“civil war” I don’t think the powers-that-be are this dumb. They are probably just letting the discontented blow off steam, send the protests in the wrong directions to divide-and-conquer, and failing that, they will declare martial law with the military in the streets, more lockdowns, arrests, mandatory vaccinations, etc., although, I think, it would be rather foolhardy with 400 million guns in legal ownership by the citizens who will get pretty miserable by then.
The future is hard to predict, but things are looking very very grim for America. Some of my friends think there will be a civil war. It is hard to believe that all whites will take this on the chin forever. With the Republican leadership, including Trump, doing nothing to stop the violence and instead more or less joining the Democrats in siding with the rioters, militia groups, perhaps dominated by white nationalists, may fill in the gap caused by the disarming of the police and the rfusal of public officials to quash the rebellion and act as self-appointed protectors of white neighborhoods. That will mean civil war.
