Actually, 6 million is quite the wrong number if your argument is “an eye for an eye”. In that case, you have to match the punishment to the crime, which was, at that time, half of the Jews in the world. Just think if the US population of German descent were to be included…

I have looked into this claim and believe this believe this is a fictitious story. It was invented by an Israeli poet and journalist and a few of his friends. Actually, this tiny group had neither the means nor the intention of killing 6 million Germans. In reality, they never killed even one Germans. The leader of this largely fictious “Nakam” group had a history of makng threats that he never carried out and boasting about made-up acts of “resistance” and “revenge” against the Nazis.
