Why Obama is so afraid of Gen. Sisi

By Ali Al Sharnoby, CFP

It seems the current U.S. administration cannot accept nor even tolerate the existence of a powerful independent ruler in the Middle East.
While Gen. Sisi defends Christians from the brutality of the Muslim Brotherood, Obama ignores Christians but caters to radical Islam.
[Sisi] overthrew the Muslim Brotherhood rule in Egypt’s, toppled the American project which supports the rise of political Islam forces in the Middle East to implement the U.S. plans concerning the new Middle East and the creative chaos that would ensue.

CAIRO, EGYPT—Egypt’s interim President Adly Mansour made it official—which should come as nothing unexpected—presidential elections before parliamentary elections, with the presidential election within three months.

As a result of this decision, Gen. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, charismatic Egyptian Defense Minister, moves one giant step closer to the presidency. Everyone knows that he’s the strongest candidate and the only one who has the support of nearly all political parties to lead Egypt in its war against terrorism led by the Muslim Brotherhood and their militias.

Over the last few days, numerous Egyptian, Arabic, and even American newspapers and websites, Including the National, Jerusalem Post, Washington Times, blogger Walid Shoebat and many others, published statements by highly placed political sources in Egypt, outlining the steps carried out by the U.S. administration and President Obama to prevent the candidacy of Gen. Sisi. This resistance to Gen. Sisi is also articulated by some Arab Gulf states such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

Senior Egyptian sources say that the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, made several contacts with senior Egyptian armed forces members, about the pressing need to convince Sisi not to run in the presidential elections. Hagel said that Washington is not ‘comfortable’ with Sisi’s presidential candidacy and that the military must forthwith disengage from the ongoing political struggle in Egypt.

Looks like to the Obama administration Republican enemies extend all the way to the Land of the Pharaohs.

Sources confirm that top Egyptian officials expressed their anger at the U.S. election intervention, stressing that this is an internal affair, and America or any other nation are not welcome to interfere.

The Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed Forces held a meeting few days ago, in which they discussed the arrangements for the presidential elections. They announced that armed forces will stand by the will of the Egyptians and their choices, and that every Egyptian citizen has the right to run for the presidency as long as they meet the constitutionally prescribed conditions.

Senior sources said that the U.S. Anti-Sisi Movement has already reached the Arab Gulf states, after a high-level U.S. delegation made two visits to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The delegation met with senior officials of the two countries and asked them to put pressure on the Egyptian military to prevent Sisi from running in the election.

Newspapers published several reports about the concerns of the U.S. administration with Al-Sisi in power in Egypt. Some reports even talked about an alleged plot led by Obama to assassinate Sisi to prevent him from gaining the presidency.

So what is the secret of Obama administration’s fear of Gen Sisi? It stems from a new expression I created called “Sisiphobia”!

It seems the current U.S. administration cannot accept nor even tolerate the existence of a powerful independent ruler in the Middle East. U.S. support for Mubarak and the Arab Gulf kings and even the Muslim Brotherhood’s Morsi was only because of the potential of their full cooperation and dependency on America.

We all know what happened to leaders who tried to oppose America and stand in front of its plans in the Middle East, such as Nasser in Egypt, Abdul-Karim Qassem in Syria and many others in the Middle East or in Latin America. All of this is grippingly narrated in details by Hugh Wilford in his new book The Great American Game and the Arabists.

In general, the U.S. sees Sisi as the same danger. He is a popular hero powered by the overwhelming majority and a lovable character, to boot. Gen. Sisi has the unified support of the armed forces, police and intelligence services.

He overthrew the Muslim Brotherhood rule in Egypt’s, toppled the American project which supports the rise of political Islam forces in the Middle East to implement the U.S. plans concerning the new Middle East and the creative chaos that would ensue. Sisi came along and ruined everything by becoming the strongest enemy of political Islam and terrorist groups, especially the Muslim Brotherhood—backed by Barack Obama, both politically and financially.

A man like Sisi poses a major threat to U.S. schemes in the region. Therefore, the United States cannot feel comfortable with the existence of such a person at the head of the largest and most powerful Arab country.

And that’s without even considering the fears about the exposure of the Obama administration’s secret relations with the Muslim Brotherhood, for which Gen. Sisi holds the smoking gun, some of it already leaked in the $8-billion Obama suppot for the Muslim Brotherhood, which caused great embarrassment for Obama and questioning by Congress.

My ‘Sisiphobia’ has a detectable pattern. While Gen. Sisi defends Christians from the brutality of the Muslim Brotherood, Obama ignores Christians but caters to radical Islam.

Obama wants an army “as well-trained and well-equipped as the US military”, Gen. Sisi would see that as something the treasonous Muslim Brotherhood would do.

While Obama hides his credentials, everything checks on Gen. Sisi’s educational and military records.

Even though it can’t be too long before Sisi’s telephone conversations are tapped by the National Security Agency, it looks like ‘Sisiphobia’ might be here to stay.

This is moving Israel to take sides against Syria.

I see the chaos around the world not coincidental or haphazard but directed, not necessarily the results we are seeing but the strategic inputs causing them.

    Top Egyptian General Assassinated
Egyptian police general assassinated in an attack claimed by the Al-Qaeda inspired group Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis.

The interior minister was already the target of a failed assassination attempt claimed by the group last September in which a bystander was killed.

Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis also claimed responsibility for a Monday attack on Egypt’s gas export pipeline through the Sinai Peninsula.

The attack on the pipeline was the third in less than a month and follows repeated attacks last year that severely disrupted Egypt’s gas exports.

The group had previously claimed a car bombing which killed five people outside Cairo police headquarters on Friday. The group has in the past also claimed rocket attacks on the Israeli resort city of Eilat.

Terrorism will insure that Egypt doesn’t recover any semblance of economic viability. That will make them super vulnerable and very dangerous for us down the road.

Update on Ukraine: the Prime Minister has resigned

Half of the Ukrainians are ethnic Russians seeking unity with Russia. The Ethnic Ukrainians are for inclusion in the EU. Who ever comes out on top in this conflict still loses because the one that loses won’t go quietly especially if it’s the Russians. There is no secret that America has been the prime mover between the split in the Ukraine as part of the policy of denying to the Russians their previous ethnic based Buffer countries that were part of the USSR. Putin wants them back party for internal Russian reasons and party to shovw it back at America and NATO.

Speaking of Benghazi: Now this is disturbing:
I say it was the SOB former Central Intelligence Agency director David Petraeus who was behind that fiasco and the Fucking republican slimes who are protecting him. The deal that Bush made with Iran to get American troops out of Iraq was thought up and implemented by Patraeus, Made him a hero allowed Iran to get their Nukes and made sure Israel is restrained.

Now he says to trust Obama to use the military option after it is 100% sure Israel doesn’t any longer have that option..

Even were it true which I don’t believe one has to ask what the price America will demand and get for imposing their military option. I say the price demanded would be for Israel to dismantle our Nuke arsenal. America never gives anything gratis, especially if it’s Israel.

  4. Further to yesterday’s post from Ann barnhardt , here is follow up from her blog:

    3. Update on Ukraine: the Prime Minister has resigned, and most importantly, the military is refusing to move against the protesters. That’s the important part. Once the military refuses orders, a given government is basically over barring massive outside intervention – which is still possible here from Putin. But that seems unlikely at this point.

This is exactly what needs to happen in the U.S. There needs to be a general strike demanding the total liquidation of the FEDGOV. The FEDGOV needs to be forced to give the military orders to fire on U.S. citizens. I know you don’t want to hear that, but it is the truth. Now here is the big problem as I see it: I think that the Flag Officer Corps and a majority of the Field Grade officers would go along with the regime, because those ranks have been almost totally purged of decent, God-fearing men who are loyal to the Constitution and the Rule of Law. Flag and Field Grade officers are now almost entirely craven hacks who care only about their pensions and slithering up the chain of command in order to maximize their pensions and stroke their shriveled, flaccid, quivering egos. Someday I might tell you what I REALLY think of them.

So, yes, I think the officers would give orders to fire. I also think that most of the enlisted men would NOT follow those orders. It would be one hell of a gamble, and there will be casualties, but sadly, it is clearly what needs to happen. Enough of this garbage. Enough of this lawless, despotic oligarchy. The longer this goes on, the worse it is going to be when the poop hits the fan. Each day magnifies the pain that WILL come later. The former United States needs to take a lesson from Ukraine, do the right thing, and force FEDGOV’s hand. Whenever something painful or unpleasant has to happen, it is always much better to lean into it and be in control of the situation, rather than cower, stall and flinch.

    4. Dinesh D’Souza. As I understand it, the guy makes a documentary critical of Obama and now has been arrested and made to post a bond on a $500,000 bail because he bundled $20,000 for some congressional candidate and didn’t fill out the appropriate paperwork and document it properly. Now, I don’t want to engage in relativism, but I MUST point out that Jon Corzine stole $1.6 billion dollars in customer funds and the only thing that happened to him was having to go to Washington whereupon he perjured himself without compunction before Congress while simultaneously being given a tongue-bath by said Congressional panel. In other words, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. That needs to be pointed out because it speaks to my main premise in all of my ranting and raving: The Rule of Law is DEAD. There is no equal protection under the law because the iniquitous gutter republic formerly called the United States of America is no longer a nation of LAWS, but a nation of MEN. All that matters is who you are and who you know. Period.

I believe, that even were the musloid in chief to come on national tv and admit to each and everyone of the impeachable offenses, but finish with his toothy grin (now that I think about it here is yet ANOTHER similarity with jimmah cahtuh….) and pull a hitlery as in “what difference does it make now?”…. Life would continue and move on, the second after, as if nothing happened…. The slimy post may even write an editorial how GREAT this scumbag product of affirmative action is, and perhaps he should get a second Nobel peace prize for ….oh they’ll figure something ‘creative”…..

  6. We are too slow to recognize that Obama is a radical Muslim with an agenda to take down America and Israel and to support the Muslim brotherhood. Every action taken by Obama wile in office points to this stark conclusion. It seems that too many people are desperate to find some other explanation for Obama’s extreme actions.
