We are winning…Get over it!

When Israel was attacked on October 7, 2023 by 3,000 Gazans who gleefully murdered our innocent men, women and children in heinous fashion… only part of the world was in shock. The balance, were in denial, and many still remain as such.

When was the last time any nation actually fought in a war with the intention of “winning” it? The United States has become famous for walking away from its wars without success. That apparently, is what the European Union countries… and the International Criminal Court expected. The ICC has issued its warrants for the arrest of Prime Minister Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, our defense minister during the war’s first year. This is their way of continuing the onslaught of dual standards against Israel… made into an art form by their parent organization… The United Nations. The ICC is using lawfare to try to stop Israel from winning this war. It is not going to work.

Today’s new-woke-absurdity says that there are only victims and oppressors. Israel was the victim of the horrors, but distorted thinking says we somehow are also the oppressor for defending ourselves. We were blamed for oppressing the Gazans when it was Hamas which was destroying their future. We are now blamed for fighting this war- to win. In truth, the World somehow expected us to limit our reaction to the horrors perpetrated, and wait for the next one to happen. We would have been respected if we had done a tit-for-tat and had walked away. The problem with that approach of course, is that we would have been attacked in perpetuity from the hundreds of thousands of missiles and arms which Iran financed, which Hamas and Hezbollah collected in preparation for their conquering dream of glory.

That “intended moment” was a siege of enormous grotesqueness – which was intended to end the lives of everyone in the Jewish state. Israel was most certainly not awake when the assault began…but it was enormously prepared for the aftermath. The difference between our preparations and those of Iran… is that we were never going to be the aggressor, when clearly Iran was making sure that their will, would be done. They created a ring of fire nations to make it virtually impossible for Israel to survive its enemies. Where are the arrest warrants being issued for the Ayatollah and the heads of Hamas who have been given sanctuary in Turkey? For Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who harbors them, for Qatar who gave them safe haven? For those who perpetually stole foreign aid and food, from their own people- forcing them to serve as human shields for every stash of weapons hidden under their children’s beds, and every missile launcher they were forced to have installed in their homes? Where is the United Nations and ICC indignation towards Iran? Only silence.

The assassination of just one man…Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, by a Serbian extremist group on June 28, 1914, was the beginning of World War I. Not the murder of 1200 innocents by 3,000 extremists… just one victim. Austria’s reaction was to ensure that their empire was not destroyed by these terrorists. Israel does not have an empire, it has a very small country, and we are fighting this war with every ounce of courage and intelligence required to guarantee our survival.

Targeting those who have masterminded the terror attacks against us for years…killing so many of our citizens… isn’t pretty. Destroying our enemies’ endless storehouses of missiles, and factories which endlessly resupply their stockpiles looks ferocious. It is. War is hell.

We now live in a world where evil has not been not held accountable. Think again. Israel has no choice but to see this war until victory if her people are to survive. There is no room for compromise.

No other nation, defending itself against so many enemies, has ever been told that its leaders are war criminals. A court which has been hell-bent in using whatever means at its disposal to thwart and impugn the Jewish nation has made its statement. Our leaders are not war criminals. They are heroic… as are our soldiers fighting on the front lines to ensure we, our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will have a tomorrow.

Those who actually understand fact from fiction… victim from oppressor… need to stand up against the United Nations assault on Israel via its ludicrous court.

A courageous interview by Ohad Hemo, which aired on Israel’s channel 12 television … which took in place in Gaza recently was aired in full, showing just exactly who is to blame for the very sad state of affaires in Gaza today. It comes from the mouths of the real victims. Hamas created Gaza’s suffering… and its victimhood comes from carefully calculated efforts to oppress their own people.
