  1. Adam

    Your long comment of 7.05am

    Contains a second paragraph beginning

“Another “mystery” was the huge number of “foreign mercenaries”.

And focus on this is the key.

This was a planned event – planned pregnancy planned delivery

It is the world of the Neocons. It involves primarily all shades of power in America. All connected with the EU including Britain. All those too seeking to be a part of the EU.

I have to include Netanyahu on this. But there’s not as yet an alternative to that form of Zionism.

So then it becomes possible to have the coup on Syria against Assad and to understand it

But there’s one other component. I struggle to find a suitable name for the miserable people who masquerade as the left today.

But they are there because they divert especially into what is the ideology of Palestinians, the most pernicious ideology of all.

It is all ruled by and in deceit.

To begin to break out of that deceit question every word and sentence

    To arrive at objective truth.

Reader yes and that on Trotsky is objective truth because it is scientific. And Stalin the worst political person possible.

Adam your finger pointing back at yourself… why have you hidden from us the Maidan Coup? Etc Etc.

  2. @Michael S.

the Zelenskyy government working in collusion with Turkey and the rest of NATO

    I was being sarcastic.

Ukrainians can’t do c–p for themselves much less something major like blowing up a deep sea pipeline.

The only time they thrived (relatively speaking) was after the war until the USSR fell apart and they did the Maidan revolution (harakiri).

Ukrainians (and the Russians) are being bled white by the US and GB (mostly) in the mutual meat grinder.

  3. US indicts 2 Assad regime officials for torture, war crimes
Following fall of the Assad regime, US announces indictment of former Syrian Air Force intelligence officers Jamil Hassan and Abdul Salam Mahmoud for the torture of prisoners, including US citizens.

    “10 Dec, 2024 14:29
Opposition leader appointed PM in Syria
The new caretaker is a long-time ally of militant leader Mohammed al-Jolani”
    https://www.rt.com/news/609142-bashir-syria-prime-minister/
“Opposition politician Mohammed al-Bashir has announced that he will serve as Syria’s caretaker prime minister until March. Al-Bashir, who has led a Hayat Tahrir-al-Sham (HTS) shadow government since January, was appointed following talks between militant leader Mohammed al-Jolani and the remnants of former President Bashar Assad’s administration.
    ……………………………………………………………………………
Al-Jolani has promised to respect the rights of Syria’s religious minorities. However, some of his statements have sparked fears that he plans to wage a campaign of retribution once his comrades take office. “We will not hesitate to hold accountable the criminals, murderers, security and army officers involved in torturing the Syrian people,” the former Al-Qaeda commander said in a televised statement, offering rewards to anyone willing to turn in Assad’s former security officials.”

  4. Hi, Reader. You said,

I think that the Ukrainian clue here is of the same type as “six Ukrainians on a rented yacht blowing up the deep sea Nord Stream pipeline”.

In both cases, you have the Zelenskyy government working in collusion with Turkey and the rest of NATO, with “Sleepy” Joe setting the pace. Notice the references to Yellow and Blue throughout the video. I was waiting to see when the narrator would mistakenly call Damascus “Kiev”.

  5. I think that the Ukrainian clue here is of the same type as “six Ukrainians on a rented yacht blowing up the deep sea Nord Stream pipeline”.

  6. Peloni,

The video was an excellent account. I think I can summarize it: The Sunni attack followed these lines:

    1. Bribery, corruption, treason, the usual suspects (Welcome to the Middle East!)

    2. Turkish-Ukrainian planning, materiel, leadership (Read all these as “Joe Biden”)

    3. Very effective mercenary support from Albania, Chechnya, Uzbekistan, Tadzikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uighurs and probably others: essentially, all Sunni Muslims north of Turkey and Iran.

    4. Putin and the Ayatollah throwing Assad under the bus.

This appears to be THE MAIN inflection point of Erdogan and Turkey from an unimportant bystander to the main actor (“Gog” and “Land of Magog”) in Ezekiel 38-39.

    5. The Kurds and Israel have been scrambling, to minimize damage to their own (anti-Gog) interests in the region.

The FIRST MAGOG WAR has begun, which should be played out in the Valley of Megiddo. For the script of the battle, consult your closest available Bible.

  7. @fquigley

    Felix,

Trotsky was a man of principle which means that he was not a politician.

He knew several languages, he was a great theoretician, activist, organizer, patriot, and whatever project he was in charge of he did with great talent and excellent skill.

BUT – even if we could find a Trotsky these days, who is now in charge of everything?

    Remember what Trotsky called Stalin?

“An outstanding mediocrity” [who was a marvelous politician – my note]

So, who is in charge of everything these days, unfortunately –
    Trotskys or outstanding mediocrities?

  8. I read an article recently written by a “reformed terrorist” who stated that, basically, “if we act nice, we will be guaranteed a state” – so now they worked out another strategy, since force and viciousness don’t work.

  9. @Adam D

To me, in the very beginning, when I knew almost nothing about it, the greatest contradiction was that, somehow, Assad was being described as someone worse than ISIS terrorists (Bashar Assad never wanted to be in politics, he has a medical degree, and it was his father Hafez who was a cruel dictator), and the terrorists all of a sudden were promoted to Rebels who overthrew a vicious dictator, and the US was rumored to consider removing the organization of the Rebels off its list of terrorist organizations.

The first question I asked was:

Is an Islamic terrorist state in Syria better for Israel than Assad??

To me personally the answer would be “no” – unless this new government would show itself to be unusually moderate and friendly or at least neutral to Israel.

Since my worst fear is TSFS, I tend to think that the events were timed in order to create another push in that direction “due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, etc.” OR pretending that the ME is now changed, and peaceful, and safe for Israel to commit to the “Palestinian” state.

This is something that all the actors (except for Israel, I hope) would readily support.

This is why I think that there must begin a massive campaign of truth telling based on Joseph Shellim’s pattern and Israel must declare sovereignty over Israel’s largest Biblical borders BEFORE all those conferences start in June.

ISRAEL HAS NO LAND TO GIVE AWAY!

Any land giveaway for Israel is not only going to be suicidal but also homicidal because it will also destroy the Diasporah Jewry.

In addition, Israel has to have enough land to settle the 7.5 million Diaspora Jews, and if it gives away Judea and Samaria, it never will.

  10. Reader

This is the whole story from the media, that Jolani has seen the light, shaved off his beard, quite the new man, and his past in the leadership of Isis and his throat slitting can be forgotten

I placed great responsibility on Russia and Iran, as well as the Syrian leadership of course, especially Putin who should have guessed anything was possible re training of jihadists and mercenaries by NATO.

The measures to defeat the exreme nazi fascists of islam Isis should have been in place.

Also on Netanyahu who spurned a good offer from the Syrians which could have turned the tide.

It was the responsibility of Trotskyist leadership to have fought Antisemitism as well as organising defence of Syria against Isis Jihad.

And it’s the responsibility of mankind in general because Isis never should have been allowed take power in Syria.

Without true Trotsky leadership we enter the pits of hell.

  11. @Adam

This seems to be a brilliant and very well informed account of the collapse of the Assad regime.

I agree. He previously produced a video specifically detailing the first month of Israel’s assault on Hezbollah with the same level of detail and videos, where he chroncled each life lost upto that point in Israel’s offensive into Lebanon. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. Here is the link:

  12. There are many mysterious aspects to the fall of Assad for which no one has given a satisfactory explanation. Immediately after the fall of Assad, the United States carried out massive bombing raids directed at ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria). But supposedly ISIS had been defeated and reduced to insignificance years ago! How is it then that the U.S. found dozens of ISIS bases to bomb? At the same time, Israel bombed an equal or even greater number of targets in Syria. The Israeli-bombed targets were said to consist mainly of chemical weapons production and/or storage facilities, and other arms depots left behind by the Assad regime. Was it really just a coincidence that these American-Israeli bombing raids occurred immediately after the Assad regime fell? And why the f_—k did the U.S. and Israel wait until after Assad was overthrown to bomb these targets? Why didn’t they bomb them when Assad was in power?

Another “mystery” was the huge number of “foreign mercenaries” from virtually every country in central Asia fighting with HTS. These foreign, non-Syrian mercenary soldiers seem to have outnumbered the “native” Syrian Sunni Muslims fighting with HTS. The HTS fighters were superbly armed and equipped, mainly with Turkish uniforms and full combat gear. Many of the commanding officers were actually Turkish army officers. Others were members of the ethnic Turkmen minority whose communities are located just south of the Turkish border. But who paid for all of these state-of-the-art arms and equipment? Some of the podcasters claim they were better armed and equipped, with more modern weapons and protective gear than the U.S. army. But Turkey is broke, in desperate economic trouble . It is in no way in a position to pay for such a large and well equipped invasion force. So who did pay for it? The United States? Germany, with its large ethnic-Turkish population?

I don’t have the answer to any of these questions. A penny for the thoughts of other readers of Israpundit. Does anyone have possible answers?

  13. Reader

Assad even ordered his government to proceed with the peaceful transfer of power.”

Yes…a very decent and wise man.

His Syria poor had suffered enough and Syria was broken

  14. Reader I am not sure the guy you referring to

Syria especially the poor were just tired.

This country was once a paradise

    It is broken

Assad was and is a cultured man. Had he stayed hed have been murdered

He was smashed. Who needs that shit?

  15. This seems to be a brilliant and very well informed account of the collapse of the Assad regime. Thoroughly documented with numerous film clips . detailed maps drawn over satellite surveillance videos and drone surveillance videos. The author seems to know a great deal about the composition of the rebel forces, including its inclusion of volunteers from throughout Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent, the operations of the Syrian army and the Kurdish militias, and the complete collapse of Syrian army resistance to the Jihadist forces. I wonder where he gets his information. The Turkish government? The US government?
Qatar? He is far better informed, and therefore far better connected, than most other reporters of current events in the Middle East.

  16. @fquigley

    Felix,

This guy (in the interview) looks OK to me (so far).

He said he wants to rebuild the country and to protect minorities.

I suspect that Assad, the “rebels”, and Russia had a prior agreement, and this is why things went so quickly and smoothly – Assad even ordered his government to proceed with the peaceful transfer of power.

Who knows, maybe even the US and Israel were kept informed.

The US is offering Syria help in rebuilding the country, and the US forces have been in Syria (without being asked) for years.

I think Israel will not benefit from this.

Let us watch and see how it develops.

  17. At least Putin and the Syria army and Assad fought the Jihad. There’s noone else who did so. They’re all culpable for this great MOMENTOUS AND HISTORICAL betrayal!

  18. The CNN creep is safe as can be, as she nods dutifully, but Christians and Yezidis only see danger and the huge betrayal to them . The depth of the betrayal is unfathomable and we have to draw the sharpest lessons about Zionism and it’s leadership.
