Right on Michael. At this point in the game my money is on the second coming of Trump.
Hi, Peloni.
hang like a sword of Damocles overhead.
That saying makes me think of the Israeli High Court. (My son once remarked that the Chinese method of coercion was like an anaconda hanging from the chandelier, while the dinner guests calmly ate their meals.)
Until seeing Carlson’s piece, I was always puzzled by the conundrum posed by the “American people”, when they first elected Nixon by a landslide, then viciously attacked him. It was not the American people at all, but instead the Deep State! My apologies to my countrymen, and to President Nixon.
The Deep State undid, Kennedy, Nixon and Trump
Having acted to murder, impeach and simply overthrow, respectively, these leaders who held the consent of the governed, the Deep State has never taken as single casualty for having supported any one of these acts of sedition. Indeed, not a single member of the Administrative Bureaucracy which oversaw and supported any one of these insurrections has seen the inside of a court room, much less a jail cell, much less the traitor’s noose. Consequently, even if Trump were to return to the White House, he would have the unenviable task of resolving the Gordian Knot relating to the awesome reach and control which this unelected body currently manifests.
Trump’s proposed solution to this quandary, which was announced in the closing days of his presidency, ie Schedule F, would still be forced to face judicial review. Given the court’s reluctance to even consider challenging the most recent of these Deep State insurrections, ie the 2020 election fraud, it remains a very real question as to how SCOTUS might actually rule upon the president’s proposal to allow him the ability to overthrow the standing supremacy of the Deep State’s authority. In fact, it might be fairly argued that the question of how SCOTUS might rule on this matter would be further complicated should the president in question be Donald Trump.
Hence, an obvious corollary to Tucker’s ground breaking report would be that the resolution to the insurrection of Nov 3, 2020 requires not only the return to power of the people’s chosen leader. Rather, it must also include the freedom for him to actually rule without the very real threat of further acts of insurrection by this established insurgency within the halls of power which will otherwise continue to hang like a sword of Damocles overhead. How this might be resolved with the apparent lack of independence from the Deep State by the judiciary remains a very significant hurdle, and one which will not easily be overcome, even should the people’s choice of president come to replace that which was selected and installed by the Deep State to rule over them.
This is a spot-on exposition of how the Deep State works. Let’s see if anyone here watches it.
