Nothing shows the West’s lack of seriousness about terrorism more than the shameful presence of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas at the mass demo in Paris. If the Charlie Hebdo massacre had taken place in Israel, Abbas would have named a square after the killers
What on Earth was Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas doing at Sunday’s mass demonstration in Paris against terrorism in general and the twin massacres by Islamists of the Charlie Hebdo journalists and the Jews at the Kosher supermarket last week?
If you don’t get the point instantaneously you’re part of the problem, or at least you’ve probably spent too much time watching, reading and listening to the BBC… which may, of course, amount to the same thing.
It beggars belief. Abbas’s Palestinian Authority glorifies terrorism as a matter of policy. Countless squares and streets in the areas that he controls have been named after terrorists who have slaughtered men, women and children.
It is not in any way a cute point, but if the people who murdered the journalists at Charlie Hebdo and the Jews in the Kosher supermarket had been Palestinians, and the civilians they had murdered had been Israelis, Abbas would have already named a square after them.
It is the grossest expression of opportunism for Abbas to be in Paris for the demonstration at all. He’s there because he’s worried that terrorism has been given a bad name, not because he opposes it.
As for the clowns who invited him, well, it’s just another illustration of our total lack of seriousness. But, by now, who could be surprised by that?

Reports (Israeli press in election cycle): Elysee Palace did not “want” Bibi there; he attended as Lieberman and Bennett were going; then the Palace invited Abbas and publicized his meeting with Pres Hollande at the Palace. At march, Bibi was not initially placed in front. Finally, French President + officials left Grand Synagogue before bibi spoke…More fuel for your anger

Exhilarating Day in France Marred by massive French Intelligence failures and America Going AWOL, Insulting France.
2,000,000 marching arm in arm for unity and freedom. One could not help being inspired. I was glued to the TV and had goose bumps. Humanity at its best and I admired this French turnout – THE FRENCH AT THEIR BEST – the largest ever MARCH in modern French history. But then doubts and questions interrupted this temporary utopia….
I had lunch with someone who was enraged that Abbas appeared in the front row of the massive Paris Rally. I wasn’t sure how to react. France had just voted for a Palestinian state….so maybe this was a thank you from Abbas or more likely a political move by Hollande to balance Bibi’s presence? Maybe it was considered a way for Abbas to score points with the West and not let Israel gain the upper hand now that Muslims were on defensive? Maybe this would be the start of a reconciliation between Arabs and Jews (well I can dream)
?. While I was thinking about my friend’s anger, I got the following email from my son….now we can all be angry about Abbas but I can add to the list:
1.) Abbas at the march
2.) Horrific French intelligence failure, not only of the 3 terrorists but also allowing the girl to escape. Beyond that the brothers were radicalized in prison….was no one watching? The mentor of the brothers in prison was the head of a terrorist cell who was released in 2012 and ended up as a nurse in a hospital and he was only discovered now because this is the hospital that injured survivors of Charlie Hebdo were sent to!! Worse still, France has a law that no one with a criminal record can intern at a hospital. Here is one of France’s worst terrorist leaders working freely at a hospital contrary to French law and off France’s security radar. Keystone cops could not match this.
3.) With the biggest March in modern French history, with close to 2 million expressing support for Charlie and Jewish hostages, America could not be bothered to send one high ranking rep. No Biden, Kerry, Bush, Clinton no one except Holder who was there for a meeting. The French are properly insulted and the Americans and Obama blew it. Why did Obama do it to such a close ally? How did Hillary miss this opportunity?

The French are blaming essentially the lack of a ‘palestinian state’ for the murder of it’s citizens by lone wolves full of rage towards the ‘zionist oppressors’. It needs from now on to be understood that the Frogs, by their full blown unequivocal UN vote to recognize a terrorist state not in peace, but in war with an Israel within indefensible borders and probable support for a full blown ‘right of return’ to Israel is nothing less than a call for the destruction of Israel. That is the direction in which France is sprinting towards and they are crossing the finish line. That is why Abbas was given such prominence, it was not by chance.
We can expect more violence directed against Jews in France and worldwide. The signal has been transmitted and sleeper cells are activated.
There are many measures needed to be put into effect; however, I doubt Bibi will actually do any of them. If Bennet joins a coalition with Netanyahu which is one that stirs a course the same as the present one, I predict Bennet will be finished, similar to Hubert Humphrey. Bennet has to be very very careful.
I believe he is abundantly intelligent enough to navigate these and other obstacles and give him a very very good chance for success. As for Bibi, I do not have any idea.
He was told that he would feel right at home among his peers. ALL of them support islamic murderers and all of them support him as one of the murder promoters in particular. The whole enchilada was just a pumped up circus. Business as usual starting right after.
Netanyahu should have never allowed himself to be in the same line with the Holocaust deniers, Islamic terror supporters and facilitators. He was correct to go to France and to the sites of the massacres to pay respects to the victims but NEVER to join that repulsive line up.
