What happened before the massacre on October 7th?

  • Gaza Division Commander Avi Rosenfeld updates the Commander of the Ashdod Naval Base, Eitan Paz, with intelligence information about an “event” happening in Gaza. Rosenfeld informs that the instructions are not to take any unusual actions, as it (possibly) might be a drill.
  • Despite this, Paz immediately mobilizes the relevant forces.
  • The Navy adds that “no warning was received about an intention to carry out an attack or intelligence mentioning an offensive action against Israel.” It also confirms the Rosenfeld-Paz conversation.
  • Rosenfeld updates the commander of the northern brigade in the division, Colonel Haim Cohen, who decided that the signs were significant enough. Col. Cohen got into his vehicle and arrived at the headquarters at around 06:00 on Saturday morning. The division’s intelligence officer also rushed to the location, and the Shin Bet’s “Tequila” teams joined as well.

So what did we have here? Rosenfeld, Paz, Haim Cohen—likely feared the possibility of some attack. In the Shin Bet, the concern was apparently quite real. In contrast, Herzi Halevi, for some reason, ordered not to take any unusual actions and didn’t even inform the political level. And this chief commander continues to “manage” the war and appoint commanders to his liking. Words have failed.

  1. Israel’s IDF General Staff is handpicked to be Woke and ineffective. Same as the General Staff in the United States military in the Pentagon.
    Israel’s generals hate Netanyahu
    Pentagon Generals hate Trump.
