President Biden has repeatedly actively interfered in Israel’s democracy with public and private criticism, lectures, pressures and demands in an attempt to overthrow the democratically elected Netanyahu government. America does not mask their dislike for the leaders our people have chosen to elect. American pressure helped convince Benny Gantz to leave the government, and even after this by nearly all accounts Israel’s government will remain intact with a 64-seat majority. There is a strong government in place and the Jewish State of Israel and the challenges it faces worldwide on a daily basis which must always be protected even if America doesn’t like who we elect.
President Biden has repeatedly pressured and lectured Israel, from demanding no invasion of Rafah and has lectured and warned Israel repeatedly – more times than he has Iran or Russia. Its noted and celebrated by Hamas and other enemies of the West.
As has been said loudly publicly and privately, America has withheld weapons from Israel. Against this backdrop, Prime Minister Netanyahu made a video in English where he rightfully berated the Biden administration for holdups in the supply of arms to Israel. As the Wall Street Journal reported this morning, the White House has not moved ahead with the sale of 50 F-15 fighter jets despite Congressional support for such a move. While the US denied any arms hold ups, claiming they are enroute, The White House also reportedly canceled high-level talks between American and Israeli security officials in Washington, DC.
So, To clarify, there is no delays in arms shipments except the delays in arms shipments, and if you talk about delays in arms shipments there will be penalties and delays in arms shipments. And cancelled meetings and penalties!!
Let’s hope this issue will be behind both the US and Israel as Islamic radicals in the region continue to believe that Israel is little Satan and America is the great Satan. We share common enemies and Western interests worldwide are in great danger.
In a world where a Hezbollah War seems imminent, Iran continues to make good on its desire to build a nuclear bomb, with the Russia-Ukraine situation for the Biden administration to play vicious hardball with Israel is out of place.
Yet, history often repeats itself.
On June 22 1982, Joe Biden was a Senator from Delaware and confronted then Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin during his Senate Foreign Relations committee testimony, threatening to cut off aid to Israel.
Begin forcefully responded, “Don’t threaten us with cutting off your aid. It will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid.”
Senator Biden reportedly banged on the table with his fist, and Begin retorted,
“This desk is designed for writing, not for fists. Don’t threaten us with slashing aid. Do you think that because the US lends us money it is entitled to impose on us what we must do? We are grateful for the assistance we have received, but we are not to be threatened. I am a proud Jew. Three thousand years of culture are behind me, and you will not frighten me with threats. Take note: we do not want a single soldier of yours to die for us.”
Thank you Prime Minister Netanyahu for reminding America and the world we Jews do not have trembling knees. Your video was right on and said loudly in a manner lovers of democracy and the West must hear. Worldwide the Jewish community will stand up strongly and loudly – even if we must do so alone – and say we are not Jews with trembling knees. We will stand up we will fight and we are right.
Am Israel Chai! The Jewish people live!

There have been periods throughout the ages when the Overlords had internal troubles or were at war with stronger enemies. The last known times were during the latter part of The Maccaabean period and the Bar Cocheba War. Your comment is a bit loose as Solomons Temple was not destroyed until about 400years + after his time, and the country WAS under several heels temporarily during that time.
I am open to correction
G-D played a bad joke on us getting the Israelites settled on the tiny strip of land; the only land route for one invading superpower to get to grips with Egypt.
If I am not mistaken. Israel has not been a sovereign nation since Solomon and the fist temple ceased to exist. They have always been a servant of the nations who ruled over them. Since 1948, Israel has begun to get off their knees, I believe it is now time for Israel to take their rightful God given position and stand up like the royal man they were created to be. Maybe, they should take a clue from Russia and STOP letting the Nations(world) push them around.
Adam,
I think you will get a good estimate of who the “trembling knees” population is. They are the ones who have taken the death shot, and continue to get boosters every time they have a cold.
Right on, Ron! I hope you are right that we no longer have trembling knees. Thanks also for praising Bibi’s gutsy taking on the Obama-Biden-Blinken screw Israel policy. And wonderful quote from Begin. Apparently Biden’s harrassment of Israel goes back a long time.
