How appropriate that the Dems would make this to be one of their last soiling actions with their control of the Congress. Now it will be interesting to see who the next Speaker might be, and how he might handle the Ukraine mess.
FYI, Robert Barnes claims that Trump has revisited his decision to not accept the Speaker if it were offered to him. He says that Trump would accept the post for a maximum of 100 days while the Reps find an alternate to replace him, and in the meantime, he would set the stage for the Reps, both in the House and in the country. Time will tell if this proves accurate, but it would be a very good idea.
