Why I Am Confident Trump Will Smash the Left and Win

More than ever.

By David Horowitz, FPM

The big news of the day is that Joe Biden has picked a running mate in Kamala Harris, a demagogic woman who called him a racist, and couldn’t win a primary in her own state because Democrat voters didn’t think she was “authentic.” Nonetheless, leftists at MSNBC and other DNC propaganda venues are falling over themselves calling the choice historic and inspiring because of her skin color. The Biden-Harris ticket is now a rallying cry for the hate-Trump-and-white-America left. According to MSNBC’s Joy Ann Reid, the Biden-Harris ticket will be greeted by a massive turnout of black America for the Democrats in November. Traditionally Democrats get over 90% of the black vote.

Not so fast. There were actually two events today. The other was the release of a Trump ad responding to Biden’s announcement. If the Republican ticket were headed by any Republican except Trump, there might be some reality to the claim that Harris adds a serious dimension to the ticket. A normal Republican would be skittish about going to the mat with the woman who if elected would – given Biden’s declining condition – be effectively the next president of the United States. After all, she’s black, and therefore untouchable.

But a look at Trump’s ad shows that, far from deferring to a political opportunist and serial liar like Harris because of her skin color, Trump is prepared to go to the mat to defeat her and her running mate. In other words, Trump is going into battle just as if Kamala were not black – or more accurately, brown (she’s half-Indian) – which is the true measure of equal treatment, albeit a measure that Democrats’ don’t really want. In the Trump ad the Biden-Harris ticket is skewered as “Sleepy Joe” and “Phony Kamala” – a sobriquet that underscores the Machiavellian character of a woman who called her running mate a racist before wooing him and whose only stable principle is “the ends justify the means.” In other words, Trump will take on the ticket with a woman chosen for her skin color with no punches pulled.

Not surprisingly, the Democrats’ elation at the Harris pick overlooks a reality unnoticed by ideologues who slander the president as a “white nationalist” and the most inclusive, integrated and equal nation in the world as “white supremacist.” This reality is on display in the just-released Rasmussen poll which shows that 36% of the black community supports Trump – up from 8% in the last election, and previous Republican runs. That is because Trump is the first Republican leader to actively and aggressively woo the black community and to deliver for them as well. Perhaps the most salient point of his delivery for this election is his support for the nation’s integrated and beleaguered police forces and the battle cry “law and order.”

According to Gallup, by a factor of 81% the black community feels threatened by the destruction of America’s cities at the hands of violent mobs who hide behind the slogan “Black Lives Matter” as they carry out their dirty work. Black America is against defunding police departments as Democrats have proposed. Black America embraces the central theme of Trump’s campaign: law and order. Where has Kamala Harris been on these issues, her skin color notwithstanding? Invisible. No calls from her to arrest the looters and arsonists, no criticism of the Democrat mayors whose hands-off policies and moral support for the “protesters” were indispensable to the mayhem, the injuries to thousands of officers, and the deaths of scores of people – mainly black – that followed.

The reality in America does not fit the leftist script. America is not a racist country. “Systemic racism,” the battle cry of Kamala’s leftist supporters and their puppy dog Biden, is a transparent myth. And therefore the mouthing of leftist clichés is not going to inspire communities “of color” as Democrats think.

I recently published a book on the wars against Trump, which has been six straight weeks on The New York Times best-seller list. A nasty review appearing in New York Magazine summarily dismissed it because of its title, calling it “bad timing.” That title is Blitz: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win. The book described the secret that made me so confident that despite being the most vilified and slandered human being in all history, Trump would prevail. Trump is a patriot and a populist but above all else a fighter. It was that fact that gave me the confidence that through all his wars he would continue to win. And now more than ever, I am confident my timing is good.

Yes, yes, yes. Formally, you are right.
HOWEVER, 1) it came to be the major source of income or even the ONLY source of income to a very large percentage of the elderly, and NO it’s NOT their fault.
    2) private or corporate pensions have certain conditions attached to them, like the length of service to the company, for example, and beginning in the early nineties working for a company full time for 5 years or more started becoming more and more difficult and rare.
Also, most companies simply do not offer pensions.
Starting in the early 90s, these pensions were being increasingly replaced by the IRA’s AND, last but not least, more and more pension funds are simply going broke.
    3) I know that the politicians stole from the Social Security fund BUT they are now planning to completely stop adding payroll tax money to it (“defunding”).
Don’t you think that if they wanted to actually KEEP the social security program alive, the proper thing to do would be to supply a new source of funding FIRST (not IOUs) before removing the old source?
You wouldn’t normally quit your job just because you didn’t like it BEFORE finding another one if you had a family to feed and you were its only source of income, would you?
    4) To the best of my knowledge, the FED is a bunch of private banks – who owns them?
Based on this link, the FED is not the largest holder of the US debt:
    https://www.thebalance.com/who-owns-the-u-s-national-debt-3306124
I think that that the US debt in unrepayable, and if it was meant to be this way (based on the impression that the US Treasuries are “the best investment in the world, who would want to stop investing in them”), then it’s the biggest con in history.
Printing money – digital or otherwise will ALWAYS result in runaway inflation, and the idea that the US hasn’t had any inflation since the 80s is simply a LIE.
    5) Just because you don’t have skin in the game (Social Security) doesn’t mean that there aren’t tens of millions of people who do, and to them all the formal explanations in the world, no matter how correct they might be, will offer no comfort in their old age.

  2. @ Reader:
SS security was never meant of designed to be a pension, only a limited safety net for the American worker… Essentially it is a progressive tax on the employer and the employee… It was never created to replace private or corp pensions… That responsibility is solely on the workers themselves and many if not most do have some form of pension outside of SS. There are many reforms posited to make SS solvent equitable… I just said that the Federal gov owes SS trust fund trillions looted and replaced with an IOU. If the Gov can create Trillions out of thin air… digital money it can create any shortfall to SS Trust fund as needed. China is not the largest American creditor the FED is. Also in a pinch remember the Chinese don’t vote in American elections and are not a major priority for repayment in a financial crisis.

  3. @ Bear Klein:
Selling bonds to pay for Social Security means increasing the 25 trillion $ debt to WHAT LEVEL?
They are delusional if they think that the US Treasury bonds are still “the best investment”.
Who is going to buy their bonds?
The foreign countries whose economies are devastated by the Plandemic or their impoverished subjects with their “stimulus” payments?
China is their biggest creditor and they treat China like trash and demonize it (kill the creditor?)
They want to ABOLISH Social Security, and any of their explanations is a trap for fools.
After their reforms kill millions of old people (the hated baby Boomers with their “entitlements”), they will say: “OOPS! So sorry, our mistake! The President is issuing an apology!”
But that will not bring back the dead or fix the destroyed economy which was a fantom existing on a huge debt that no one expected to ever repay and on unrestrained money printing which magically wouldn’t bring inflation.

  4. @ yamit82:
How does the government’s (note – the Republican administrations’) stealing from the Social Security fund and cutting taxes justify the final blow of actually DEFUNDING Social Security by abolishing the Social Security tax?
Someone asked FDR: “Mr. President, why is the Social Security pension based on taxation? Nowhere else in the world they tax people for their pensions.” (Not an exact quote but a close rendition).
His response (literally) [was that] he designed Social Security to use a payroll tax so “no damn politician can ever scrap my social security program.”
    Little did he know!
I don’t think that AARP is partisan (so far, I am happy that it exists, it is there to defend the rights of the elderly) and, frankly, I don’t care if it were because whoever permits the corporations which make multi-billion $$ annual profits (net) to pay zero taxes while shifting the tax burden on the rapidly disappearing middle class doesn’t deserve to be in power.
Don’t count on the $$ staying the reserve currency forever.
The EU is already revolting against the US sanctions designed to grab the European market by force, and Russia and the Asian countries have been increasingly using their own currencies for trade among themselves.
The Plandemic Depression did not help the image of the United States.
The only reason the US is still doing OK is because the politicians figure the country will never have to pay its 25 trillion $ debt – they may be in for a surprise (are they trying to get rid of the debt like the Germans did before the war by inducing inflation and making their currency worthless?)
The unrestrained money printing will inevitably lead to runaway inflation.
I don’t know where you live but here in the US I’ve noticed the prices going up, especially on food.
Trump belongs to those (there is a video interview with him to prove it) who think that big and painful (not to them!) economic crises (like the Great Depression) clear out the losers and leave the winners to MAGA (I suppose).
Well, I don’t wish to test this questionable hypothesis on my own hide.

  5. The AARP knows the history of stolen SS but they are partisan Dems and should not be receiving the status of Non-Profit.

  6. @ Reader:

Trump has stated many times the money for SS will be paid for from the General Fund!!!

Trump just proved as long as America can print money it will never go broke. Since the $$$ is still the reserve currency of the world little danger in printing as much as needed to keep SS afloat.

Ronald Reagan and The Great Social Security Heist

THE US GOV owes the SS trust fund stolen or borrowed by Reagan and both Bushes to pay for tax cuts to the rich and never repaid and replaced. The amt is now = to $$$$$ Trillions.

  7. TRUMP MUST NOT WIN.
I just got this E-mail from the AARP (this is NOT fake news):

On Saturday, President Trump signed a series of Executive Actions, including one to suspend payroll taxes through the end of the year. He has also said he would eliminate the payroll tax completely if re-elected.

this is what you need to know:

The payroll tax funds Social Security benefits.
Americans 50+ are already on edge about their financial and retirement security, and cutting Social Security funding could put benefits and the whole program at risk going forward…
Social Security is the largest source of retirement income for most Americans and provides nearly all income for one in four seniors. And across the board — no matter party affiliation or age — the American public overwhelmingly supports Social Security.

Basically, he has just promised to ABOLISH Social Security (without actually stating it outright) if elected in November, and he already began the process by suspending the payroll funding for Social Security which will continue forever if he is elected President.
This is no longer the question of his personal qualities, or accomplishments vs. Biden’s.
This is a question of life and death and attempted mass murder of the country’s elderly.
If it sounds too dramatic, so be it because this is how I feel.
This is an absolute crime against humanity to defund Social Security.
Maybe he wants us to return to the early 1930s when 6-7 million people in the US starved to death, except now they want it to be the Baby Boomers who committed the unforgivable crime of growing old and claiming their earned Social Security payments.
How I wish they had impeached him then!
This is NOT my idea of MAGA.
