The Palestinian Opposition Coalition Issues a Press Releases
Goal: To Replace the Muslim Brotherhood, PA and Hamas – Palestinians, we need you!
Publically Challenges all parties to a debate – how, why and should they represent us?
(Ramallah and Gaza) – The Palestinian Opposition Coalition (POC) today released their political platform, complete with surprises that including a constitution, secularism and a promise to fight terrorism by outlawing terrorist groups and their actions.
“Those who say they represent us, have failed,” Mohammad Zanati, The POC’s Deputy Secretary General said. “That includes the PA, Fatah, PLO, Hamas, King of Jordan and Muslim Brotherhood,”
“They have a horrible political track record and zero political platform other than to oppress the people and keep them down,” Zanati continued. “They won’t even listen to suggestions on how to solve problems, nor represent us at any forum.”
“We want a solution. We want Jobs. We want to put food on the table,” Mohammad Buhaisi, the POC’s Secretary General added. “So we wrote our own platform, and believe this represents what the Palestinian people want, not what those terrorist groups tell us that we want and must settle for.”
According to Buhaisi, “The POC’s aim is to honestly and legitimately represent the Palestinian people.”
According to Zanati, “Our vision for peace is simple: Palestinian autonomy in accordance with the implementation of accepted international treaties”.
“Strong consideration of unification with Jordan will be contemplated,” Zanati said.
“There’s no other way for peace and prosperity for us, every other argument or suggestion has failed since 1948,” Buhaisi added. “We want peace with Israel, we want to become Israel’s partners not competitors”.
The POC platform is online at www.PalestinianOpposition.com, and touches on the following subjects: (note: This is a summary. For complete details, download the document).
- Mission Statement: The POC wishes to secure, define, promote and implement democratic institutions that ensure secularism while expanding human rights, peaceful coexistence and economic prosperity for Palestinians in an effort to enhance the stability of the region. Hopefully this will jump start discussions that will lead to both peace and reparations.
- Charter Revision(s): The Charter’s sections vowing the destruction of Israel and Jews will be eliminated, and the Charter turned into a real Constitution.
- Economic Vision: Contains economic plans that create jobs while supporting the Bahrain Conference.
- Equality: Calls for the establishment of a secular government, with equal rights regardless of race, religion, creed, or sexuality.
- Education: Is open to all, with various graduation incentives.
- Religious Freedom: The future Palestinian state will be based on secularism, with an Islamic identity, the same way the western nations are recognized as religious, but enact secular laws. Social, political or economic discrimination against religions, including Judaism, will be outlawed and strictly enforced thanks to the establishment of a counter-racism and discrimination act.
- Counter Terrorism Statement(s): The Palestinian state will have zero tolerance for terrorism, anti-Semitism and hatred in any form. To support this, counter-terrorism statutes will be enacted banning all terror groups and their affiliates.
- Refugees: The settlement of Palestinian refugees is the foundation for a solution to the refugee problem. Because Jordan is already the home to the majority of the Palestinian people, it offers the best long-term solution for the settlement of the refugee issue.
- Regional Relations: With Israel, Saudi Arabia & the Gulf States, Egypt, Iran and Jordan.
- Elections: Regular national and regional elections will be held once terror groups have been dissolved. Groups supporting terror will be banned by law from running for public office.
- Constitution: Constitution commission establishment, with a national vote within 2 years.
- Deal of the Century & The Bahrain Economic Conference: Position Statement.
“These are all concepts that the other guys do not provide to the Palestinian people,” Zanati reminded us. “Many governments had an Arab spring, and this is ours.”
According to Buhaisi, “We challenge all parties to a public debate on not only if they should be our representatives, but how and why they should represent us.”
@ honeybee:
He often comments on Arutz 7 as “Shmuel HaLevi”, but signs off as “Gaucho Sam”….No idea why..???!!
@ Bear Klein:
Send money ten to your Colorado relative, they have causes all kinds of mischief looking for treats
@ honeybee:My business is doing okay so I no longer need to partake in those activities Bee.
I believe I mat have found a relative of Ha Levi living in New Mexico. How are you? visited any garbage dumps lately. ? There was a video of you in Aspen robbing a garbage can behind a “Pot Shop”. I thought ah there goes Dov again
@ Bear Klein:
I was not consulted by Mudar on the preparation for both the Press Release and the Platform. I told Mudar that I wanted to rewrite the Press Release and to withdraw the Platform until he is the President of Jordan. I told Mudar that when this happens that I will redo the Platform as appropriate.
He agreed.
This is a recipe for disaster. They will demand an Arab state in all of J&S plus they want reparations. When did Jews get any reparations from Arabs. Seems like this guy just wants to get his hands on the billions raised in Bahrain. Israel needs to send its Arabs to Jordan. Not give billions to any group to improve their lives in Israel. I don’t care how much peace they promise. This is a bad idea.
@ honeybee:Honeybee I am bald not senile, of course I remember you!
The person I believe you are referencing, I think has commented a few times lately.
@ Bear Klein:
Bear Remember me? I am looking to contact HaLevi is he still on the Pundit
If they are appealing to Palestinians why is there no Arabic. Yet there is a page asking for donations.
Is this suggesting an Jordan erection? Think this would work against a fix? It’s a nice idea going no place. Who learns from who? King greaseball or abbarse.
At least they have a platform to vote on, Israel has bupkus other than who will sit with the dictator.
