The only thing the generals can do now to mitigate the disgrace they have brought onto the nation is to join an emergency government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Who was it that swore up and down prior to the last election that he would never form a government that was dependent on the Joint Arab List?
Who was deeply offended when journalists questioned him about it, and even chided them to stop their lies?
Who explained after the election that “they [the Joint Arab List] would vote one time from outside to swear in a government and then it would be over?”
What is Blue and White leader Benny Gantz saying now, after Blue and White put the Joint Arab List in charge of the Knesset committee that, among other things, handles victims of terrorism?!
It would be interesting to know how many Blue and White voters know where some Joint Arab List MKs stand on the matter of terrorism.
MK Hiba Yazbek isn’t alone. There are others who stand with the MK who allegedly implied that Samir Kuntar – who murdered Danny Haran and smashed his four-year-old daughter’s skull open – a “martyr” and who wrote “May all the women of the resistance be blessed” next to a picture of Dalal Mughrabi, who slaughtered 34 Israelis in a terrorist attack on the coastal highway.
There is Ahmad Tibi and his speech about martyrs – the one who served as an adviser to Yasser Arafat and sees a shahid (martyr) as “the height of glory” and a “pioneer,” one who “with his blood, lays out the path to liberation and freedom,” and who thinks that “there is no greater value than martyrdom.”
There is Ayman Odeh, who defined Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah as “a model of loyalty and sacrifice.”
There are other MKs from the list who have met with terrorists or their families, as well as one who called former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked “neo-Nazi scum” and Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Lieberman the “offspring of Adolf.”
There are a few more “moderate” MKs on the list who can now busy themselves with handing the rehabilitation of wounded soldiers and victims of terrorism: Yousef Jabareen and Aida Touma-Sliman and, again, Odeh – who signed the infamous Arab “vision documents.”
Those documents – take note, Blue and White voters and MKs – demand that Israel get rid of its blue and white flag and its national anthem HaTikva that Israel no longer be defined as a Jewish state, and that the Law of Return and the Nation-State law be revoked.
Blue and White leaders Benny Gantz, Moshe Yaalon, and Gabi Ashkenazi – what do you have to say now? (It seems pointless to talk about Yair Lapid at this point.)
Tying yourselves to the Joint Arab List – which is terrible in itself – is not temporary, but is, as journalist Kalman Liebskind explained; “not a joining of two legitimate positions, but a joining of good and evil, between those who believe in our right to a Jewish state and those who fight against it” – or, ‘those who think that those who murder Jews are heroic martyrs and those who see them as bitter enemies.’
It’s shame we weren’t wrong when we “slandered” all of you on the “Left.” It’s a shame we weren’t wrong when we warned that you would form a political alliance with “haters of Israel.” Putting the chairmanship of a committee that among other things handles victims of terrorism in the hands of a party that includes members who sympathize with or support shahids is worse than allowing a party of thieves to handle victims of theft or a party of tax evaders to spearhead tax reforms. It’s even worse than allowing a party of sex offenders to handle the treatment of victims of sex offenses.
Palestinian terrorism isn’t just a regular crime; it is a crime whose goal is to wipe us out, physically and nationally.
Blue and White, the only way of mitigating the disgrace you have brought upon the flag that gave you your name – and everything it represents – is to join a unity government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu right now, at a time of true emergency.
This is where your true partners sit. They are not part of a list that rejects Israel as the national home of the Jewish people and tries to undermine its very foundations.
@ adamdalgliesh:
She does a podcast with Avi Abelow on Facebook Live, that is were I heard it.
@ Bear Klein:
I have not found any article or comment by Caroline Glick to this effect. Could you please give us your source for her report? Of course I hope it is true.
@ Bear Klein: I also read in Times of Israel that it is possible that two of Ya’alon’s colleages in Telem might also join if the Knesset rule forbidding them to do so (what an insane rule!) is repealed.
Good NEWS is that it has been reported by Caroline Glick that Sovereignty as laid out in Trump Plan for Jordan Valley and all Israeli Towns in Judea/Samaria will be implemented by new government.
The government will be between 75 -78 MKs and Gantz will actually be Defense Minister and Ashkenazi will be the Foreign Minister. Bibi PM for 18 months and Katz the interim FM will become the Finance Minister.
So NO Yaalon, Lapid, Liberman or Joint Arab List. Most of my friends on the right are initially very pleased as this best possible outcome given the circumstances.
@ adamdalgliesh:
Maybe 3 Labor members may join (not clear). Meretz will not join.
Orly Levy from Gesher may also join it is not clear at the moment.
“Ending a year of political paralysis, Gantz and Netanyahu poised to form unity government
Under emerging deal, Netanyahu to stay on for about 18 months, after which Gantz would become prime minister. Move fragments Blue and White alliance.” Israel Hayom’s headline about surprise deal. The Gantz faction of Blue and White will dominate the government, because it will have the defense , foreign affairs and justice portfolios . The three most powerful ministries. But at least the anti-Zionist Arab parties, and those creeps Lapid and Ya’alon will be excluded. Will the Labor-Meretz bloc be included? I haven’t got that straight.
@ Bear Klein:
Meretz will split from Labor and luckily will not be in the government. So the left-center party of Blue-White which was a hodgepodge of different ideological parties similar to Kadima is going the same to ruin.
Anyway let us see how this will all play out!
@ Bear Klein:
I maybe wrong about no left-wing as perhaps Labor might be part of the coalition but NO Lieberman.
Israel is finally getting a government. Bibi will be PM for a while still! There will be NO leftists parties in the government and no Arab Joint List.
