Wea re all depending on the coming results of a variety of court verdicts, as well as, particularly, the double extra vigilance the Repubs will HAVE to put in place to monitor the vote ingress and counting, PLUS the expected HUGE surge from Trump supported and recommended candidates. He may even be a candidate himself. He wisely is keeping his own intentions secret from the public…so far.
It will be almost “,mayhem in the streets” I’m thinking.
Which means that the Republicans have to defend almost twice as many seats as the Ds, thus opening up a real possibility that the Ds will emerge even more powerful than they are today. Should Pelosi’s election fraud bill become law, there is no way to avoid a Republican rout in 2022 and the end of America as we know it, where the country becomes as much as a one-party state as NY, Chicago, DC, Detroit and nearly every large city have become one-party jurisdictions.
Basically….that’s what I’m saying. I can’t see that anything I’ve said could be described as “a nice thought’…What I pointed out was how complicated it would be, requiring assets which likely wuld not be at hand.
Its a nice thought but not realistic.
@ Ted Belman:
That does not, at first glance seem good. It means the Repubs need to find 34 SUITABLE, RELIABLE candidates, who are not connected, in some way to the Swamp. Some of the Repub 20 seats assumedly are good, but there are others, who are renegades. And, I can’t see Collins losing her seat, because she’s primarily elected by Democrats in a totally Dem State. And there may be others.
So Trump and Co. need to do some really DEEP back search. How many Repobs are hanging around with Senate skills. Perhaps some Congressmen, which will then require suitable replacements for them. And if they lose, they are in limbo unti, 2024.
“Elections to the U.S. Senate will be held on November 8, 2022, and 34 of the 100 seats are up for regular election. Special elections may be held to fill vacancies that occur in the 117th Congress. Those elected to the U.S. Senate in the 34 regular elections in 2022 will begin their six-year terms on January 3, 2023.”
Of which 14 are held by democrats.
It’s not a plan, merely a speculation in the mind of the writer- who doesn’t identify himsel .
Now this is a brilliant plan. I love this plan.
