Right-wing Dutch lawmaker pushes alternative to Trump’s Mideast peace plan, calling for transferring Arabs from Judea & Samaria to Jordan.
A right-wing Dutch parliamentarian is calling for the transfer of Palestinian Authority residents from Judea and Samaria to Jordan, offering the plan as an alternative to the US-backed ‘Deal of the Century’ Middle East peace plan.
Geert Wilders, chairman of the rightist Party for Freedom (PVV), said Thursday in response to this week’s US-backed economic summit in Bahrain that President Donald Trump’s Mideast peace plan was part of a futile effort to maintain the Palestinian Authority, which he called a “bottomless” well the international community has been “throwing money into in vain”.
Speaking with Dutch reported Ernst Lissauer Thursday, Wilders offered his own plan, first unveiled in 2010, as an alternative to the US plan.
“A fifty-billion dollar plan for the Palestinians was presented to the world by the US this week in oil state Bahrain,” Wilders said.
“For more than two years, work has been done on a Middle East peace plan that should end, among other things, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The financial part of the plan was presented to the world in Bahrain this week. A ‘Marshall plan’ that should put an end to the bottomless Palestinian well into which the UN has been depositing money in vain for sixty years.”
But, Wilders continued, there seems to be little support for the plan in the European Union, with the money being “coughed up mainly by rich Arab states.”
“In The Hague there is hardly any interest in this Trump project. My plan, the Wilders plan, is a better plan; all Palestinians back to Jordan.”
In 2010, Wilders proposed renaming the Kingdom of Jordan as ‘Palestine’, and turning the country into a homeland for residents of the Palestinian Authority.
“Jordan is Palestine. Changing its name to Palestine will end the conflict in the Middle East and provide the Palestinians with an alternate homeland.”
The PVV, which is now the second largest faction in the Dutch House of Representatives, came under fire by the Jordanian government for the proposal, which Jordan described as “delusional”.

I talked to Mudar and he tells me that he overstated the case. He is working on a new posting that clarifies. It didn’t happen but there is a renewed threat to make it happen.
Mudar’s family is being protected. That’s why it hasn’t happened.

@ Ted Belman: Ted, Mudar Zahran has posted a message on his blogsite to the effect that “thugs” in the employ of Abdullah II have burned his father’s house in Amman down and assaulted his mother and parents. At least, that’s what the post says. It also says that he (Mudar?) has reported the incident to the British counter-terrroism police and the U.S. Congress.
At least, the message seems to be about Mudar and his family. But perhaps he is relaying a message from a correspondent in Amman whose family has been subjected to these outrages, not Mudar’s own family. From the English google translation, it is hard to be sure who Mudar is talking about.
Ted, could you contact Mudar and find out what this is all about? Is his family in Amman OK, or are they in serious trouble? If it is not his family that has been subjected to these outrages, whose family is it? I am concerned for Mudar’s safety and that of his friends and associates in Amman. Please contact him through whatever channels you have and report back to us.
Although he has posted other messages, Mudar Zahran has not been able to post any videos of protest demonstrations in Jordan since JUne 9. That was three weeks ago. The last two videos of demonstrations that he was able to post on that day showed the demonstraters being loaded into paddy wagons and driven away by the police. Obviously the “Empire” is striking back.
Ted, please find out from Mudar what is going on and give us a full report?

Ted, you’ve been saying for the past two years that the Jordan Option will happen soon. What makes you think this time it will happen? When do you Mudar will be installed as President?
In theory having large amount of Pal-Arabs move to Jordan would solve the conflict between the “Palestinians” and Israel. In practice is this realistic? Since Jordan is a poor country where there are not enough jobs or housing and the young people there if they get a chance would emigrate from anyway.
Pal-Arabs in Judea/Samaria/Gaza want to emigrate is the good news but the bad news for believers in the Jordan option is that people do not want to go to Jordan but out of the Arab world. So perhaps another paradigm is needed such as Sherman’s or something similar. Assist the Pal-Arabs move elsewhere voluntarily and purchase properties from those who actually own them.
