Three critically wounded after incident in capital near Old City; Hamas terrorist shot dead by police.

One person has been killed and at least 14 wounded in Jerusalem, when a terrorist drove a car into a crowd of pedestrians at the Shimon Hatzadik train station, located on Shimon Hatzadik street north of the Old City and not far from the Municipality building.
Shortly after the attack one of the victims who was critically wounded was pronounced dead on his way to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. Two other victims are hospitalized there in critical condition.
Police and medics are on the scene, with at least three people at the scene said to be critically wounded, at least two others moderately injured, and several others lightly wounded.
The terrorist continued driving after running over the pedestrians, hitting into another car and then another before being stopped. He then left the vehicle with an iron bar in his hand and started hitting passersby.
Border Patrol officers on hand at the scene shot the terrorist dead.
The terrorist has been identified as Ibrahim al-Akri, a known member of Hamas who lived in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat.
His brother Musa was reportedly released in the 2011 “Shalit Deal,” according to Channel 2.
Pro-Hamas news sites have been publishing pictures of Ibrahim al-Akri and praising him as a “martyr”:
Hamas spokesperson Mushir al-Masri released a statement shortly after the attack, saying “we strengthen the hands of the one who avenges the blood of those wounded in Al-Aqsa.”
“A commercial vehicle hit and ran over pedestrians at a light rail station,” police spokeswoman Luba Samri told AFP.
Witnesses say the terrorist was driving in a Ford Transit, a large white van, and came from the direction of the French Hill neighborhood.
“Ten people were wounded, one of whom is in critical condition,” emergency services spokesman Zaki Heller told AFP. He said the car had driven down the light rail tracks then ploughed into people waiting on the platform in the mirror image of an attack at the Ammunition Hill light rail station two weeks ago.
In that previous attack, an Arab terrorist murdered a three-month-old girl and 22-year-old woman with his car at the station.
The attack comes in nearly the exact same location where an Arab terrorist killed a 25-year-old hareidi kollel student in August when he ran a tractor into a bus and overturned it.

We keep going to fish in a polluted, stagnant, pestilent cesspool and expect to get healthy fish. It is never going to happen. Mr. Rivlin is not different from the rest of the flotsam in there.
What we the people must finally do is to flush the cesspool out, disinfect it, fill it up with clean water and install means to keep it that way, then seed healthy new fish and proceed from there.
Or outright seal the cesspool and build a completely new lake with clear and clean water and fill it with healthy fish.

Our new president, Ruby Rivlen, in spite of all of the efforts on the part of our Arab enemies in Israel to destroy us, could declare that “we are destined to live together in peace with them!” How many murders does it take for us to understand the futility of such a stupid statement?
Our stupid leadership really thinks that ridding ourselves of murderous enemies is an act of racism!! They insist upon treating every “terrorist” murder as an individual criminal act, rather than the act of war it really is. As such they condemn us to suffer again and again.
We owe the Arabs nothing and we have no reason to supply them with a new country on Jewish soil. When we tell Arabs that they are equal citizens we are denying our own identity. Survival is not an act of racism.
We have permitted democracy to supersede our survival instinct.
