T. Belman. MEFORUM argues, victory depends on Palestinians giving up and its up to Israel to make them give up
Will they ever give up? Will they ever accept Israel as the state of the Jews? How far is Israel willing to go to make them give up? Are we willing to bomb them into submission? Is this realistic?
I think not. What do you think?
The Jordan Option has a much better chance of succeeding
“The Israel Victory Project seeks to resolve the Israel-Arab conflict by convincing Palestinians that the Jewish state is tough, determined, and enduring, so that they give up their century-long war against it. The project draws on Israel’s pre-1993 policy of deterrence. It does not deal with the specifics of a final resolution. First recognition, then negotiation. First victory, then peace. Only when Palestinians end their rejectionism can they build their own polity, economy, society, and culture. Thus, is a Palestinians defeat for their benefit as well as Israel’s. The project focuses on decision-makers, opinion-shapers, and publics in Israel and the United States with an eye to reviving victory as a concept.”
The anti-Jewish Arabs in Eretz Israel will not give up, as long as they are aided and abetted by some of the most powerful countries in the world (Europe, Japan, the SCC and most of the Third World). If the current, anti-Israel government of the US does not change, it is likely there will be a concerted international attempt to eliminate Israel (I expect this to happen within the decade).
Israel exists today, largely because of its arsenal of nuclear weapons.
