Here is the vital tell in this proposition. Milley won’t be in those tanks. The National Guard is a citizen army. It will be citizens in the tanks, and it will be their decision as to whether they will follow unlawful orders or they will resist attacking or butchering their fellow citizens.
Something that might seem unrelated, but is quite related occurred during the outbreak of war in the Dombas in 2014. Yes, I know, racist Ukraine, where they currently have actual Nazi units forming much of their own National Guard, but it wasn’t always this way. The manner that this came about is an important tale, one which I have really not read in the press, not recently, in any event.
The Maidan coup took place, and the initial laws were passed, many Russo-Ukrainians were beaten in the streets, and protests broke out around the country. There were pro-Maidan(pro-coup) and anti-Maidan(anti-coup) demonstrations. The Dombas areas declared sovereignty, declaring that they would not be taking instructions from the central govt. So the newly installed govt sent the army in to put down the rebellion and re-establish order, or really just the control of the central govt. They sent one of the most accomplished element of their armed forces, the 25th Detached Dnepropetrovsk Airborne Brigade, which had US training and participated in US exercises as well as actually participating in combat during the Iraq war. They had about 60 men and half a dozen armored vehicles, nothing cutting edge, but the best Ukraine had at the time as I understand. In anycase, this highly accomplished unit got lost on their way to subdue the Dombas, and encountered a number of citizens blocking the road.
They began talking with the gathered citizens when the local militia arrived and joined the conversation. The end result was that the soldiers who were locals joined the Dombas militia, and the 25th Brigade turned over their armored vehicles. The rest of the soldiers returned to Ukraine, but promised to return and also join the militia. They did not do so, of course, and it likely was no surprise to anyone that this was the case. The govt could not have been too pleased with the outcome of adding well trained recruits complete with arms and armored vehicles to the Dombassers declaring sovereignty.
Three weeks after this debacle, on May 2, the Odessa Massacre took place, and the Azov Battalion began to form about this same time and shortly afterwards marched on Dombas with Tornado, Aidar and other volunteer Battalions to do what the army failed to accomplish. These volunteer units were little more than brute squads and when the public turned out to block the streets again, well, it was like the story of the pitcher and the stone which did not go so well for the pitcher. In the battles to come, the armored vehicles would prove to be quite a valuable resource.
The point I am trying to make by explaining this story is that an army is made up of people, and, like a jury, they have orders to follow, but they are the ultimate judge of the legality, legitimacy and prudence of those orders. This test of judgement becomes particularly evident when they are set against their fellow citizens. The officers of the 25th Brigade could have mowed down the Ukrainian public as the volunteer units later did do, but they were trained to protect the nation, not to abuse their fellow citizens, and certainly not to kill them as they stood unarmed and unthreatening.
Given the recent moves to remake the US Armed Forces, perhaps the brute squads are already in place in the NG and the other Armed Forces, but I do not personally believe this is actually true. The degree to which I am correct in this belief, or the degree to which it remains true over time, will determine whether the NG and Army will perform more like the 25th Brigade or the Azov and Tornado Battalions.
The last anti-Trump HOAX!
Kash Patel’s comment suggests that the W DC corruptocracy could use the army or other means to steal the next elections!
Pelosi has Milley in her pocket of sleeve!

Kash Patel just revealed that Pelosi, Schumer & Co were calling them (the DoD) during the “insurrection” and asking for M1 Abrams tanks, APC’s (armored personnel carriers) and humvees plated up with machine guns to come to the Capitol. Literally stuff you see rolling down the street in Afghanistan.
“It was an optics play.”
It was all a big show to make it look like a war zone. Wow.
