1. Well this didn’t take long.

   Two French Self-Propelled 155 mm CAESAR Artillery Units Have Been Captured By Russian Forces

   A French journalist announced the capture of the Caesar self-propelled guns transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

   The French self-propelled 155 mm CAESAR artillery units, handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine only a few weeks ago, have already been captured by the Russian military. With such information, the French journalist, lawyer and politician Régis de Castelnau noted that due to the oversight of the Ukrainian military, the Armed Forces of Ukraine not only lost two Caesar self-propelled artillery mounts, but the latter were captured by the Russian military, who had already sent NATO weapons for study.

   WNU Editor: Russian media is saying that these captured French self-propelled 155 mm CAESAR artillery units were actually sold to them by Ukrainian soldiers. A Russian arms manufacturer that is studying these captured artillery pieces is not impressed with its capabilities. They are also mocking the French President …. Russian arms maker mocks France’s Macron (RT).

   I am the first to admit that this could be a Russian disinformation effort. But the thing is that this story is plausible when it comes to a place like Ukraine.

   The deaths and injuries have been in vain because it is an absolute shit show out here. We had a 2 hour fire fight that later turned out to be against Ukrainian special forces.. it is unbelievable what goes on here. If it was not for [REDACTED], I would be nowhere near this ridiculous mess.

   I have seen and been all around the country and there is no way the Ukrainians will win this the way they are fighting and utilizing their assets/forces. It is an absolute waste.

   The media tells only one side. I am here. I see the reality. bridges blown up while friendly forces are still on the other side, no communication between units, friendly fire all he time (just lost a British Sas sniper who was on his way to a position and got evaporated by a Ukrainian BTR because no one said he was going)

   They tell us we have support and then fire off 3 morters and call it a day. They give a guy who has never used an automatic grenade launcher and then tell us he will be our indirect support at night time from 1.2km away. I dint make this shit up. It is a fucking shit show.

   The Ukrainians are brave -Ill say that. As for the rest – I can only shake my head as good men die for no good reason at all.

3. Of course, pushing Lavrov hard was a (not so subtle) attempt to get him to make a mistake. That’s what the western media has come to regard as good journalism. It is preposterous and quite disrespectful that a reporter would challenge an answer, or even argue with their interviewee. True reporting is finding out the facts and then reporting them, in an honest, unbiased way, not trying to make a name for yourself by badgering someone into misspeaking. Of course, I guess that all depends on whether or not they like the person that they are interviewing. Someone once said of the mainstream media, “When interviewing a Republican, all reporters want to be Bob Woodward, but when it’s a Democrat, all reporters are like Monica Lewinski.”

4. Very tough interview in which Lavrov gave a bit better than he got I believe. The purpose of this overly harsh exchange was to push Lavrov hard and hope he over reacted or was caught off guard. Instead, I think he was very effective in drawing attention to the myopic perspective of the West in ignoring the state of civil war in Ukraine that the West caused, funded, armed and ignored. Of course, now the West wishes to ignore all of this, even as it has culminated in the Russian invasion as a consequence to the West’s intransigence to resolve the brutal hardships placed upon the citizens of the Dumbas.
