Veteran SS division “Galichina” awarded with the honorary mark of distinction in Ternopil

Peloni: Ukrainians have finally provided a response to the Nazi who was celebrated last year by Zelensky and the Canadian parlaiment, and the response should be very troubling to those who still foolishly cling to the notion that Ukraine does not actually have a Nazi problem.  Indeed, how fitting is it that a Ukrainian SS Nazi received a Ukrainian award named after the notorious WWII Nazi collaborator Yaroslav Stesko.   Yes, Ukraine does have a Nazi problem, and they are in no way seeking a way to deal with it.  It will be interesting to see how many news groups in the West call on Zelensky to respond to this outrage and even more interesting to hear the deafening silence with which Zelensky will provide when he does not comment on the award made to the very real Nazi for whom he himself raised a cheer.

Ternopil Regional Council awarded the serviceman of the SS division “Galichina” Yaroslav Gunku with the honorary insignia “For Merits to Ternopil” named after Yaroslav Stetsko.

This is stated in the order of the head of the Ternopil Regional Council of February 6, 2024 No. 22.

Yaroslav Gunka received the award for “the displayed patriotism, outstanding achievements in the defense of the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine.”

Earlier, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologized for the ovations to Yaroslav Gounka, who was made in parliament.

“I want to emphasize that Canada is very sorry for the situation,” Trudeau continued.

At the same time, according to the prime minister, the incident was used by Russia in order to start “the fact that “there is a fact that Ukraine is fighting for.” Trudeau assured that Ottawa will continue its support for Kiev.

We also reported that the speaker of the House of Commons of the Parliament of Canada resigned after the scandal with the ovations of the SS.

“What happened on Friday is totally unacceptable. It’s a disgrace to the chamber, for the Canadians. I believe that the speaker should listen to the members of the House and resign,” said Foreign Minister Melanie Jooli.
