Lara Logan – Nobody owns me & nobody ever will.

This is one of the best things I have seen in a long time – finally someone pushing back against these false narratives. This demonstrates how serious the situation is – WE WILL NOT BE DRAWN INTO A WIDER WAR BASED ON LIES/DECEPTION. enough is enough.

    Yeah, I can appreciate the self-defeating use of hyperbole by any reporter. But as I noted, to my eyes at least, Lara stands apart from the rest for the reasons I noted. I had a rather poor opinion of her due to her being on 60min, which routinely produced the general crap associated with the shill-mill organization, such as it is. After she stood up to them, she really did impress me.

    I read all that stuff on the internet. I just said I’d never heard of her, although I suppose I vaguely have.. And I recall that rape, not uncommon with women reporters sticking their noses into bad places. I just don’t bother much with Video News, and looking at women in combat helmets crouched in a cup at the end of a boom, frantically gabbling into a microphone. ..well…. , it’s always doom and gloom and whatever happens there is nothing that I can do about it. I get the important news on this site anyway, especially in the COMMENTS (minus Michael’s superfluous rhetorical query)

    The last time I was “excited” about a news report was on hearing that Trump had “lost” the election.

    BUT…..the BIGGEST excitement was hearing, very faintly, through a scratchy fading RADIO report, that;

    ” This WAR is OVER, just hours after it began. Israel has won this war” etc. etc.

    , Paraphrased. This reporter really got a scoop. It was the 6 Day War. Can’t recall the reporter’s name I think it was a BBC reporter, , but nobody believed him. 55 years ago, I remember it as if it were yesterday.

    I just am suspicious of hyperbolic “SCARE” Headlines, “EXPLOSIVE”, Like they used to have when selling newspapers on the streets …”STOP PRESS” bellowing paper sellers etc. and they really were nothing much. ….!!

  3. she has recently divulged a suspicion that it was an act of retribution and not by the Arabs. Many thought she would not return after suffering this outrage

    Biden, Gates, Soros and their criminal gang are trying to repeat what they did to Lara on all of us — with economic ruin, toxic injections and WWIII. There has never been, in my opinion, a more evil group of people.

  4. Lara Logan was the first to actually feel the wrath of breaking ranks with the corrupt Fox News since they made an example of Lou Dobbs. Maria Bartiromo and Tucker Carlson have each broken from the pack on certain taboo topics, but it seems that to describe Fauci as Mengele was an image too far for “Brought To You By Pfizer” Fox News and they shelved her. By doing so, they foolishly thought they would silence her, but that was their mistake – they must have forgotten her history. Instead they freed her from the shackles of corporate managed guidelines with all of her sources stil her own to report on. She has developed significant contacts within the intelligence/military community over the years, in which her husband is involved, and unless she is to be the latest suspect of a Russian operative, which never grows old, her reporting should be seen as reliable as it ever was.

    Making her way up the ranks and “paying her dues” as she describes it, she covered environmental stories for CNN and continued to survive the “Barbie Doll Goes To War” imaginings of her co-workers. In time, she came to develop a serious reputation for news, and as a woman traveling into combat zones along side the troops, while also never above an honest journalistic critique of her profession, she stood out from the crowd for reasons that did not always add to her popularity among her colleagues or the targets of her stories. She shot to the fore with the reports of the terrible situation in which she was beaten and abused by the Arab mob, something that she has recently divulged a suspicion that it was an act of retribution and not by the Arabs. Many thought she would not return after suffering this outrage, but this would not be the last time she rose to the occasion to disappoint those who would seek to destroy her. I have admired her for a long time, but the instance that stood out, in my mind was when she called out her own reporting, on air, as being false. I don’t recall the details well, but it was related to Bengazi, and that cost her her job. She went on to report on the lies that were being told by the US govt about related to the Arab Spring and the Al Qeuda, which made her even more popular.

    Her life story is that of a remarkable woman of incredible grit and indefatigable determination. Regardless of the content of her reports, I sincerely believe she has faith that what she is reporting is truthful, and if she were to find out something contradicting her reports, she would likely be the first to expose this fact and why her reporting was false. It wouldn’t be the first time she did so, and at this point, it would be far less costly for her to do so.

  5. Ted, I don’t know where Edgar’s been; but I certainly remember that horrible event. Lara is a remarkable woman.

  7. She’s well over 50 and seems to have been everywhere, but I never ever saw a single report that she wrote. Lara Logan “call me LL:+”..

    .Not like Amanpoor who was sticking her chest in everyone’s face so that she was noticed. An Anti-Semite of massive proportions, notorious for denigrating the Holocaust. I certainly recall HER.

  8. I never heard of Lara Logan until now. But she sounds very much like Tierney, boastful, using super-hyperbole and etc. Blitzkreig -like announcements…… I believe about half of it, ,maybe less.as she is Not there she is in the US. And, nobody really knows what’s going on there
