T. Belman. This alliance between the GOP establishment, including Bush Sr and Bush Jr, and the hateful MB, reminds one of the alliance between many Americans and the Nazis in the thirties and forties.
The Roots Of U.S. Domestic Muslim Brotherhood Problem And The Reasons Why The Republican Establishment Avoid It

This is the third article in a series. Part two can be read here.
The details about why someone very high up in the George W. Bush administration intentionally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory barely six months after 9/11 are not entirely known. What is known is that someone high up in the administration made that call and no fewer than two Muslim American leaders aggressively lobbied for that defeat – Talat Othman and Khaled Saffuri. The outcome – regardless of causation – appeared to be in line with their efforts.
Why?

The Muslim Brotherhood – also called Muslim Brethren or The Society of the Muslim Brothers Jamiat al-Ikhwan al-muslimun) – is an Islamic organization with a political approach to Islam. It was founded in Egypt in 1928 by cleric Hassan al-Banna after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. Though many claim the organization decries violence, the Brotherhood is often viewed as the root source of Islamic terrorism.
Ideology & Methodology
According to founder al-Banna, “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.” Therefore, the Muslim Brotherhood opposes secular tendencies of Islamic nations and wants a return to the precepts of the Qur’an. The Brotherhood firmly rejects all notions of Western influences in addition to rejecting extreme Sufism as well. Brotherhood members organize events from prayer meetings to sport clubs for socializing.
The organization’s motto: “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
Jihad & Terrorism
An important aspect of the Muslim Brotherhood ideology is the sanctioning ofjihad such as the 2004 fatwa issued by Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi making it a religious obligation of Muslims to abduct and kill U.S. citizens in Iraq. al-Banna wrote that the Islamic flag must be raised again in the territories once ruled by Islam: “Thus, Andulasia (Spain), Sicily, the Balkans, the Italian coast, as well as the islands of the Mediterranean are all Muslim Meditarranean colonies, and they must return to the embrace of Islam.”
The Brotherhood is also viewed by many in the Middle East and the West as the root source for Islamic terrorism. In 2005, a former Kuwaiti Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmad al-Rabi’, wrote in the Saudi-owned Asharq al-awsat newspaper: “The beginings of all the religious terrrorism that we are witnessing today were int he Muslim Brotherhood’s ideology .. all those who worked with bin-Laden and al-Qaida went out under the mandate of the Muslim Brotherhood.”
Indeed, the Muslim Brotherhood not only condemned the US for killing bin-Laden in May 2011, they also facilitated the growth of al-Qaida. Abdullah Azzam, bin-Laden’s mentor, came out of the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood; Ayman al-Zawahiri, bin-Laden’s deputy, came from the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood; Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, grew up in the Kuwaiti Muslim Brotherhood.

those are pro semitic stereotypes. Most generalizations by anyone tend to be based on stereotypes. The stereotypical question elicits a stereotypical answer. Most of the chinese stereotypes are not anti and furthemore the facts show that Jews do tend to have a higher proportion of representation and success in financial and academic matters similar to the chinese who work hard.

I think you are talking about Chinese of previous generations. Today’s city or urban dweller Chinese youth are beginning to mirror their Western peers.
The descriptions of Jews in Arnold’s comment are in fact antisemitic in that they rely on popular antisemitic stereotypes. Few if any Chinese have ever met a Jew and base their views only on hearsay like they say Jews are good with money and clever etc.

I have had some similar experience with the Chinese and came to the same conclusions. I add to your assessment their tendency to sacrifice for a goal and loyalty to family.

Regarding Israel’s growing connections with China, I have been preaching all of the above for some time. Unlike the fools who have been running the government and the large corporate traders of this country, the Chinese are not at all dumb.
Sixty-five years ago, in 1950, when I was a 16-year-old kid in Chicago, I got a job with a Chinese-owned take out and delivery restaurant, delivering food orders, like the hundreds of thousands of pizza delivery kids these days. I must have been the only white kid in Chicago who worked for the Chinese. Among other things, they taught me how to correctly use chopsticks for their various food dishes, because they fed me there. The chop suey, chow mein, and other dishes their customers ordered bore no resemblance to the dishes they ate. They were among the most diligent and hard working businessmen I ever met. The only vice I noticed was that they were inveterate gamblers. But I respected them and they treated me well.
The American Chinese of that era were mostly Cantonese, whose families originated in the southern part of China. None of them talked as if they were communists, but they plainly were proud of the fact that Mao Tse-Dong had united their big country the previous year. I got to thinking of them again late that year, when the Chinese Army came crashing down on MacArthur’s overstretched battle lines near the Yalu River in the northernmost part of North Korea. Truly, a formidable nation. And now, its is becoming obvious that they will exercise imperial control over large parts of this planet and its inhabitants.
I understand that not only have the Chinese no feelings of anti-Semitism, but they admire the Jews, whom they regard as the diligent protectors of an ancient culture that has fought against all odds to keep the Jewish nation intact. There actually is something Israel can sell to them which they need. That is the product of the innovative temperament that has blossomed in Israel over the past century or more. Jewish relationships to that immense Chinese nation of about 1.5 billion, not counting possibly hundreds of millions of overseas Chinese, would be as very junior partners. But with them, it would be an honorable relationship. And like the Russians, they treat their allies with respect. Nothing at all like the treatment Israel and the Jewish nation have gotten from US governments going back to Franklin Delano Roosevelt. I strongly think it will be a good connection, and that they will treat us well, as did those Chinese businessmen in Chicago treated me, so long ago.
