    I compared this map with another, an attempt by the Western Powers to condemn Chinese human rights abuses in Xinjiang. That vote went in China’s favor, with support from Russia and Iran, Saudi Arabia Turkey,Nigeria and others and abstentions from Ukraine, Italy, Israel, Poland, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, etc.

    It appears that very few nations want Russia to get away with the annexation, because then they too will be subject to similar adventures by the Great Powers; but they’re not really concerned about Uygurs being forced into concentration camps.

    India and South Africa took a middle position in both votes. The US was firmly supported by Canada, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Australia, Japan and others.

    Leaders all around the world have a soft spot for China — it’s in their wallets, and in their bellies.

    The UN General Assembly has overwhelmingly disapproved the Russian annexations in the Ukraine

    Complete with the support of Israel. Another move by the America First policy of Lapid and Gantz. Israel has no interest in this war and should refrain from needlessly involving herself in these matters. TOI is now reporting that Israel is also providing Ukraine with intelligence to combat Russia’s use of drones and that a private Israeli firm was providing Ukraine with sattelite imagery of Russian troop positions.

    Israel’s involvement on behalf of Ukraine is obviously in response to US pressure to do so, but such capitualtions to the Americans, very much in line with the acceptance of the outrageous American sponsored theft of Israeli assets by Lebanon, is changing the future prospects of the Jewish state on various levels.
    There will be a consequence for these actions.
