“There will be no more UNRWA. Not in Gaza, not in the PA and not in Jerusalem. The era of incitement education is over.”

The Foreign Affairs and Security Committee chaired by MK Yuli Edelstein, held a confidential discussion today (Wednesday) with the participation of the Chief of Staff for National Security Tzachi Hanegbi, during which he said that the residents of Gaza will not return to the northern Gaza Strip – until the end of the war.
The head of the National Assembly Tzachi Hangabi said that we are facing a multi-arena campaign that includes eight arenas. The first is in Gaza, the second is on the Lebanese border, “but it could develop into a war if a settlement is not reached through diplomatic means,” according to Hangabi. The third arena is in Yemen, and Hangabi added that “It poses a threat on two fronts, one is shooting at the State of Israel, while the other is the campaign against freedom of navigation.”
The fourth arena is in Syria, “which continues to be conducted even after October 7. The fifth arena is Iraq, which wishes to be a partner in the campaign through Shiite militias. Also Iran, which is actually the generator of all the other arenas, when all of them have an Iranian hand, whether through financing, armaments, guidance or assistance in other ways. There are efforts to harm Israeli and Jewish targets.” As for the last arena, the Judea and Samaria arena, according to Hanegbi: “It is an arena that has intensified in the last three months, and includes intense activity by the security forces.”
According to the head of the MLA, the most important goal before all is the return of the abductees. He referred to the issue of the day after Hamas, and said that a discussion on this has already begun in the cabinet. According to him, the discussion on the issue was delayed because he requested a month and a half for a comprehensive and in-depth staff work together with all the bodies and factors The relevant ones. As part of this work, 12 central issues and dilemmas were raised that will need to be dealt with when decisions are made. Hanegbi said that a serious and comprehensive discussion will have to take place, but at the same time “it is too early to talk about the day after Hamas when Hamas has not yet been decided.”
The chairman of the committee, MK Yuli Edelstein, added that “there is a lively discussion about the day after. Well, I will reveal a little about the day after. The day after there will be no Palestinian element educating its children to kill Jews. There will be no more UNRWA. Not in Gaza, not in the PA and not in Jerusalem. The era of incitement education is over
The headline of this article was finally addressed in the last paragraph, but at least it was mentioned as an “add-on”.
Why has that decision not been enforced ever since signing the Oslo Accords back in1994, 30 years ago?
