It is essential to Israel’s existence that she debunk the Occupation Lie: Declare San Remo Day, Yom San Remo. Op-ed.

On October 7, 2023, we witnessed the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust. We got a glimpse of what a Muslim ‘return’ looks like and what it means for our children. These horrific attacks will continue to e touted as a result of the “Occupation Lie”, although the real reason is simple Jew-hatred.
Now is the time for Israel to declare Yom San Remo and finally debunk the “Occupation” Lie.
If not now, when?
The Jews are not now, and have never been, occupiers, for Israel is the legal and historical country for the Jewish people, as declared by the League of Nations and the UN.
The battle cry:
Palestine will be free from the River to the Sea.
And that means the elimination of Israel: the Jewish homeland.
The false accusation of “Occupier” is the excuse given for the massacre.
Barack Hussein Obama, past President of the USA, a Muslim who hid his religion from the America people(why?) declared following the massacre of babies, women and children, beheadings and the incineration of Jews while still alive:
“What Hamas did was horrific, and there’s no justification for it,” Obama said, following that statement immediately by saying, “And, what is also true is that the occupation and what’s happening to Palestinians is unbearable. And what is true is that there are people right now who are dying who have nothing to do with what Hamas did.”
“One who is attacked has the right of self-defense, but I am very concerned about the total siege under which Palestinians are living in Gaza, where there also have been many innocent victims.”
“Terrorism and extremism will not help reach a solution to the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, but only increase hatred, violence and vengeance and only make each other suffer.”
There is no moral equivalency between the massacre of Jewish civilians by Muslim barbarians, and Israel’s response, any more than there is a moral equivalency regarding the actions of the Nazis who blamed the Jews for their fate and the Allies’ response.
Muslims and Nazis blame the Jews for their own eradication.
Nazis—who regarded Jews not only as members of a subhuman race but as a dangerous cancer that would destroy the German people—sought the “final solution to the Jewish question,” the murder of all Jews— men, women, and children—and their eradication from the human race. In Nazi ideology that perceived Jewishness to be biological, the elimination of the Jews was essential to the purification and even the salvation of the German people.
Now, more than ever:
It is essential to Israel’s existence that she debunk the Occupation Lie: Declare Yom San Remo
Of course, the Pope, Obama, the Nazis and the Muslims were not alone in attacking the Jews.
A letter signed by more than 30 Harvard law student organizations intimated that the Jews have it coming to us claiming that Hamas’s barbarism “did not occur in a vacuum,” and that “the apartheid regime is the only one to blame.” (Some of them, thankfully, were stripped of job offers as a result. Imagine having a lawyer who was pro-massacres of babies) Worse still, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres opened his October 23 speech to the Security Council by asserting, “the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum.”
Tara Tarawneh, a student at the University of Pennsylvania & writer for Penn’s student newspaper, glorified the massacre of Jews at a pro-Hamas rally: “I remember feeling so empowered and happy…I want all of you to hold that feeling in your hearts.”
“The fictitious “Palestinian People,” a collective noun, was created by the Soviet disinformation masters in 1964 when they created the Palestinian Liberation Organization, the “PLO”. The term “Palestinian People” as a descriptive of Arabs in Palestine appeared for the first time in the preamble of the 1964 PLO Charter, drafted in Moscow. The Charter was affirmed by the first 422 members of the Palestinian National Council, handpicked by the KGB.
Thousands of years of fear have set the table for more fear. But we are no longer a people wandering in the desert. The Jewish people have their state; a state with thousands of years of history – from archeological proof, including coins from the year 69 C.E with the words “For the Redemption of Zion” in ancient Hebrew lettering to legal documents found in Genizas in the Middle East. We are mentioned on the steles in Egypt and the arches in Rome.
The Palestine Liberation Organization(PLO) has the Palestinian National Charter, which has not been amended since 1968. It reads in part:
(Article 1) “Palestine is the homeland of the Arab Palestinian people.
(Article 9) “Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine.
(Article 15)“The liberation of Palestine, from an Arab viewpoint, is a national duty and it attempts to repel the Zionist and imperialist aggression against the Arab homeland, and aims at the elimination of Zionism in Palestine.
From the Hamas Covenant 1988
The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement
“In The Name Of The Most Merciful Allah-
“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it” (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).

Jimmy Carter, President of the USA, asked author Joan Peters to write about the poor Palestinian Arabs, and seven years later, in 1984, she stood with the Jews.
“Peters demonstrated that Jews did not displace Arabs in Palestine – just the reverse: Arabs displaced Jews. For every Arab refugee who left Israel in 1948, there was a Jewish refugee who fled or was expelled from his Arab birthplace at the same time.” In 1939 Churchill challenged the common notion that Jewish immigration into Palestine had uprooted its Arab residents. To the contrary, according to him, “Far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population.”
From her book From Time Immemorial
“…the British – a ‘civilized’ people – were willing to see Jews in Europe put to death by the Nazis; for ‘fear’ of ‘Arab comment, the British claimed that ‘Palestine’ had ‘no more places’ for Jews, while at the same moment the British were importing ‘illegal’ Arab immigrants by tens of thousands into Palestine to do ‘necessary’ work – work and place they denied the Jews.
“And “Today, the explicitly stated Arab goals appear to be gaining credence once again through the medium of propaganda and twisted rhetoric, unquestioned by those of us who haven’t known the questions to ask, and unhindered by many who have guessed. Those who understand the reality ought to demand more.”
It is essential to Israel’s existence that she debunk the Occupation Lie: Declare Yom San Remo
As leaders of government, universities, and and journalists attack Israel for her civilized response to the vile massacre of Jews – for the crime of being Jewish – living in the land of Israel, we must debunk the false ‘occupation’ lie upon which this hate stands..
@vivarto
Ah yes, you are right. It also occurs to me that if you don’t like someone else’s god-given rights, all you have to do is create a new god, and then say that yours is the final authority, or else, “we keel you”.
@Raphael
Yom San-Rafael is celebration of Goyims recognizing our rights.
Our rights are indeed God-given, however the universal recognition of them and establishing them as international law, is a big event.
It is like celebrating the liberation from the Egyptian slavery.
Our right to freedom is God-given, and preceded the liberation, however we still celebrate the Pesach.
@Raphael Can’t have too many holidays in which to let our guard down and be sitting ducks, can we, now.
Yay! Yom San Remo! (25 Apr, 1920). Maybe there should also be a Yom Balfour (02 Nov, 1917), as well? While all these important days should be remembered, shouldn’t it strike us as presumptuous that the goyim should make proclaimations that Israel has a right to their own land? Now, barely a hundred years later, many of the goyim are saying that Israel does NOT have the right to its own land. What gives the goyish world the right to make any such judgements, as if they had any standing to do so? It is time for Israel to appeal to the One who made the covenant with Israel in the first place, to guarantee it. Where else can they go? Certainly not to the goyim.
Coupled to the argument of “occupation” is the issue of “indigeniety”. Who were the first actual inhabitants of the land? Israel, of course, has lots of irrefutable archeological evidence that they are by far the oldest (surviving) inhabitants of the land, but that doesn’t seem to matter to the rest of the antisemitic world. As discussed in another article posted today, the “useful idiots” don’t deal in facts, only narratives, and lies.
I love it!
Yom San Remo
Brave Diane.
I hope our leaders are listening.
Really who can do that?
Netanyahu?
Or some chief Rabbi? (I am not sure if there is one.)
But this is so true.
Because of our compromises the world came to believe that the land belongs to some “Palestinians”.
