Peloni: The US needs to divest itself from Qatar entirely. They should cease all forms of Qatari investments and dealings with the US. They should also relocate the US base in Qatar. And then they should impose massive sanctions on them. They are a terror hub within the Middle East and this fact should be well recognized and acted upon. Unfortunately, Qatari influence peddling in the US is well established, well funded, and well accepted… which is why none of this has yet come to pass. The question is if this established corruption of American institutions and political elites will continue under Trump. Sadly, the advocacy by Witkof for his allies in Qatar would seem to indicate that it will.

How is Qatar creating the next generation of American educated activists ready to sew chaos on elite college campuses?
An @open_the_books investigation has revealed how Qatar’s influence network in American public schools has unwitting teachers advancing teachers advancing its propaganda:
The Qatari state influence peddling QFI foundation has been funding K-12 public school education in order to turn it into a back door propaganda mechanism.
The foundation is funding teacher salaries, curriculums, and programming in school districts large and small across the country, allowing the small country to pursue a scheme of indoctrinating America’s youth.
They are creating “the next generation of activists ready to sew chaos on college campuses.”
“One (Howard) Zinn lesson QFI uses is called “Whose ‘Terrorism,’” which attempts to alter the definition of terrorism in order to inject a level of relativism into the discussion — asserting that terrorism is in the eye of the beholder and the one committing the atrocity could see it as a righteous act.”

We know the Mafia advice: Follow the money. My late Mother would have looked at this list and muttered, “Der liegt der Hund begraben!” There s the dog in the ditch!
I must take the liberty of changing the topic, if only slightly…
I’m reading about that chap Witkoff (?) “only enacting what Biden presented about handling Gaza last May” (or words to that effect).
I’m afraid I don’t understand (1) why Trump should be bound by this rubbish and (2) why Israel has (apparently) moved from independence of action to asking the US for permission to do what we all understand must be done… I needn’t publish the details…
@Adam
They should close it and move it to Bahrain. It is less advantageous, but reflect the reality that the US does not control Qatar with its presence there, but rather the influence swims upstream, as it were…which is why the US will not do so.
Good point Adam D. It’s really obvious what they should do, questioning at the same time why the US military is there in the first place…
If you look, however, at that list of “gifts” (and the nature of the “givers” of course) it’s obvious that there are many ways of attacking the US other than using military means. It would seem from that list that those providing the “gifts” are well aware of the US (and in general the West’s) appetite for easy money; in other words, greed.
So with one eye on the list, is it any surprise that the “best” universities fully supported the Oct 7 pogrom and its many supporters in said universities?
Very important information. Qatar is using its vast resources to indoctrinate American school children as well as college students in hatred of Israel and Jews. Outrageous that the U.S. and even Israel rely heavily on Qatar as a “negotiating partner” and “mediator.”
This is a sincere, non-rheorical question does anyone haveany idea whatthe U.S. should do about its massivemilitary base in Qatar? It would be hard to impose sanctions on Qatar while we still have a military base there.
