The big tech companies exemption from lawsuits for libel, false advertising, etc. must end. They were given to them by Congress on the theory that they were “opinion neutral” public forums. Actually, they are private publishers who frequently refuse to publish opinions with which they disagree, just as all private book publishers do. Their exemption from lawsuits must end.

I believe that a) Cookies should be illegal. No one should have the right to install monitoring of us on our personal property, or mine our communications for information.
The tax exemption for internet advertising, while “physical” stores are taxed, is outrageous. It has driven innumerable stores, not only small businesses but even large department store chains, out of business. It has enabled the few large companies who only use the internet for sales to establish monopolies and drive out completion. This should end.
