Rape, the Whirlwind

By Tabitha Korol

Sweden is the seventh richest country in the world in terms of GDP per capita  and its high standard of living.  It is famous for supporting the Norwegian resistance during World War II; for helping to rescue Danish Jews from deportation to concentration camps; and for its native son, Raoul Wallenberg, who rescued up to 100,000 Hungarian Jews during the Holocaust.

We recognize Sweden as the country that gave us  the incomparable Ingrid Bergman andGreta Garbo, writers Ingmar Bergman and August Strindberg,  IKEA furniture, high-quality steel production, the Volvo, the pop group ABBA, and Pippi Longstocking.

But Sweden’s latest source of prominence, its third largest city, Malmo, founded c. 1275, is now known as the City to Leave.  Its Jewish population is fleeing, as Malmo has become home to Muslim immigrants, antisemitism and violence, which has earned for Sweden the dubious distinction of Rape Capital of the World.  How is it possible for the Muslims to comprise a mere 6% of Sweden’s population, yet be responsible for 77% of the rapes committed?  According to the Counter Jihad report, one in four Swedish women will be raped, some killed, as sexual assaults increase by 500%.

Now, since President Obama invited 80,000 Muslims into the United States, with a promise of 100,000 per year over the next five years, and studies show that Islamic immigration brings a rise in rates of rape and molestation, there can be no doubt that we will see a corresponding increase in rape crime in America accordingly.

Is rape a fundamental part of Muslim culture?  Egyptian-born Nonie Darwish, in her book, And Now They Call Me Infidelexplains the Muslim mentality that is formed by their family dynamics and  interaction and by constant dissatisfaction.

Youths may not date, fall in love, or even communicate with the opposite sex.  Women are severely oppressed from childhood, and not allowed to form friendships. A woman is the source of a man’s pride or shame. She is made to suffer ritual female genital mutilation; her physical appearance must be concealed; she is prohibited from living as freely as men; and she must obey strict Shari’a law – to either suffer in a polygamous marriage that encourages jealousy and diminishes her importance, or to become an Islamic slave in a brief marriage – as brief as a few hours. Divorce is the male’s option, as easy as saying “I divorce you.” Since there is no common property between husband and wife, and his property does not automatically go to the wife after his death, the “one-night stand” is legal under Shari’a law.

There are also a number of taboos and laws that not only undermine a woman’s security andself-respect, but also dominate her relationship to her children and others.  The result is an environment that sets women up against each other, poisoned with distrust, grief, isolation, and financial insecurity.

What better way of defining the exploitation of sexual favors, forced labor or services, slavery or similar practices of servitude of one person (an underage female) by her parent to another adult (called a husband), than by human trafficking – particularly when deception and coercion are used by the parent who transfers parental custody to the stranger, and there is an exchange of payment in return.

Men are also impacted by Shari’a law.  Because his honor is determined by the female’s behavior, he becomes despotic, and may even kill his wife and children to endorse  his dignity.  The men are first raised by their unhappy, demoralized mothers  in a sexually oppressive society, where he is also economically unable to keep up with the older men who can buy any number of liaisons and support as many as four wives. The first-born son is also needed as protection of his mother against her husband’s unjust treatment.  All this leads to interlocking loyalties, fears, and unusual bonding, if any.

Polygamy deprives everyone of the intimacy and security found in a monogamous or faithful marriage. Although the man governs his women, in all other circumstances, he endures indignity, humility, and degradation from all who live within a brutal regime.   With abuse in every part of his life, including the workplace, he is disaffected, angry, ripe for fundamentalism – even eager to give up his life for the promise of heaven and the elusive sexual satisfaction.

The populace is taught to stay in the tribe, to never befriend the outsiders, and to fervently focus on hating Israel and the West, even if they know nothing about those countries or people.  The hate becomes their identity, blaming the West for their culture’s failure.  If their military leadership fails, if life is difficult, the economy bad, they feel less victimized if they can place the blame elsewhere. It’s a simple fact that no one takes responsibility for anything in Islam and everyone blames everyone else.

A polygamous society lacks cohesion and fellowship and is based on distrust, with hatred being at the surface, boiling and ready to explode against the most vulnerable. This is nihilism* – the man’s harming the woman, stealing her humanity and security.  It is what the jihadist hopes to do to the civilization that he has invaded.

And this all leads to an article that came to my attention – students in a biology class at theUniversity of Iowa are being taught that rape is “human nature.”  Regarding criminal sexual assaults as human nature is obviously offensive and dismissive, a way of allowing or even encouraging the behavior to continue.  While certain university professors suggested rape “has an evolutionary origin … genetically developed strategy sustained over generations of human life…a successful reproductive strategy,” it is entirely unacceptable in a civilized society, an act for which the perpetrator must be severely punished.

The sanctioning of rape is being insinuated into our culture through our youth as yet another tentacle of Islamization.  We will not accept cruelty and criminal behavior as human nature. We have evolved considerably since a code of high morality, ethics, compassion and justice was put into place by the Hebrews during the Bronze/Iron age.  We will not sink to the depths of degradation offered by a culture that, centuries later, brought the antithesis of our society to the world.

What the students should be learning is that not all cultures are civilized, that it is important to realize and nurture our own exceptionalism compared to those that are bent on humanity’s destruction, and that an ideal civilization controls, contains, and rejects the elements of human nature that harm and devalue others – women, for example.  This is one of many of the proverbial slippery slopes, where the liberal thinker accommodates the Islamist, and rejects morality,  the American Constitution, and the future designed for us by our Founding Fathers.

That could well be, Honeybee. My wife and I have had our brief experiences with Arabs around Israel. But that doesn’t hardly make me a psychologist. I understand homosexuality is common among them but is rarely if ever acknowledged. It seems to me that their culture degrades women. In any case, I cannot understand what there is about them that attracts women raised according to the standards of Western civilization.

  2. A side note about traditional Arabs and their women.

    1) In late September 1973, a few days before the Yom Kippur war, my wife and I, in company with one of my aunts visiting us from the USA, drove down from Jerusalem to a small village north of Hevron, in response to a dinner invitation from an Arab graduate student in architectural studies whose acquaintance I had made at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His father was the significant man in that little village, and he had two wives, as I recall. After the dinner, we I greatly enjoyed, we were saying our thank-yous and good-byes to our hosts. Notably, the elder gentleman would allow only me to shake his hand, and not my wife or my aunt. It was only later that I learned that for him to touch any of the women in my family, in accordance with their culture, could have rendered him my permanent enemy, for him having made a pass at one of my women. Which told me plainly that in their culture, the women are in fact regarded as chattel property. I cannot know how the younger and contemporary generation of Arabs feel about these issues. But my wife, a trained anthropologist and archaeologist, tells me that culturally-derived social traits are not easily modifiable.

2a) Early in our stay in Israel, my wife Stefi told me one day that while riding on one of the Egged buses that served the East Jerusalem campus of the Hebrew University, then under construction, a number of Arab on the crowded bus had made an effort to crowd around her, maneuver their bodies next to her’s and rub against her. We made up our minds after that that we would never ride one of those buses alone through East Jerusalem. Psychology is not one of my long suits, but I got the idea from what had happened that Arabs of various ages must be sexually deprived, and feel free to act out sexual fantasies among strangers that they would never dare try in company of their own people.

2b) One day Stefi was working alone at a minor “dig” under auspices of the Hebrew University Archaeology Department just outside the southern wall of the old city. She told me that up on top of the wall, an Arab male had climbed up, and looking down at her, he pulled aside his robe and exposed his sexual organs within her line of sight. That incident was a long time ago, but I seem to recall that she finished her work as rapidly as possible, gathered up her tools, and got out of there in a hurry.

Stefi, like Lara Logan, is tall, blond and very European in appearance.

All of the above is as factual as my long memory can sustain.

This just proves what a sick demented society the Islam world is. I think in most other cultures women are definitely not crying the blues for not being raped.I don’t need a scientific study to convince me of that. I did not take time to read your report to assess for myself what percentage of Muslim women feel this way.

  4. I don’t cheer on this violence (the rapists should be castrated, IMHO), but on the other hand, I can’t say that I will shed a lot of tears for whatever befalls the Europeans, as my sympathy meter broke about six million Jews ago.

Finally, some good news for women: Israeli sociologist Tal Nitzan, conducting groundbreaking research, has discovered that, contrary to popular belief, getting raped and not getting raped feel exactly the same. The prize-winning research compared the experiences of women who were gang-raped by Serbian soldiers to the experiences of Palestinian women who weren’t raped at all by Israeli soldiers, reaching the surprising conclusion that the experience of both groups of women is exactly the same, “This is why we have scientific research – to challenge our traditional beliefs and discover the truth, using the best political methods available,” said Nizan, a graduate student in the Hebrew University.

Nizan says that the most difficult thing in the research was hearing firsthand about the horrifying experiences of the poor Arab woman who did not get raped, “The pain, the suffering and the sheer degradation of this experience is hard to believe,” said Nizan,”For most Arab women, the scars of not being raped will never heal – this is just one more appalling by-product of the occupation.” Read More

In Israel, many were shocked and dismayed at the result of the research. IDF Chief, Gabi Ashkenazi, issued an apology to all Arab women for not getting raped and promised to conduct a thorough investigation as to the reasons, “Obviously, we are doing the best we can to encourage our soldiers to rape Arab women in order to avoid offending them,” Ashkenazi said, “After all, as Nizan has pointed out, the reality of occupation is difficult enough without having to go through the life-scarring experience of not getting raped as well. “MK Galon from Meretz praised Nitzan and thanked her for uncovering this dehumanizing behavior, “This just proves what we’ve been saying all along – the occupation is corrupting Israeli society.”

Galon went on to suggest that Israel establish Non-Rape Crisis Centers in the occupied territories in order to treat the hundreds of thousand of women who have not been raped by Israeli soldiers, “It’s the least we can do,” said Galon. However, others seem prepared to go one step further, “These soldiers should be investigated,” said Ahmad Tibbi, “And if they are found guilty of not raping our women – they should be tried and sentenced for their crimes against humanity.

“We demand equality,” Tibi said, “Our woman are just as rape-worthy as any other woman and besides, when we have the opportunity to rape Jewish women we do it, so why can’t Israeli soldiers show some humanity, some compassion, and rape our women when they get the chance? What is wrong with you guys?” asked Ahmad Tibi.

Good question: what is wrong with us Jews?

I have no idea how your comment relates to my original post which dealt with Scandinavian men and Scandinavian women whereas your comment appeared to relate to perpetrators of rape(e.g. muslim men). Are you simply making a general comment about rape and men and women or are you relating it to my comment in some way?

  12. @ yamit82:

I am not a fan of Lara Logan. And perhaps she was naive and stupid about that culture, or overly ambitious. Nonetheless, I still reject the notion that she “got what she deserved”. As a woman I find it deeply offensive that anyone would claim a woman “deserves” to be raped. Do you guys have wives, sisters or daughters?

I agree with Arnold. She put herself in the situation. She is an experienced journalist who should have known her situation and the mentality of those amidst the mob where she was working. Prudence should have taken priority over fame and fortune. Her ambitions and drive for notoriety were more compelling than the danger she should have known existed. If she did not weigh her personal safety against the danger because of ignorance of the Mob mentality, trust in her feeble security or basic understanding of the culture in which she was operating then she is just stupid and naive.

Any of the above makes her responsible for what happened to her. It’s like Entering a large lions cage with no expectation of being mauled and being surprised when she is. Funny all of the Arab Muslim attractions is where women track after Arab Muslim men, I haven’t read where western men seem to be attracted to Arab Muslim women. If substantiated it shows women are at least fickle if not outright stupid.

The fact of the matter is in all societies men are generally much more aggressive with sexual rape.

you appear to have gone off on a tangent from what I posted. I was not discussing the muslim rapist but the statement regarding “innocent girls” and “emasculated men”, the Scandinavians. Please re read my post.

  18. @ bernard ross:

I think that both genders are responsible

The fact of the matter is in all societies men are generally much more aggressive with sexual rape. Take your own American – Mr Walsh from Americas Most Wanted who’s son was kidnapped, raped and beheaded by another male. Your argument was brought up many times on the Larry King show to Mr Walsh. Mr Walsh reiterated that it was definitely more a man’s problem if you insist on comparing genders.

Let’s not go back to the Adam and Eve days. “Lord,Lord…it was that woman that you gave me! It was her fault that I ate the forbidden fruit.”

Man, take account for your own actions please. Having more women on board who also partake in unspeakable acts is no excuse.

  19. Laura Said:

I do not wish for the suffering of innocent little European girls because of the actions of the feeble, emasculated “men” of Europe who have allowed muslims to roll over them.

I think I have seen lots of scandinavian innocent girls spreading BDS libels about the Jews such as killing pal babies, apartheid etc. One question might be “who emasculated these men”? I have found that in dysfunctional societies, such as those whereby the father is never found, the mother brings up the sons who themselves become the father who is never around. I think that both genders are responsible in Scandinavia and often the women “operate” the emasculated” men. I’ll bet it was the women who fostered all the empathy for the Jew killers as the men are usually content to dislike everyone until the woman brings in the “softer” viewpoint and allows the fox into the henhouse. I would wager that more Scandinavian women are with foreign Muslim men than Scandinavian men with foreign Muslim women.
In any case Scandinavia in general has been an active fraudulent blood libeler of Israel and the Jews in the last few years. Therefore, if we are to believe the Covenant then we should not be surprised at this result which appears to be uncannily appropriate.

  20. @ Laura:

Well put! At least some of us can still differentiate. The shabbi at The Shul I am a member of is very much like Arnold and has sadly been given free reign. My membership expires at the end of this month and I will be taking my hard earned money elsewhere.

Indeed he is. I’ve been saying as much, although I referred to him as sociopathic.

Although I have contempt for Scandinavia and Europe in general, I do not wish for the suffering of innocent little European girls because of the actions of the feeble, emasculated “men” of Europe who have allowed muslims to roll over them.

It is probably one of the few sane commentaries that you have made. I remember when Lara Logan – CBS journalist was savagely raped in Egypt you said ‘She got what she deserved’. Your a sick puppy.

  25. Being singularly unsympathetic, I think mass rape is an appropriate punishment for the non-Muslim population of any European or Western Hemisphere country that votes into power a government that would allow more than a relative handful of carefully-screened Muslims to settle among them.

In keeping with the message posted on the gates of one of the German concentration camps of the Hitlerite era: Jedem das Seine — “Everybody gets what he deserves”.

I also observe that a major shortcoming of democracy is that everybody winds up getting screwed, irrespective of sex.
