Keelie, I have seen this “defend the constitution” stuff a lot lately. It’s meaningless, to all but a few soldiers. I speak from experience: About 99%, or more, of US GIs are there for two reasons: To obey orders and stay alive, generally in that order.

I seriously doubt if any major force is used in the US. Regardless of the present, and always hovering, threats of violence, I’m sure that the population as a whole would be shocked. They are used to expressing their feelings however loud and crude, but are basically a non-violent, law-abiding people, considering that there are 330 millions of them -a conglomeration of many different cultures.,

I regularly get “Page not working” whenever I type in Israpundit on a new tab. I do this sometimes to see the list of subjects ongoing, not all of which are on the Daily Digest. Just now, twice, and earlier today, yesterday and a few days ago were the last times I tried to key in, and the page was still not “working”.
It works well from the Daily Digest, however, not always but nearly so..

Good points, but bear in mind that whatever the military does will be in accordance with the constitution, and will be used to re-establish now mostly ignored consitutional values.
Remember, the military are there to fight against “all enemies, foreign and domestic”.

Yes, I agree with you and heartily disagree with your detractors.
If one looks carefully at the current level of mayhem and corruption, one can easily see why it won’t hold.
Some of the statements being made right now sound rather conspiratorial, but the bottom line is that what’s going on now will not be tolerated for very long.
It’s all very well to say that Trump will not countenance any possible bloodshed, and this I can understand. But if things are not forcibly changed – and no doubt it will take force – you can bet that the amount of bloodshed will be far greater than your detractors can imagine.
Puting it bluntly: the folks who have real power to change things can either fight for America or lose it.
How will they do this? Above my pay grade…

Ted, One time, I tried to access Israpundit, it actually said, “blacklisted,” and wouldn’t allow me access. Think about it. If any ofthis is true, which I don’t believe, then exposing it hardly helps. However, leading Democrats, MSM, big tech, and even ordinary liberals are calling for total censorship on grounds of sedition, which calling for a military coup would be. They are vetting the national guard in DC for Trump supporters. The only people who are being persuaded these plans are real are the enemy who did rig this election and are calling the shots for the moment. These posts give them ammunition and may soon make it impossible to access Israpundit from the US.
Please withhold judgement. Wait for things to unfold.
Nothing is more important or impactful to Israel and the world then the outcome of this presidential struggle.
I believe that the election was stolen and that Trump is doing what he can within the law to be inaugurated.
I do not believe anything the Dems or the MSM says.
Beyond that I just present variations of what will happen. It will all be clear in a week to 10 days. So be patient like I am.

The essence of your post I agree with that Israpundit had been doing a good job on information about Israel. These postings from non-credible sources about the USA and complete denial of the reality in the USA has sadly soiled Israpundit.
I am sorry, Ted. I do not believe that there will be Martial Law. Sebastian Gorka who knows Donald Trump personally, says Trump is not going to be the leader of a coup which will likely lead to bloodshed which will cost thousands if not tens of thousands of lives. Trump is not going to be a leader of a military counter-revolution to restore Good over Evil.
I can’t remember who said it, but I recall a saying that has recently been quoted on Youtube channel: You can deny reality, but you can’t escape the consequences of reality.”

“CNN Is Trying to De-platform Us: Newsmax

A competing media outlet is pointing to de-platforming efforts from CNN and decrying claims CNN is making as part of its efforts as false.
Newsmax TV has seen strong growth since the 2020 election, cutting into Fox News viewership. But its growth has sparked calls for censorship led by CNN.
A CNN reporter recently pressured cable providers to stop airing Newsmax and blamed its coverage of the election for the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol. He claimed that Newsmax engaged in “election denialism” by reporting on election fraud allegations. And former Facebook official Alex Stamos on CNN’s Sunday media show pushed for censorship, saying Newsmax and another news broadcaster, One America News, “have freedom of speech, but I’m not sure we need Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, and such bringing them into tens of millions of homes.”
Only one cable provider responded to CNN. CenturyLink said it was committed to providing “a variety of broadcast channels covering thousands of topics” and that it does not “endorse specific media or outlets, but instead support viewers’ access and choice.”
The Epoch Times has reached out to the cable providers CNN messaged and asked whether they had considered removing Newsmax or CNN. CenturyLink was the only provider that responded, sending the same statement.
Newsmax told The Epoch Times in an emailed statement: “Newsmax is disappointed that CNN, which has a long history of mis-reporting and conspiracy-mongering with its Steele Dossier and Russian Collusion reporting, is urging cable companies to remove Newsmax from their platforms.”
“CNN’s real reason is to eliminate Newsmax as a competitor. Newsmax is now the 4th highest-rated cable news channel and Newsmax is clearly on a trajectory to overtake CNN on ratings,” it added.
An unsubstantiated dossier from ex-British spy Christopher Steele, funded by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, played a central role in an investigation into purported ties between Donald Trump and his campaign and Russian actors.
CNN heavily promoted both the dossier and the investigation, which concluded with no evidence of collusion.
“CNN’s claims about Newsmax are also false. Newsmax never denied the election results. We called all contested states for Biden as they were certified and accepted him as President-elect on December 14,” Newsmax added. “We note that our coverage of Pres. Trump’s electoral challenge was similar to Fox News and Fox Business but they are not included in CNN’s recent blacklist. Clearly this is not about editorial concerns, this is about removing a new cable news competitor.”
One America News told The Epoch Times via email that executives are discussing CNN’s censorship push internally and consulting with their attorneys.
CNN didn’t respond to a request for comment.

I fully agree.
Up until now, I have enjoyed relying on your website as a source of interesting and truthful reporting about Israel. Why you are sullying your reputation by putting this piece of garbage up on your website, that is replete with half-baked theories and untruths about what is contained in the US Constitution by people who have no idea, is beyond my comprehension.
