U.S. was warned of terror attacks by Iran

Will the US be deterred from standing up to Iran or N Korea or in trying to bring on the fall of Assad, by a terror campaign at home. How many deaths will America sustain before it caves? On the other hand is America prepared to bring about regime change in Iran to stop the bombs going off in the US itself. Ted Belman

By Reza Kahlili, WND

Although it is not known yet who is responsible for Monday’s heinous bombings at the Boston Marathon that killed three and injured more than 100 people, a source within Iranian intelligence services told WND the Islamic regime was behind them and to look for trails through Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The source said the bombs were planted near the end of the race so that the horrific images of the blasts would be captured by all the media there and be replayed over and over throughout the world.

A senior commander of the Islamic regime had warned less than two months ago that terrorism was coming to America.

“If the people of America and Europe do not confront the aggressive policies of their governments, they cannot then remain far from the possible future events (terror attacks),” the regime’s armed forces deputy chief of staff, Brig. Gen. Masoud Jazayeri, said in a Feb. 23 interview with Fars News Agency, a media outlet run by the Revolutionary Guards. “Al-Qaida groups and other services which operate for the interests of America (in Syria) will soon change the region of their operations and thereafter create new problems for America and Europe.”

Jazayeri, objecting to U.S. involvement in the Syrian civil war, warned that explosions similar to those in Syria would take place in other countries.

With information from a source in the supreme leader’s office, WND reported exclusively on Dec. 11, 2012, that a team of Quds Force terrorist leaders had infiltrated the United States to attack from within in 2013. The source said the team is to create instability in America through terrorism should the U.S. fail to accept the regime’s illicit nuclear program or increase sanctions, confront Iran militarily or intervene in the Syrian civil war.

In a WND exclusive report on Feb. 28, the source said that a six-member team, including an explosives specialist, was to join 10 Quds Force commanders who already have a cell of 50 terrorists in the U.S. The source added that Iran is working with al-Qaida factions because al-Qaida attacks would not leave behind a link to Tehran.

The source for today’s information blamed the Islamic regime for the Boston attack and pointed to the collaboration of the regime’s Quds Forces with Hezbollah and elements of al-Qaida with links to individuals in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. He said that under Quds Force guidance, Hezbollah recruited Sunni terrorists allied with al-Qaida factions in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, who then entered the U.S. for terrorist activities.

The information has been shared with U.S. officials.

But until the FBI and other U.S. agencies complete their investigations, all information regarding the bombings must be considered with great caution and any conclusions would be premature.

If the source is correct, however, then three individuals will likely have had a hand in planning and preparing for the attack:

Mustafa Badr Al Din, the brother-in-law and cousin of the dead terrorist Imad Mugniyah, who now serves as Mugnyiah’s replacement as the military leader of Hezbollah and who also serves as the deputy of Qasem Soliemani, the head of the Islamic regime’s Quds Forces.
Mohammad Ali Hamadei, on the FBI’s most-wanted list, a Hezbollah operator responsible for operation and infiltration of forces into America who was based in New Mexico with a Latin American passport and who was also seen last year in England.
Talal Hamieh, the head of Hezbollah’s External Security Organization responsible for operations outside of Lebanon. He has been in Mexico collaborating with drug cartels to raise funds for Hezbollah cells and facilitates the transfer of arms and terrorists into the U.S.
Both Badr Al Din and Hamieh were designated for sanctions by the U.S. Treasury Department last year for their involvement in terrorist activities throughout the world.

In the aftermath of the Boston bombings, Fars News Agency put out a piece headlined, “Obama in deep trouble if Boston bombing was by Salafis (ultraconservative Sunni Muslims).”

Fars said one reason that Obama has not linked the Boston bombing to al-Qaida is that his administration wants to show it has defeated al-Qaida and any mention of the terrorist group would undermine his position.

It ominously mentioned that America is now allied with the Salafis and al-Qaida in confronting Syria’s Bashar Assad and that if it’s proven that the same elements were responsible for the bombings in Boston, then Obama would be severely criticized by the American public.

Fars, as with the earlier warning by Jazayeri, denounced Obama’s decision to help the opposition in Syria and hinted that the Boston attack is related to al-Qaida and the hardcore Sunnis. It concluded that Obama would likely not name them as the guilty party to save face.

Although the Islamic regime has long warned that America will not be safe from its reach and that it must not only accept Iran’s nuclear program but also end its support for the opposition in Syria, there is no proven link yet between Boston and Tehran.

  1. @ Gerald A. Honigman:

Unwise are people who exclude any possibility from the onset.
It is very likely that Iran at this very moment is involved in global terrorism and whether it is related or not to Boston is irrelevant. Same for Qatar and SA. Russia support Iran! How far and how deep is Russia support?

  2. I have a problem believing that the Iranians would be so stupid at such a delicate time when the Israelis are trying to convince the Obama White House to either act with or allow Israel to act alone against the Mad Mullahs.

  3. It may not matter.
Iran has been involved in worldwide terrorism and until it is dealed with anything can happen.
Who knows how many terrorists have crossed into the US through Mexico!

  4. Your wasting your time looking for weapons and the culprits. You need to break out the guns and build more concentration camps and start rounding all of them up. Islam is not a religion, it is a fanatical creed that believes there are fairies at the bottom of the garden. The Caliphate invaded Europe in the past and were kicked out by Vlad Tepes, Charles Martel, Ferdinand and Isabel and The Austrians in 1683. Get real!

  5. After Boston I think the lefts anti gun thrust and legislation will be put in mothballs.

It will however enhance the power of government and lead to further dilution of individual liberty in America as a tradeoff for increased security.

The absolute evil of improvised explosive devices (IED) rests with their ability to assume any shape, form, or composition. That is, if you can hold it, sit upon it, use it, or stand near to it, it can represent an explosive device. Such a weapon can materialize as a tractor-trailer rig or as a small stuffed teddy bear, depending upon the ingenuity and raw evil of the designer. The actual explosive employed within the IED may range from military and commercial grade chemicals to being fashioned from concentrated hydrogen peroxide bleach and acetone paint solvent (producing triacetone triperoxide, C9H18O6, or TATP). Shrapnel, in the form of environmental or intentional design, can travel outwards from the blast at 10,000+ feet per second (fps). In comparison, the 5.56mm (.223 caliber) round of the infamous AR-15 or M-16 rifle exits the barrel at, perhaps, 3000 fps. In short, one singular IED event, such as that which happened yesterday in Boston, could do far more damage than all of the “assault weapons” sold within the United States have.

And the United States legislature remains incapable of outlawing pressure cookers, cleansing bleach, paint solvents, and nylon backpacks.

There is a possibility of Iran, syria and/or hezbullah. Hezbullah has experience in foreign terror attacks,

    the debka llink says

All three hail from a prominent Saudi family belonging to a tribe from the Asir province bordering on Yemen.

The origins of the Saudi cell, if confirmed, strongly suggest that Al Qaeda of Arabia – AQAP –succeeded in planting a cell in the United States for the bombing attack in Boston – and possibly more than one in other parts of the US. Asir Province is known as a hotbed of resistance to the Saudi throne in Riyadh.

If this is true it could be assumed that any rebellion to Saudi monarchy would have Iranian backing and finance.
If I was Iran/Syria/hezbullah and wanted to get the US, what better way than incriminating the saudis in the US public eye. If saudis were there, even if innocent, the seed is planted.

  8. There is a possibility of Iran, syria and/or hezbullah. Hezbullah has experience in foreign terror attacks, they are said to have cells in the US. They could discredit the saudis and harm the US at the same time. They could focus a scandal on the US/Saudi/jihadi relationship in Syria. All 3 are very angry and threatening towards the US. Fronting a saudi would make sense. They appear to me to be the best choices, perhaps the US will even cover up their involvement to avoid criticism, its been done before.

My niece ran last year the NYC marathon and their security was no where near what was at Boston this year.

I’m sure your niece is a security comparison analyst expert, with years of academy training. All this while running a marathon, too.

Please give us a detailed analysis. How many dog sniffers? How mainly police? How many emergency teams? You really cannot and this is getting ridiculous.

The NYC Marathon’s secuirty costs enough money to the city that already back in 2011, Bloomberg said he wanted the organizers to cover it.

  10. @ Shy Guy:

Not quite the level of security for the Boston Marathon rivaled the Olympics. My niece ran last year the NYC marathon and their security was no where near what was at Boston this year. Find a comparison from this years security level to past years.

Emerson did not clear the Saudi he just repeated what the authorities said. Duh??? Yes they have signs of Jihadi attacks and also non Jihadi attacks. I understand the bomb making recipes and plans are all freely available on the internet so saying they have ” the bombings have all the signs of a jihad attack.” maybe be true but it doesn’t mean they were Muslim Jihadis. Anyway Emerson see Jihadis under his bed and in his closets too. That’s what he does and earn him a living. Do you expect him so say or blame anyone else?

According to Shoebat the Saudi whose name he says is from a fanatical Saudi Wahhabi part of the Saudi ruling family.

“Innocent” Saudi spotted with two other Saudis at Marathon?</strong

Ok, so authorities are not denying that Alharbi was injured in the blast and they are not denying that he is a Saudi national (don’t look for them to even acknowledge that six members of the Alharbi clan are with Al-Qaeda and five were detained at Gitmo, to include one on the list of six). These authorities are, however, denying that Alharbi had anything to do with the bombings.

That leads to what appears to be three Saudis being spotted near the scene of the explosions. Note that one has what appears to be a backpack over his shoulder,

    via Asian Week:

    recap…

A Saudi national named Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi – who has six relatives belonging to Al Qaeda and five that were detained at Gitmo – was injured at the scene of terrorist bombings at the Boston marathon. The bombings had certain characteristics that indicate they were the work of Al Qaeda.

Now we have a photo(s) of what very well could be three Saudis, to include at least one who resembles Alharbi at the scene of the bombings.

And Alharbi went from ‘person of interest’ to completely innocent in less than 24 hours?

    Smell coverup yet?

    @ Shy Guy:

I don’t believe he was ever was a real terrorist either… That does not mean that he is not knowledgeable and has good sources. I am eclectic in my sources and what I choose to believe or reject from each. Same with all sources like debka. Initial reports said that multiple bombs were discovered that that did not ignite. Police discounted the reports later. Do we believe the Police? In full? Partially? Or not at all?

There were reports of explosion and fire at JFK library

Maybe but if so, then it’s no different than your skeptical guesses and assumptions that it’s no “big deal”.

Logically wrong because it is common these days to see this occur at public events in the US. Therefore it is an indication of business as usual.

The Saudi suspect has already been ruled out.

My only take on this so far is that there was a warning and the amount of security and type of security at the marathon indicates it. If not why so much beefed up security this year as opposed to previous years, especially a bomb squad with dogs at the finish line.

Debbie thinks there is something that is not right as does Shoebat.

While there is no confirmation yet on whether the blasts were the result of a terrorist attack, Stevenson said something he saw before the race was unusual.

“At the starting line this morning, they had bomb sniffing dogs and the bomb squad out there,” he said. “They kept announcing to runners not to be alarmed, that they were running a training exercise.”

He added, “I’ve run a lot of races like this one, but I never saw bomb dogs at the starting line of any running event. It led me to believe that something like (a bomb detonation) might have happened.”

  15. @ yamit82:

Okay, in your experience, speculate on who done it. Could it be North Korea, Iran, Hezbollah, right or left wingers, the Rockefeller Foundation, the UN, Pope Francis, the New York Times, Obama…?

  16. @ Dean:

Muslims always take credit. Sometimes different groups who hate each other claim responsibility.

America has no shortage of NUTS, hate groups, white supremacists, black supremacists, and everything in-between and yes Islamist Jihad wannabees as well. The there is a government admin in trouble and it’s not unheard of for them to manufacture incidents like Gulf of Tonkin incidents or Remember The Main. Seems like every week or so some American nut goes bonkers and offs a bunch of Americans. Keeps the 24 hr. news cycles going for 72 hours or so to something else replaces it.

I have 25 years experience as a participant fighter against and witness to many kinds of terror and I am not comfortable with what seems obvious to most observers and analysts. I smell a rat.

  17. There is no shortage of suspects but the fact that Muslim groups are taking credit with morbid delight tells me that they or their friends had something to do with it. Perhaps there are multiple layers of terrorists working to bury the identity of the original perpetrators. Certainly there are many in mosques staffed by hateful Imams throughout North America preaching jihad and raising new generations of home grown terrorists.
