USA imposes sanctions on anti-aid protest organization

Peloni:  It is with the greatest disgust that America has taken on the role of subsidizing terrorist while sanctioning those who oppose them doing so.  This being stated, this should surprise no one as the current regime continues its realignment with Iran.

The US State Department imposed sanctions today on the Tzav 9 protest organization, whose activists have been blocking aid trucks from Jordan to the Gaza Strip.

The US imposed sanctions on the Tzav 9 protest organization, whose activists blocked and attacked the humanitarian aid trucks on their way to the residents of the Gaza Strip.

Tzav 9 has been operating for many months at the Kerem Shalom crossing and other points across the country in order to prevent the trucks from reaching their destination.

The organization emphasized after each activity that it is blocking the aid “that arrives as a gift directly into the hands of the Hamas terrorist organization – while our hostages are languishing in captivity. No aid will pass until the last of the abductees returns. We are sorry that the Israeli police are doing everything to transfer aid to Hamas terrorists. It’s a shame and disgrace. This huge, well-oiled machine must be stopped.”

“The Biden administration’s choice to impose sanctions on a movement in which families of hostages report to stop aid to the enemy in wartime, is a painful and shocking decision, and constitutes a grievous blow to the families, to Israeli democracy and to the concept of global freedom, which the United States has carried its banner since its inception. As has been extensively proven, the aid that was transferred went directly to the terrorist organization Hamas, which slaughtered, murdered and raped hundreds of women, elderly people, and children.”

“As the US administration did not contemplate providing aid to the Germans and Japanese during World War II, so too we do not stand idly by, and stood tall in a democratic and non-violent protest that included blocking and protesting only, without any damage to property or person, against the transfer of aid directly to Hamas. Israel deserves and has the right to win. We remind Blinken of his commitment in the War Cabinet on October 17, in which he promised to condemn Hamas seizing the aid and work to prevent that from happening. We will also gladly hand over to our great ally this morning’s videos showing Hamas terrorists on the trucks.”i

Tzav 9 activists throughout Israel have been reporting the location of aid convoys to the rest of the organization, allowing other activists to find and block major intersections between the convoys and Gaza. The truckers have been using several different routes in an attempt to evade the organization.

The protests to block the aid shipments have been the sites of repeated clashes between Israeli forces and protesters. Several shipments of aid have been destroyed during protests by the organization. More recently, protesters have burned the trucks and attacked the drivers, leading to difficulty in finding truck drivers willing to make the trip from Jordan to Gaza.

Despite this, COGAT claims that hundreds of trucks have still been reaching Gaza on a regular basis, delivering food, water, fuel, shelters, and medical supplies.

Tzav 9, meaning Order 9, gets its name from the Section 8 draft order allowing IDF reservists to be immediately mobilized for something that is not a national state of emergency.

The State Department statement read: “The Department of State is today designating Tzav 9, a violent extremist Israeli group that has been blocking, harassing, and damaging convoys carrying lifesaving humanitarian assistance to Palestinian civilians in Gaza. For months, individuals from Tzav 9 have repeatedly sought to thwart the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, including by blockading roads, sometimes violently, along their route from Jordan to Gaza, including in the West Bank. They also have damaged aid trucks and dumped life-saving humanitarian aid onto the road. On May 13, 2024, Tzav 9 members looted and then set fire to two trucks near Hebron in the West Bank carrying humanitarian aid destined for men, women, and children in Gaza. The provision of humanitarian assistance is vital to preventing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza from worsening and to mitigating the risk of famine. The Government of Israel has a responsibility to ensure the safety and security of humanitarian convoys transiting Israel and the West Bank enroute to Gaza. We will not tolerate acts of sabotage and violence targeting this essential humanitarian assistance. We will continue to use all tools at our disposal to promote accountability for those who attempt or undertake such heinous acts, and we expect and urge that Israeli authorities do the same.”

Retired Fighter Pilot Declares War on the Anarchists
    By David Israel – 21 Sivan 5784 – June 27, 2024

    https://www.jewishpress.com/news/left-vs-right/retired-fighter-pilot-declares-war-on-the-anarchists/2024/06/27/

Major (Reserve) Shay Kallach, a former F-16 pilot and founder and chairman of the Netzah Israel Movement, on Thursday declared victory over two mayors who had declared a general strike in their municipalities, keeping out citizens who were looking for service. Both mayors folded, according to Kallach, when they were threatened with personal lawsuits for declaring illegal strikes.

The strikes in Ramat HaSharon and Pardes Hana-Karkur were supposed to be part of the anarchist/fascist “Day of Warning,” which included blocking traffic on major national arteries during morning rush hour, to cause rank and file Israelis anguish and financial ruin (Fascists Block Traffic on Israel’s Highway 2, ‘Won’t Stop Until Government Resigns’).

The most important thing we must learn is this: force will be answered with force, and this is what will stop the anarchy in the streets,” Kallach tweeted Thursday morning.

“Only wanton anarchists are capable of harming the spirit of the people during a war and we will not let them,” declared Kallach, adding:

“We call on the entire national camp to unite under the following principles:
    1. A personal lawsuit will be weighed against the directors of any public company that strikes, on the grounds of damage to shareholders.
    2. Any public authority that strikes will risk a personal claim against its managers and decision-makers.
    3. Any business that strikes will be boycotted by the national camp. Our purchasing power is the biggest in this economy.
    4. Purchasing should be enhanced this Thursday, especially in businesses owned by IDF reservists who took an active part in the war.
    5. Those who can instruct their company’s purchasing managers to concentrate their procuring especially on this Thursday – God bless you.

“The people of Israel have suffered enough years from a lordly tyranny. Following the Kaplanism and the military coup attempt of ‘Brothers in Arms,’ this nation has awakened and started walking, and it won’t be possible to stop it. Remember – nations have always overthrown dictatorial regimes. This is the way.”

Of course, by “dictatorial regimes,” the reservist fighter pilot meant the Supreme Court and the rest of the permanent government of Israel.

  2. Another Infamous action by the U.S, State Department. By the way, whose “humanitarian aid convoy” was travelling through the so-called “West Bank?” Probably ‘humanitarian aid” from Hamasd to Hamas.
