Here yet again we see that Islam is at the basis of the “Palestinian” conflict and is constantly invoked by those who support the “Palestinian jihad.” This guy is arguing against a “Palestinian” state not because he is pro-Israel, but because he believes that the entire Islamic umma should be united into a single caliphate, and that nation-states are infidel abominations. This has been the consistent position of Islamic leaders for years, while Western “experts” steadfastly ignore the role of Islam in the Israeli / “Palestinian” as well as in all issues involving Muslim countries. This is foolish and short-sighted in the extreme, and stems from the falsehoods that foreign policy analysts have been told about Islam and Sharia by Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups in the U.S.
“Al-Aqsa Mosque Address By Palestinian Islamic Scholar Issam Amira: Palestinian Nationalism Is A ‘Heretical Innovation’ Created By The Sykes-Picot Agreement To Prevent The Rise Of Islam, Which Is The Only Valid Identity, Political System,” MEMRI, November 11, 2022:
Palestinian Hizb ut-Tahrir-affiliated Islamic scholar Issam Amira said in a sermon at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem that any form of Arab nationalism, including Palestinian nationalism, is a “colonial heretical innovation” that is the product of the Sykes-Picot Agreement….
Issam Amira: “The fact is that we do not belong to Palestine. On Judgement Day, nobody will summon the Palestinians to enter [Paradise] from a specific door. Palestinian citizenship neither unites nor separates us. This national colonial heretical innovation was created by Sykes and Picot, who divided us into Palestinians, Jordanians, Algerians, Sudanese, and so on. A century has passed, and we are still suffering from this national-based division. This division is rotten. It stinks. Anyone who says that there is a Palestinian camp is deluding himself and does not know how things work.

“What is our identity? Muslims. We are Muslims.”

“Jordan is null and void. Egypt is null and void. Algeria where [the Palestinian factions met] is null and void. They are all harmful and artificial mini-states that rose on the ruins of the Islamic Caliphate, which was destroyed a century ago.

“Even if they establish their state on Palestine’s soil in its entirety, without a single Jew in it, they will be considered to be misguided and to be leading [people] astray, just like Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Sudan, Indonesia, and Pakistan. There is no such thing as a Palestinian state. There is only Islam. The political system in Islam is a caliphate.
“When a Muslim calls for a nation-state, it is a disaster. A Muslim who says ‘I am Palestinian, my blood is Palestinian, and I want a Palestinian state’ is misguided and lost.
“National sentiment is not part of shari’a law. It emerged from the Sykes-Picot Agreement and has nothing to do with Islam. National sentiment means affiliation with soil. If the Prophet Muhammad was affiliated with soil, he would have remained in Mecca. Therefore, national sentiment and pan-Arabism are deplorable terms that cannot coexist with Islam. We are Muslim and nothing else.
“The Islamic land covers 20 million square kilometers. Listen to this: 20 million square kilometers! I’m talking just about the land, without the sea. Historical Palestine in its entirety is just 27 or 28 thousand square kilometers.
“Colonialism has filled our heads with filth. ‘My homeland Kuwait, you have proposed to glory…’ ‘Palestinian, oh Palestinian…’ ‘Kuwait comes first,’ ‘Egypt above all,’ ‘Oh Jordan, our Jordan whatever…’ Fairuz slaughtered us [with her songs about Palestine], which are as empty as can be.
“What is going through your mind and through the minds of the Muslims? This is all garbage that the infidels have instilled in our heads because they do not want this [Islamic] nation to rise.”
