A few weeks ago, I spoke to someone that I respect and trust. I was told Trump is asking the Egyptians to get involved militarily in a campaign against the Houthis. The request, as far as I know, was to send boots on the ground. Whilst I am not sure whether it will be boots on the ground or limited air strikes, it now seems like the Egyptians have accepted and are preparing for this campaign. It’s an excellent move by Trump. Biden wouldn’t have been able to secure this commitment.
Houthis are damaging considerably the economy of Egypt.
A time may come for dealing with the Egyptian MBH!
