Europe already depends on israel for quite a lot, to the degree-as I posted not long ago- that they import good and services from Israel to the tune of just under $38 bill, and export to Israel about $15-16 Bill, making a huge balance of payments suplus for Israel. My figures may be a bit off but the difference os about or close to 2-1 in Israel’s favour.
And there are about 7-8 European countries which enjoy very friendly and supportive relations with Israel.

@Edgar Or maybe they are so eager to be seen as a light unto the nations and so afraid of being seen as a monopolizer of essential resources even if they invented them that they would rather give away the store. Is there a psychological term for excessive desire to be liked and fear of being disliked?

Well, it’s certainly not our imagination, but, on the other hand, “just because you’re paranoid, doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.”
Selling instead of leasing shows a lack of cofidence that Israel will be around long enough for leasing to be more profitable. Or maybe they assume the item will quickly become obsolete. But if it’s a process they’re selling that guyer can improme and modernise without recourse to Israel.
I got curious. .Checked. israel is 49th in rank of possessors of gas, Russia is #ONE. Israel has enough gas to supply itself for 18.7 years.. I suppose it’s all in the estimated untapped unproven resources.
@Edgar Israelis tend to sell rather than lease the rights to inventions like the pentium chip, the flash drive, and the tommacio tomato.
If Israel has as much gas as Russia, and other substitutes when the gas peters out, then that’s fine. But I am concerned as to how much recoverable gas Israel actually has. I saw an estimate last year saying a 50 years supply. Well, if that’s near the mark, it will supply all Europe for about not very long and then what??. Israel has a lot of shale oil, but They’d need to tear up about a third of the country, They’d all have to live in skyscrapers.
One good thing would be that mashuggena Freund would have to stop bringing in Oriental goyim.
Israel should aspire to be in the enviable position Russia is vis a vis Europe and gas.
