Israel is the most vaccinated country per capita in the world and yet COVID-19 is increasing throughout every sector. The government continues to push vaccinations as a solution within the context of further restrictions designed to push people to a vaccine that seems to have less efficacy than was believed.

How do tyrants coopt the freedoms from democratic citizens? By govts exercising authorities with which they have not been empowered, while the protections afforded by the judiciary and state agencies remain disengaged, and the public either acquiesces to such abuses, or protest in small gatherings or as individuals – either of which the state will crush with its bureaucratic tools.
How might a democratic citizen regain their freedom? By exercising their rights in large groups to demonstrate that these are, in fact, their rights, albeit you need a lot of networking and organization at the local level to prevent the bureaucracy striking back, which they might do in any case so – don’t approach this task lightly.
My great-grandfather wrote an essay nearly a century ago that all politics is based upon local organizations that are networked to support the national organization. This is still true today.
