San Remo Conference: Eugene Kontrovich & Caroline Glick

Professor of International Law, Eugene Kontrovich, George Mason University, Antonin Scalia Law School:  A brief (15 minute) interview where Kontrovich provides unique insights into a) the EU’s vehement and unremitting ideological opposition to Israel superimposed upon its intrinsic antisemitic double-standard and b) an underappreciated aspect of Israel’s legitimate claim to Yehuda and Shomron, referred to by mainstream media as “The West Bank.”

Political Science journalist, Caroline Glick on the history of the political struggles that ensued following International recognition of the Palestine Mandate as the National Homeland of the Jewish People at the San Remo Conference, held in 1920.  Just under 30 minutes. She touches on the methods used by the Palestinians to insinuate their contrived narrative in the public’s consciousness by adopting the Post-Modernist (Critical Theory) notion of “multiple truths” and preferred “narratives” rather than historical realities. They also appeal to compromised media and biased international bodies such as the United Nations to spread their pernicious narrative. Unfortunately, the sound quality in Glick’s interview is relatively poor but it is well worth the effort to appreciate the import of Glick’s interview.

This event was engineered by the organization Im Tirzu in Israel in conjunction with Canadians for Israel’s Legal Rights Under International Law (CILR.)  A very worthwhile interview with CILR Co-Chairs, Ms. Goldi Steiner and Mr. Irving Weisdorf was conducted after those interviews but I haven’t seen that URL posted yet on Im TIRZU’s Facebook page.  Kudos to Andria Spindel at CAEF for publicizing the event locally.
