There is a price for attacking Israel

There is a tried and true method for stopping the supposedly expansionist Israelis right in their tracks. Stop bombing them.

From near and far, the call is going out: Watch out for aggressive, imperialist, colonist Israel. It is trying to take over the world, bit by bit, starting with an expansion in the Middle East. (I exaggerate here, but only by a little bit). They have already taken over Gaza, the Golan Heights, and the West Bank. Now, the Jewish State is in the process of absorbing southern Lebanon, and, who knows, by the time they get finished, with all of that country to the north of them. Which country is next? Who knows. You can’t tell with this steamroller of a country.

Israel’s attack on Iran – force and dollar multiplier for the USA

Ambassador (ret.) Yoram Ettinger, “Second Thought: a US-Israel Initiative” | October 28, 2024

*The October 26, 2024 Israeli Air Force 1,000-mile-offensive against Iran – which was one of the more complex air force offensives since WW2 – highlighted Israel as a unique triple A store and battle-tested innovation center for the US defense and aerospace industries, underscoring the superiority of the US-made F-35, F-16 and F-15 in the global market.

*The capabilities of the US combat aircrafts have been demonstrated by the Israeli Air Force, which – more than any other air force – operates in a high intensity manner (over Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran) and acts daily in a do-or-die and can-do state of mind, which mandates more innovation and risk-taking, stretching the capabilities of the US-made combat aircraft to new heights. The keen interest by the US Air Force to hold a multitude of joint maneuvers with Israel’s Air Force attests to the added-value derived by the interaction with – and feedback from – the uniquely experienced Israeli combat pilots.

Analysis: Iran reacts to Israel’s direct retaliation

By Ben Taleblu | October 28, 2024

The headline above the fold in Iran’s Jaam-e-Jam newspaper, “Iran’s Iron Defense,” typifies the Islamic Republic’s early attempts to downplay Israel’s recent strike against Iranian air defense and military installations.

Once again, in 2024, history was made in the Middle East.

On October 25, Israel took credit for a long-expected military retaliation against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The attack reportedly involved over 100 planes striking 20 targets in three separate waves. In so doing, it constituted the first-ever direct and overt Israeli strike against Iranian military sites. (Note: Israel had not publicized or claimed an earlier attack against an Iranian radar installation on April 19, which was in response to Iran’s first drone and missile salvo at Israel earlier that month).

Summary of ISW Comprehesive Review on Israeli-Lebanon campaign

Raylan Givens tweeted the following:

MUST READ: HEZBOLLAH’S COLLAPSE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON – The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) released a comprehensive study today about Hezbollah’s string of military failures against the IDF in Southern Lebanon. Here are some of the key takeaways:

The summary upfront is that Hezbollah is trying to hide the reality that its military forces in Southern Lebanon are disorganized, incoherent, and not conducting an effective campaign against IDF forces. ISW alleges that Hezbollah’s military forces have been “badly damaged and disrupted” by the IDF and that Israel has so far “successfully destroyed and disrupted many of the capabilities required for Hezbollah to threaten northern Israel.”

HURRICANE HELENE AND POTENTIAL FEDERAL LAND GRABS

And with the climate change enthusiasts, lithium is a desired quantity, not only for their electric cars, which no one wants, but because lithium is also used in nuclear devices.

CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, which had 658 employees murdered on 9/11, says ‘we must crush jihad’

Peloni:  The title of Matt Margolis’ review of Trump’s rally says it all:  Worst. Nazi. Rally. Ever.  Facts are stubborn things, even as rhetoric is being leveraged to manufacture false impressions based on fake news and false narratives.

By

Howard Lutnick said this at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday, which the establishment media has been cravenly smearing as a fascist or Nazi rally since there was a Nazi rally there in 1939 — as if no one has held a rally at Madison Square Garden since then.

Lutnick’s call to “crush jihad” is perfectly understandable, not just in light of the devastation of Cantor Fitzgerald on 9/11, but in light of ongoing jihad activity in the U.S. and worldwide. In response, however, the far-left New Republic gave space to a Muslim writer who claims that his statement was “bigoted,” because jihad is an “internal or external struggle to do good deeds.”

Samantha Power Fails in U.S Effort to Create Color Revolution in Georgia – Team USA Vow to Challenge Election Results

Peloni:  This is a very important development.  As the Tanks to Tweets tactics of the US State Dept have now “struck out in Hungary, Slovenia, Mexico, Israel and now Georgia” it will be interesting to see how the Deep State responds going forward.  Will there be a retrograde shift back to tank tactics since the tweets are continuing to fail to successfully promote American interests over the domestic will of relevant nations?

Sundance | October 28, 2024

The nation of Georgia has learned from watching what the USA did in Ukraine; they want no part of it. The “Georgia Dream” party is essentially the Georgia equivalent of the U.S. MAGA party. Pragmatic, clear-eyed, nationalist-minded voters who do not want the CIA arm of USAID meddling in their affairs.

The majority of the people in Georgia do not support the continual bloodshed in Ukraine, they are pragmatic with their views toward Russia, and they don’t want the USA and Brussels determining their politics for them. Georgia Dream is like a Georgia-First party. They had an election last weekend and retained control over parliament.

Israel’s Attack on Iran – October 29 IDSF Daily Briefing

Peloni:  Most relevant portion of the interview begins about 13min mark.  Or Yissachar provides some interesting if not concerning and contrary insights on the stability of the Iranian regime and the limits of Israel and the West to bring about a fall of the Mullahs in Iran.  The import of this is that, given that the nuclear sites are too dangerous to attack directly as previously discussed by Gen. Avivi, promoting regime change in Iran would provide an important alternative in ending the nuclear threat from Iran.  But if Yissachar’s analysis is correct and Israel can not effect the momentum to bring about regime change in Iran, this paints a very different view with regards to how the nuclear threat from Iran might be eliminated.

US Postal Service changes their delivery method of Absentee mail-in ballots

Peloni:  This is deeply disturbing.  There can be no chain of custody if there is the ballot images are not created.

Peter Bernegger tweeted the following:

BOMBSHELL – the United States Postal Service recently changed the delivery method of absentee mail-in ballots!

They are hiding the evidence of absentee mail-in ballot fraud – by not allowing the evidence to be created in the first place. Here’s how and what changed:

You can’t get the absentee mail-in vote ballot images from the USPS because they are not sending them to the central sorting facilities!

Normally, you mail a letter to someone or a bill goes out, it goes to your local post office, then it gets to a central sorting facility. Wisconsin for example has six: Madison, Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Green Bay, N. Illinois and Eagan MN that sorts/handles all mail.

The DOJ’s Unprecedented Election Intervention

A command center to “address events… related to the election in real time.”

by

In Ohio, US Attorney Rebecca Lutzko, a Biden nominee opposed by Republicans, announced the appointment of two federal prosecutors to serve as “election officers”. In Utah, US Attorney Trina A. Higgins, a Democrat donor and Biden appointee, appointed a “district election officer” to stop any “interference or discrimination in voting” and “threats” against election officials.

Events in Ohio and Utah are part of a larger unprecedented level of Justice Department intervention in the 2024 presidential election in support of the administration’s party.

INTO THE FRAY: Something rotten in the land of the Tricolor?

Martin Sherman | October 27, 2024

While France is the origin of the principles of modern democracy, it has also shown a disturbing affinity for tyranny.

I have tried to lift France out of the mud. But she will return to her errors…I cannot prevent the French from being FrenchCharles de Gaulle.

Bizarre developments seem to be emerging in what is considered by many—rightly or wrongly—the home of modern democracy. For there appears to be a growing alignment between Paris and the tyrannical theocrats of Tehran—particularly over the fate of war-torn Lebanon.

Lebanon as a vassal state?

Thus, recently Reuters reported that in a recent interview with Le Figaro, the Speaker of the Iranian parliament, Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, was quoted as saying his country would be ready to “negotiate” with France (!) on the implementation of UN Resolution 1701, the very motion that failed so disastrously to bring stability to Lebanon following the 2006 Second Lebanon War.

The time is right for Israel to question the nature of Beijing’s Middle East agenda – opinion

Peloni:  I would argue that rather than pursue an avenue of interest which would further isolate Israel from China, Israel should instead direct its attentions to the very tangible interest which China has in its connections with Iran, and that of course is their oil sales.  In fact, Israel just passed an opportunity to reduce any leverage which the Iranians have over China when they failed to attack the energy sector assets in Iran which are the source of both Iran’s wherewithal to subsidize its terror proxies as well as the tie which hold China’s interests against Israel.  So with a single attack, Israel could both cripple Iran’s economic infrastructure thus destabilizing the Iranian regime, while it would also serve to free China from its dependency upon Iran’s oil.

One more thing to note, is that in the follow up to the pager campaign in Lebanon, China did appear to change its rhetoric with regards to Israel.  As Carice Witte, executive director of SIGNAL Group, noted at the time, “China realized Israel might win and is therefore adjusting its stance, realizing that, in order to be in the Middle East, Beijing will need some level of decent relations with Israel.”  Hence, the way by which to change the balance of Chinese interests in the region would seem to be for Israel to win the war, following which Israel would be free leverage its significant economic position in the region with regards to China.

This Sino-Israeli diplomatic nadir offers an opportunity for Israel to reassess the merits of diplomatic and economic cooperation with Beijing.

Following the horrific attacks of October 7, 2023, a bloodied and bruised Israel looked to allies and partners for compassion, support, and assistance. In one of Israel’s most vulnerable moments, many condemned the attack, some sent materials and supplies, but China – one of Israel’s most significant business and trade partners – would neither condemn Hamas’s act of terrorism nor provide any help to Israel.

Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman clapped back at New York Times (NYT) reporter Lulu Garcia-Navarro over a question on Israel’s war against terror in an interview released Saturday.

Garcia-Navarro poked at Fetterman’s unwavering support for Israel following the deadly Oct. 7, 2023 attack by Islamic terror group Hamas with a slew of questions. The Democratic senator remained consistent when pressed about Israel’s exploding pager attack of mid-September which targeted Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.

Assessment of Israel’s ‘Operation Days of Repentance’

Peloni: I would like to draw attention to the valuable conversation included below this post as well as that included at the bottom of Israel Bowed Again, just as I would like to thank the contributing views which have been shared on this topic.  In any war, the line between victory and defeat is both very fine as it is also very subtle.  Notably, we are quite fortunate to have a man with the perseverance, spirit and vigor which are embodied in PM Netanyahu, as well as his keen political and strategic perspectives.  His steady judgement informed reflection will be the determining factor of bringing this war to a successful conclusion, just as it has served to bring us thus far in savaging the savages which are now being pressed further than ever from the gates of Israel.  Hence, while the comments demonstrate a variety of views on what the limit of Israel’s recent strike on Iran might portend, I think we are all agreed that an honest appreciation of the successes of that strike as well as the limits of that strike in combination with the opportunity costs of each should be carefully weighed and reflected upon.  This formed the basis having posted the series of commentaries on this topic, even as there still remains some debate as to how far Israel should have gone in this strike amid the lifting fog of war which is revealing the many great successes which were achieved due to the daring spirit and capabilities of the IDF as guided by Bibi’s directives.

Based on very initial knowledge and limited information, I would conclude the following results of Israel’s three-wave Oct. 26 strike on Iran, which were partly strategic, but mostly tactical:

  1. Israel finally broke the aura of Iranian invincibility. It dispelled the 30-year obsession in the West that a strike would have apocalyptic consequences, and established precedent for hitting Iran directly.  This is no small thing, and lifts an analytical and policy straight-jacket that paralyzed Israel and others for decades. Iran has been exposed as weak; its bluffs and bluster called. The emperor has only old, threadbare underwear.  Not quite nude, but close.
  2. Israel started normalizing striking Iran in the same way that, over the years, Israeli strikes on Syria have become routine and barely noticed.
  3. Israel set itself up well for a strike that truly devastates the Iranian regime in the unlikely event that it responds.
  4. Israel showed itself to be a tactical genius and a military power rivaled by none in competence—a true pride of the Jewish people.
