Liberman slams Arabs who take part in march mourning establishment of Israel, says they should be citizens of PA.
Yisrael Beytenu leader MK Avigdor Liberman on Tuesday harshly criticized Israeli Arabs who mourned the founding of Israel on Independence Day, saying that this provided further proof that they should be made citizens of the Palestinian Authority in any future peace agreement.
Liberman’s comments came after thousands of Israeli-Arabs took part in the annual “Right of Return” march near Umm al-Fahm in the Wadi Ara region of central Israel. The march mourns the founding of Israel on its Independence Day and calls for the right of return for Arabs who fled their homes or were expelled during the 1948 Independence War.
Balad party leader MK Jamal Zahalka took part in the march, referring to Israel’s celebration of its Independence Day as “a dance on Palestinian blood and a provocation of Palestinian feelings and denial of their tragedy.”
Liberman responded Tuesday, stating that “the march of hatred of the Israel-haters and followers of the path of the Mufti of Jerusalem, which took place in Wadi Ara in mourning of the establishment of the State of Israel, is added proof that any agreement with the Palestinians must also include within it Israeli Arabs.”

The former foreign minister stated that “an agreement that does not include this will not be a ‘permanent agreement’ but rather a ‘ceasefire’ until the next round and until furutre claims from this direction.”
Liberman called on the government to adopt this idea as policy and clearly state it as Israel’s intention.
“The situation in which those who enjoy and take advantage of Israel’s democracy and freedom of expression in order to mourn its creation, and at the same time stays silent in the face of the massacre of Palestinians in Syria, proves their hypocrisy and their true goal,” Liberman said.
“These people need to find their place as citizens of the Palestinian Authority, with which they identify and whose flag they wave, and to receive from it their ‘national insurance’ and unemployment pay,” he added.
What hypocrits these densely brained Arabs are! For 13 centuries they have done the same thing to various peoples: Taken over their lands, killing the population, stealing what they want. Now they find themselves on the other end of the stick and are unable to put this in perspective. Instead we hear bawling, crying, mourning and feeling so sorry for themselves. Boo hoo hoo wah wah wah sob sob sob that this could actually happen to Arabs.
Egypt is a good example of this. In the 7th century Islamists invaded and conquered and killed the Christian Copts, whose land Egypt will always be. Now 1300 years later they are still torturing and killing the Christian Copts. They banned Jews from Egypt, and I’m convinced Egypt’s economy has suffered because of it.
Shut the hell up, you big crybabies!

I would not mind a non-racist law that punishes both Jews and Arabs for being antisemitic.
It is the Jewish leaders who contributed to the problem of Palestinian occupation of Israel starting in 1948 and again in 1967 and again with Oslo and again by supporting a two state solution. The Arabs should have their own state anywhere EXCEPT inside Israel. We do them no favor by perpetuating their fantasies. They will NEVER become a normal people until they face the reality of how their own leaders betrayed them along with Jews who also encouraged their fantasies.
But, but its racist to want Arabs who call for the destruction of the Jewish state not to be allowed to remain citizens of that state.
I don’t understand the problem. If there is to be fakestinian state carved out of the ancestral heartland of the Jewish people (G-d forbid!!) as many Jews as are permitted to live there freely and unmolested, would be equal to the number of Arabs permitted to remain in the state of Israel.
What could possibly be seen as unfair about that?
I’m also skeptical about Liebermann’s true motives in calling for the expulsion of Israeli Arabs. It’s a good idea but his statements are pure demagoguery because he knows there is no way that in the present political circumstances Israel could relocate a single Israeli Arab. ~~~ Some time ago he also noted that no peace treaty could be reached with leaders only, that the Arab pupulation had to be behind it. He hasn’t mentioned the need for a referendum in the PA again. And then he recently advocated for disengagement from all but the main settlements. ~~~~~ So my question is, if he’s so concerned about a dangerous alien population within the country, why didn’t he start by working for the relocation of the 100,000 illegal Africans who are making the lives of south Tel Aviv Jewish residents a living hell? I wrote a couple of talkbacks (#6) about it on this report yesterday – http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/167192
Beware of goons bearing convoluted gifts.
