Journalist, columnist and author Caroline Glick analyses the deal made between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization to free Palestinian prisoners “without blood on their hands” for the freeing of some of the hostages.
Is this a good deal for Israel or a trap to defeat the war effort against Hamas?
As Avivi stated yesterday, war is a time of great danger, but it is also a moment of great opportunities. Our enemies certainly see it as such and so do our ‘allies’ who are doing their best to obstruct Israel’s freedom of action and thus blocking many of these opportunities. Many things might be resolved during this war, and many of them must be resolved for this war to be worth the blood and treasure being spent to execute it.
Glick is bang on …as she is 99% of the time.
What’s done is done but her suggestions on how to make
the most of the “pause” by going after the real bad actors
Hizbollah and Iran and Yemen (and Turkey if necessary & Quatar) makes
sense …..take the offensive
One thing she didn’t mention is Judea/Samaria …use the
time to lock down the 75% of the arabs there who polled as
wishing they did what Hamas did – send abbas to Gaza since
he agrees so much with them – treat them as no deal gazans
time to get rid of that thorn and annex it since 95% of Israelis
now concur that a 2 state solution is a myth
The deal is a terrible betrayal. Assures that Hamas,Islamic Jihad etc. will remain firmly in control of Gaza.
