Moscow sought to make sure that Israel would not interfere with the transfer of defense measures from Syria to Ukraine.
Israel National News Dec 5,2022
Senior Israeli and Russian officials have been holding talks in recent days, Kan 11 News reported on Sunday.
According to the report, the purpose of the conversations was, among other things, to make sure that Israel would not interfere with the transfer of air defense measures that Russia is taking out of Syrian territory to the Ukrainian area.
Reshet Bet radio reported that a Russian official who is close to the Kremlin warned about a week ago that a Russian loss on the battlefield could lead to a wave of antisemitism against Jews. According to the report, the Russian official told an Israeli official, “The fact that Russia is losing the war in Ukraine will cause a search for scapegoats.”
The same official added that the common denominator between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other leaders will lead to antisemitism on the Russian side. The message sent by the Russian leader is that Putin is the one who is preventing a wave of antisemitism from breaking out.
@Peloni How can you say that when this comes from reputable anonymous sources!

So a Russian official is claiming that Russia is losing the war? Is this Russian official also moonlighting as the Ghost of Kiev? No matter who you believe is winning or losing this war, no rational argument could be made in which a Russian official would posit that Russia is losing the war in Ukraine, which combined with the fact that the ‘Russian official’ goes unnamed, reveals this to be just more of the US-Ukraine Snake-Island/organized-rape-gangs/Russia-bombed-their-own-pipeline/Russia-attacked-Poland BS. One day the boy who cried wolf will actually meat a wolf and be swallowed whole, and even if the boy does not learn his lesson from this event, at least there will be fewer lies emanating from his well digested imagination.
In effect, Ukraine doesn’t have a monopoly on nazis. Isn’t it time to retire that trope and see what the Russian government is? Read RT for examples.
Well, the one bright side to this war is the Russian withdrawal from Syria.
Same old joke about Tsar Nicholas discussing Russian participation in World War I. ‘If we are defeated the people will be so miserable that they’ll all get drunk and go massacre the Jews. But if we win the people will be so happy that they’ll all get drunk and go massacre the Jews’.
They’re yanking our chain. However, we need to look beyond that and figure out why. The only obvious pointer is Iran, which has, to dome degree,
benefited from the Russian umbrella.
Why do you suppose this Russian official thinks his side is losing? Doesn’t he watch all these videos on Israpundit? 😀
