A day of mourning? It doesn’t seem right, that Jews should be fasting in my honor — I seldom fast; I haven’t even done much dieting. Frankly, I think the Jews have too many fast days. If you want a commemorative activity to induce misery, I recomment jogging; and this would be a very, very appropriate way to mourn in my memory. Stories could be read to children about the unfortunate life of Michael S., who never jogged and then DIED! (It runs in the family, actually — all my ancestors have died). Parents can take the occasion to teach the virtues of jogging (all BS, of course), then send them off to run around the block several times while Mom and Dad stay home to take naps or nosh on baklava.
BTW, Arizona cast 11 votes for each candidate. Which set is accepted, will be decided on 20 Jan. 2020.
I just saw that Arizona has just cast it’s 11 Electoral votes for Trump. With his present number, it should make his total 285. This includes the votes of Nevada and the expected votes of Pennsylvania and Georgia. SO, the battle is shaping up.

We Jews have humour even in our sadness. You must have the usual “horny” knees, like the mythological James the brother of the bejesus, (forgive the expletive-it’s the Irish in me, combination of heritage and Bushmills, although I prefer Paddy, but Bushmills is known and Paddy isn’t.).., from all your talks with your favourite buddy.
Copy the Muslims and use a cushion or thick mat.
