Israel will reportedly inform the United States and other Ceasefire Observers today, that it will not complete its withdrawal of Military Forces from Southern Lebanon in the 60-Day Period agreed upon in the Ceasefire Deal with Hezbollah, citing the Lebanese Army’s unwillingness to timely deploy into the South. The Lebanese Armed Force had initially agreed to deploy 10,000 Troops into Southern Lebanon, to oversee the demilitarization of Hezbollah Sites and Equipment, in accordance with the Ceasefire; with reports indicating that not even 25% of those Forces have so far been deployed South of the Litani River.
