossed state lines to commit crimes.

  23. Today (Sept. 2nd in the US) is the FULL MOON.
I am wondering whether Michael is more prone to quote The Scripture during the full moon.
I’ve noticed that there seems to be a pattern to his outbursts.
It would be interesting to research this.

  24. @ Bear Klein:
Bear, you’ll notice that I was keeping track, as was Yamit who started with the commentary, and Edgar who repeatedly interrupted with his ego trips.

If you want to see the “attempt to overthrow America” in technicolor, come to Oregon (if you’re not already there) or Wisconsin — both of which are, along with California, places I have spent most of my life. Here in Oregon, we have suffered months of non-stop rioting, with the state and local governments in complicity.

This stuff immediately impacts my wife and I, our friends and their families — so we pray, continually, while the likes of Edgar see fit to mock us. He feels secure on Vancouver Island, protected by the RCMP. I am glad for him and his security; but if he thinks we need additional sniping here, he’s wrong.

  25. The article was about

    The Attempt to Overthrow America

These religious commentary or arguments I think are off topic and boring!

  26. @ Michael S:

Well.. servint uv de lawd… Them wat can..brags..and dem wat can’t, criticizes.

I suggest that you get up from your camel hooved knees and see your doctor. You are seeing things that are not there. ….like my regarding HASHEM as a sun god… Delusions are a sign of mental unbalance. so make sure you use 2 walking sticks, to try to make a straight path (not in the wilderness) to your medico (I presume he’s mental specialist). Do you also hear people “crying out”…?

  27. @ Edgar G.:
Edgar, I know you think of Hashem as a “sun god”; but please don’t brag about it. You have let it be known, over and over, that you don’t believe in Torah; so now you are figuratively bragging about the condition of your penis. Get a life!

  28. @ Michael S:
Talking about babies, you should have had it on the 8th day…. THEN you’d be a full fledged member, instead of a cultic follower of a sun god mystic adaptation.

I suppose you think that your constant quoting of texts that you don’t really understand, will have a subtle influence on Jewish readers and lean them “your” way..

    G-D Forbid.

  29. Meanwhile, back in Oregon (which seems to be an epicenter of the news lately), the infamous Gov. Kate Brown, not content with the fact that a patriot was murdered under her watch because of her handcuffing the police, decided to double down:

“Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (D) signed a measure placing further restrictions on police use of force — an action that comes as authorities continue to face off with violent protesters in cities such as Portland.”

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/09/02/oregon-gov-kate-brown-signs-measure-restricting-police-use-of-force/

This comes on the heels of the Democrat Portland City Council, cutting funding to the police in the midst of a three-month string of nightly riots in the city:

“Portland City Council has passed a budget that takes $15 million away from the police bureau, after failing to get a unanimous vote last Thursday.”

    https://www.kgw.com/article/news/local/protests/defunding-portland-police-city-council-budget-15-million-cuts/283-239c5e3a-cfed-4dce-8775-d2c52a9df9aa

The BLM (=Antifa) “movement”, which in Oregon is becoming a “whites only” organization, is intent on overthrowing the state (and the US); and the Democratic Party is nothing more than it’s political arm.

  30. @ yamit82:
    Yamit, you said,

“I THINK YOUR BELIEF IN A FALSE DEITY…”

I believe in the God of Torah, Yud-hay-vav-hay, the ONLY true God; and I believe Jesus is and was a man (i.e. NOT God).

Before you go on spouting off lies and nonesense, at least take the time to find out to whom you’re talking and about what.

  31. @ yamit82:

VERY potent…. If our resident “S” doesn’t get to a mohel and have a little snipping done, and learn the REALTorah,-before it’s too late…….He’ll be so-rry. There is NOTHING like the sonorous and forceful words of Torah.

  32. @ Michael S:

A MESSAGE FROM THE GOD OF ISRAEL TO THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD:

“… ‘So said HaShem, “My Firstborn Son is Israel.”‘” (Exodus 4:22)

“O nations: Sing the praises of His People, for He will avenge the blood of His Servants; He will bring retribution upon His adversaries, and He will appease His Land [and] His People.” (Deuteronomy 32:43)

“Sacred is Israel unto HaShem, [being] the first of His Crop; all who devour it will be held Guilty; Evil shall come upon them — [this is] the Oration of HaShem.” (Jeremiah 2:3)

“For, behold, in those Days, and in that Time, when I shall reverse the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all of the nations, and I will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat [Valley of God’s Judgment]; and I will issue Judgment against them there concerning My People and My Heritage Israel, whom they have scattered amongst the nations, and My Land that they have divided [amongst themselves].” (Joel

I THINK YOUR BELIEF IN A FALSE DEITY (CONSIDERED TO BE PAGANISM IN JUDAISM) WILL NOT SAVE YOU AND YOUR FELLOW FOLLOWERS OF JESUS. A necessary byproduct of the Jewish people being collectively Chosen is that the Gentile nations, as a collective, will suffer God’s Wrath when they inevitably join together to oppress the Jewish nation (see Genesis 12:3; Numbers 24:8-9; Deuteronomy 32:43; Isaiah 52:10 & 59:17-21; Jeremiah 2:3; Ezekiel 38:3 – 39:6; Joel 4:1-2; and Zechariah 14:2-13; and Malachi 3:19-21). iN THE FINAL DAYS, ALL YOU GENTILES WILL FACE THE LORDS RETRIBUTION.

“For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those that shall escape.”
    Yoel 3:5 and Ovadia 1:17.

  33. Michael S Said:

Just how YOU read these signs of the times, is your own business. I just told you what those rioters made me think of: It was Zech. 14:13; and I am dismayed but not altogether surprized, to see it happening in my own state, among my own people.

THIS VERSE FROM THE TORAH DESTROYS THE BASIS OF CHRISTIANITY

“And HaShem said to Cain, ‘Why are you annoyed, and why has your countenance fallen? Surely, if you improve yourself, you will be forgiven. But if you do not improve yourself, Sin rests at the Door. Its desire is towards you; yet you can conquer it.'” (Genesis 4:6-7).

“A wise man’s heart [inclines] to his Right, while a fool’s heart [inclines] to his Left. Even on the way, as the fool proceeds, he lacks sense and proclaims to all that he is a fool.” (Ecclesiastes 10:2-3)

“As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.” (Proverbs 26:11)

  34. I think that our resident religious mashuggena (“S” stands for “Saviour” but he’s too modest to say so) Has been spending far too much time writing drek on this site, when much more prayer is needed. PRAY instead of preach……stay on your knees and let them become “camels feet” like those of your old pal James.

Think of all the needy, who are going without YOUR prayers, keep Zech-ing as fast as you can.

I heard that the world had ended two weeks ago last Tuesday. Did you catch cold waiting on the mountain top….as long as it wasn’t you-know-what..Did you give away all your possessions….including the 1/2 ton of toilet paper…? Let us know, and then get back to your praying “S”….. We need it, especially Yamit 82. He loves it… He can “walk rings around you” re Torah, and likely the NT as well. ………….”S”,

  35. @ yamit82:
Good morning (VERY early morning, here in Oregon!). You said,

“If they had succeeded and children died or were severely injured the election would be over in favor of Trump and most Republicans at that moment.”

I wish that were altogether true. Indeed, there HAS been a slight swing toward Trump and the Republicans, after some of the egregious shenanigans of the rioters; but the election isn’t over, and it goes on… and on…. Over 90 days so far, here in Oregon — not just in Portland, but in Oregon City, Bend, Springfield, Eugene and other places.

Concerning Zechariah 14:13, these things do NOT happen “a myriad” or even “thousands” of times. They happen only in very extreme times. Usually civil wars, like the current unrest is budding into, are between two sides only. Sometimes third and even fourth parties get involved, as in Yemen today as well — but even that is a sign of the times we are in. Zechariah said,

“they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.”

That is a picture of complete mayhem. Zechariah says it will be one of the signs of the final battle, when all the peoples of the earth shall turn against Israel and against Jerusalem (days like today, if you’re paying attention). This is what comes to mind to me, when I see the break-down of reason in Portland, as a direction that things are heading.

You might also find a resemblance to the interminable Jew-against-Jew fighting in Jerusalem, in the Zealot Uprising — which, in my humble opinion, was also a partial fulfillment of Zech. 14. In fact, as long as you’re already riled up, let’s try another scripture out for size, this one from the NT:

    Matt.16
[1] The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
[2] He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
[3] And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
[4] A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

Here’s another one, which speaks of what you noted about the wickedness of those rioters:

    Luke 16:
[31] And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

My wife and I have been praying earnestly for our family and friends, for our state, for our country, for the church and for the Jews. We pray every day for President Trump and for the election; we WANT him to get re-elected and defeat the feckless and lunatic Democrats; but frankly, even if Trump wins by a landslide, and carries away all of Congress and dozens of state houses into the bargain, the American people — like Lazarus’ master in Luke 16 — will not be persuaded to turn from their wicked ways, and from God; and he will have to crush them, as he warned throughout the Bible.

Just how YOU read these signs of the times, is your own business. I just told you what those rioters made me think of: It was Zech. 14:13; and I am dismayed but not altogether surprized, to see it happening in my own state, among my own people.

  36. Michael S Said:

I agree, to some extent, with your “Haaaa!!” reaction; but am sobered by the fact that children were said to be in the building when the fire was set.

If they had succeeded and children died or were severely injured the election would be over in favor of Trump and most Republicans at that moment.

It could still happen with these crazies on the loose

  37. @ Michael S:

That was not the context of Zech but yours only and the same verse can be applied to many thousands of similar events today in the past as well as a myriad of other applicable verses in our Jewish Bible.

  38. @ yamit82:
Yamit, I GAVE you the context: it is the rioters in Portland: leftists turning on leftists. What is it, in your thick head, that can’t grasp this?

  39. @ Michael S:

Biblical verses without context are meaningless….. Zech.8:23
So said the Lord of Hosts: In those days, when ten men of all the languages of the nations shall take hold of the skirt of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”

“The woman said to him [Jesus], ‘Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain [i.e., Mount Gerizim]; and you say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.’ Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for Salvation is from the Jews.'” (John 4:19-22)

  40. @ yamit82:
    Hi, Yamit

I read that article. It points out the internal divisions among the leftists. If you will, a scriptural “commercial” break. It reminds me of:

    Zech. 14:
[13] And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

I agree, to some extent, with your “Haaaa!!” reaction; but am sobered by the fact that children were said to be in the building when the fire was set.
